Absolutely loved our stay in this sweet home! The house itself is a mid-century gem and so so peaceful. The hot tub was incredibly relaxing after long days of exploring the peninsula, and the sounds of the river running through the backyard only added to the ambiance! Beds and rooms were clean and comfortable. The living room was great for movie nights, with enough room for everyone to get cozy. I would have loved to have a fire going, but there weren't clear instructions on checking the flue and damper, or how the hosts would have expected us to clean up after, so we decided to nix that idea. The only note I have is that I wish tissues were provided! We visited end of March, with chilly, rainy weather, so we had some runny noses in our bunch that would have benefited from some tissues. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay - thank you!

La maison de Phil & Steph est très bien située au bord du lac et exposé sud. Pour se baigner il suffit de descendre sur le ponton et ensuite on se prélasse au soleil sur un transat. Phil est hyper réactif et très sympa. Le logement est impeccable pour 6 personnes sans se gêner. On peut cuisiner il y a tout ce qu’il faut, et nous cuisions beaucoup, et il y a un supermarché bien fourni à 3 minutes à pied. La nuit est calme et le jour paisible. Nous recommandons sincèrement ce logement et y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Beautiful and convenient location for our Victoria trip. Lake view and private dock was a bonus. We went during Thanksgiving so we appreciated the view and hot tub. Only complaint was the very limited cooking pans and pots

We enjoyed our stay at this beautifully designed A-frame house. The setting was so peaceful, surrounded by trees on a lovely property. It was the perfect size for our family of three. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the great collection of books, games, and plants. Andrew and Catherine were wonderful hosts and very responsive to any questions we had. The location was a fantastic base for exploring the Olympic Park. We had such a wonderful time and hope to come back again soon!

We had a fantastic stay - right on the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The jacuzzi overlooking the water was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is spectacular with everything you could need and the living area is very nice. The full wall of glass windows and sliders with the wrap-around deck was great. The heated floors were an unexpected, but welcome surprise!

Great great place! So many games for our family and the place is a dog heaven! The beds are comfy (tho every bedroom mattress is different - we had to rotate beds cause some people prefer softer / firmer etc, but nice we had the ability to switch around) We didn’t try the sauna or soak tub :( we were wiped from our day adventures. Victoria is kind of like an hour away cause of traffic, which we had the worse luck with. Ton of parking in the driveway for our huge SUV and the kitchen was well stocked! Super responsive host too! We would stay again!

What a lovely stay me and my family had in Jordan River. The house felt like home, the sauna was an incredible bonus and we loved the sound of the running creek. The cold shoulder cafe was a highlight for our boys and the hikes were all within a short drive. Julie was a fantastic host with a gem of a property. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

I was just in town for a weekend but I felt immediately comfortable and at home. The space was well kept, very cute, and stocked with the few essentials that I needed for my trip. The host was timely and friendly in her responses. The home was on a beautiful property and it was a great reset from my big city living.

Cynthia’s house was perfect for us. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. It was quiet and so peaceful there. The molasses cookies that was left for us were delicious and so thoughtful!! We had a 4 hour delay with rental car issues, I messaged Cynthia to let her know it would be very late before we arrived.. she was so understanding and kind and left the light on for us . She responded quickly and gave me several good recommendations for our trip in the area. I would recommend Cynthia’s home to anyone!! And I would definitely stay with Cynthia again.

We were only guests at Aletta for one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed it! The location of the house is unique. The furnishings were very beautiful and minimalist. The short walk to the beach is wonderful! Simply a dream place! We would come back anytime…

Loved this place, had everything we needed for the weekend. Perfect location, easy place to find and had nearby grocery stores in case we needed it. The pool table was a nice touch, we definitely had fun with it. Would definitely recommend/ come back again.

Our family absolutely loved the place! It was comfortable, peaceful and one of a kind. It even smelled lovely when we arrived, probably due to some fresh lavender bunches and the wood stove. John and Mel were very kind people and took the time to help our kids get comfortable with their dogs and goats. Our kids love animals and this was a really nice touch. I just wish we had visited in warmer weather so we could open the big roll up door and let the outside in. If we ever make it back this way, we'll come in the summer.
