It was even more fantastic as we expected it. The Mudhouse is a privat dream with everything you need. We had a very chilled stay in the nature and would love to come back anytime. Even the weather was not perfect, we were able to enjoy the accomodation and had a good time.

Our go to place when working in Hluhluwe and surrounds. Beautiful place with many nyala and impala on farm. Lots of space to go for a safe walk/run and there is a parkrun on the farm every Saturday. Wessel will go out of his way to accommodate his guests.

Nice chalet with everything you need. Very nice staff. All kitchen gear you could ever need available an nice braai etc. Room was clean and cozy with nice beds. Showers and toilets where also clean and working well. Perfect, especially consodering the price.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible romantic getaway, nestled deep in the bushes. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the accommodation were impressive, with a stunning bathroom that felt like a luxurious oasis. The view from the apartment was breathtaking, and the pool was immaculately maintained. What truly made our stay special was the sense of seclusion and privacy. Being surrounded by nature, with zebras and other animals roaming freely, was a surreal experience. The trees, birds, and peaceful atmosphere created a sense of tranquility that was hard to leave behind. Our host was warm and welcoming, providing thoughtful touches such as ample clean towels, insect repellents, and peaceful sleep sprays. It was clear that they had gone above and beyond to ensure our comfort and relaxation.

This was honestly one the best places i have stayed , and i have stayed all over the world. Was extremely hot , hosts offered us something refreshing to drink on arrival. The food is not 100% is is 110% by far the most tasteful home cooked food you will ever get. We literally sat in the lounge with a beverage and the watched the wildlife walk past us. The hosts, it will be hard to describe them into words . It simply will not do them justice , they were such kind souls , so friendly and accommodating , they made us feel so welcome, so much knowledge in one place. Mike & Rose are the type of people we wish this world had more off. The are simply amazing. I am forever thankful i crossed paths with them and their beautiful lodge. I would recommend this Lodge to anyone anytime. Thank you again Rose and Mike

We stayed at Kerens place, Chumbi house, for a last minute family weekend away as a base to visit Hluhluwe iMfolozi. Karen was very quick to respond as was Lizelle from Kuleni Park who helped us organise a lovely game drive in Hluhluwe with Lindi our driver. Nancy who comes in to clean, was very friendly, helpful and discreet when coming in to clean during the day. The drive is a bit bumpy so a bit of caution to those in long low vehicles - we were in a Toyota Corolla and it did scrape a bit on one or two of the bumps. First thought driving to chumbi was it was a bit off the beaten track but it’s lovely driving in and spotting the kudu, zebras, diuker and other antelope strolling through the forest. Ah the house! I was very pleasantly surprised, the house is beautiful! Spacious, tranquil and made to take in the gorgeous surroundings. It’s such a pleasure to wake up grab a coffee get in the pool and watch giraffe grazing the nearby trees. Thank you for the memorable weekend!!!

The place is amazing, quite and clean. We enjoyed our stay and Jac was helpful with some tips for local travel.

We had a great stay at Dale’s place. Beautiful surroundings, kind staff and the food at the restaurant was delicious.
