Beautifuly furnished house ,perfect for a weekend with friends. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was well maintained & just what we needed to relax. Jo was a friedly & very helpful host ,I would recomend anyone to come & stay at this beautiful peaceful location . Thank you for a lovley weekend at you tranquil home .

Lovely little cottage, absolutely spotless and very cosy with decent quality bedding. We enjoyed our stay and would like to come back to explore a bit more. Great location, if like us, you want to escape the town/city/concrete.. but still want amenities on your doorstep. Supermarket, butchers, garage and pubs etc. We loved the hot tub and log fire...and the trail, literally out the back gate turn left. Would also recommend The Hardwick Inn, a short drive away for their home-cooked pies! Great communication with host. Thank you Jennie!

We have stayed at numerous Airbnb’s, finally we have found one that matches the description. In fact the lodge exceeds the description. Jo was friendly and approachable. Kept in touch prior to the stay and available throughout. The lodge is set in the grounds of the family home. The grounds are lovely and add to the experience. The lodge itself is laid out perfectly from the open plan living/kitchen area to the spacious bedrooms, large bathroom and an upstairs snug which overlooks the garden and park. Super clean! Not a water mark or dust anywhere. The bedding smells fresh and is ironed. Tasteful furniture and decor. TV’s in each room. Overall we felt the lodge had a lovely homely feeling. It was a perfect stay. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Jo & Jules.

Will's place was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Not only was Will very proactive and easy to reach, the place was stunning! The cottage was so beautifully decorated and had such a homely and cosy feel. The fire made our evenings cosy and warm, with lots of wood to hand. The cottage was secluded and situated in a beautiful village with plenty of pretty walks nearby! We highly recommend heading into Bakewell for a day, and visiting the Prince of Wales for some supper (only a 5 minute drive from the cottage). We cannot thank Will enough for making our experience this great, we cannot wait to come back :)

Would like to start by thanking Penny for a warm welcome to her stunning home which included a freshly baked cake, homemade scones, jam and clotted cream plus croissants. The property itself is immaculate from top to bottom. Beautiful furniture, furnishings, beds, bed linen, towels, toiletries. You really only need to bring your food and drink and that’s it. If you forget anything Penny will sort for you. We were waiting for a taxi on the Saturday and Penny offered to drive us into town if it didn’t turn up. The grounds are stunning and there are woodland walks on the doorstep. We had the hot tub which was great fun and best of all there is a washer and tumble dryer so no wet towels and swimsuits to take home. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. Can only give a 5 star review but would give 10 star if possible. The pictures are great but seeing is believing.

What can I say?! The cottage was easy to find, over and above with equipment and facilities. Squeeky clean. Not a speck anywhere. Great wine glasses which is a big bug bare of mine: nice premium large wine glasses, champagne flutes and tumblers for every kind of drink. Emma the host was friendly, helpful and approachable. The cottage is set in a Quiet, tranquil setting. Loved the private hot tub. Made good use of it whilst star gazing. Already planning a return visit. Thank you Emma and her team!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at this BnB, I couldn’t recommend it enough! Rebecca was very attentive and had a very quick response time. The place was beautifully clean and the location had lots of things to do around it.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The property was breathtaking, with stunning views that we could admire for hours. Every detail had been carefully considered the house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to thoughtful extras that made our stay feel truly special. The Bluetooth speakers were already set up in both the house and the bar/games room, creating an instant, cozy atmosphere the moment we arrived. Richard gave us a warm welcome, greeting us upon arrival and walking us through everything we needed to know. Sophie was fantastic always available to answer any questions and offering plenty of great recommendations for nearby shops and restaurants. They were truly fabulous hosts! We would love to stay here again in the future. ❤️

Wow, what a beautiful place and the most peaceful spot you could imagine. Myself and my partner were just blown away with it all. From the scenic drive down to Atlow Mill down to the very small but amazing detail throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this to anyone. James was a great host and more than happy to help point out places to visit. This is one place we most certainly will be returning to!

This cabin is an absolute gem! David and his wife are the most welcoming hosts, making sure every detail is perfect. The space is spotless, stylish, and beyond comfortable. You can feel the love and care they put into hosting. We loved every moment and would come back in a heartbeat!

What an amazing place!! 😍 We stayed here for a long weekend and didn’t feel the need to leave as it was so beautiful and peaceful. 🌳🍃The decoration inside was so unique and cosy, and the outside space was huge and so pretty!! Would 100% recommend, thank you ❤️

What an absolute gem - Liz has a beautiful place which was a haven in the busy life we find ourselves in. The house is well thought out with great entertaining space and cosy rooms and I particularly loved the firm mattresses. The hot tub is a wonderful addition and it was sheer bliss spending time soaking under the night sky. The little touches like the welcome hamper made this a luxurious stay that felt like a 5-star holiday from the moment we arrived. We hope to be back to experience Sherwood Forest through all the seasons.

Had such a great stay. Gorgeous accommodation and perfect for the dogs with gated garden. Lovely friendly and helpful hosts on hand to help. Nice area with lots in driving distance and some lovely restaurants. Would definitely visit again

perfect just perfect . this place is an absolute gem we arrived on Friday evening the cabin was lovely and cosy with fire going snd soft music playing there was even a little something nice left in the fridge for us. the place was immaculately vlean and tidy .Duncan was extremely helpful with directions to his place and with his recommendations for eating out. we will definitely be returning sometime in the summer .
