Lovely property. Perfect for two. Kitchen was well equipped and whole place was clean and cosy. Marieanne was friendly and welcoming. Village of Castleton is extremely well located for numerous walks in the area. Loads of lovely places to eat. 1530 italian restaurant, The George has a good menu plus amazing pizza van. The Bulls Head has a garden with stunning views and their fish tuesday was delicious. Thank you Derbyshire for an amazing 5 day break xx

This place is such a lovely place!! We could not have asked for anything better we wished we had stayed longer! The 3 beds where all very comfortable and there as plenty of space for 6 adults!! Honestly 10/10 air bnb

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Sunnybank. Emma was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is comfortable clean and very well equipped. It offers private parking and is located within easy walking distance to the centre of Holmfirth a lovely, quirky pennine town with lots of independent shops, cafes and bars!

Stayed in Buxton for the first time for three days. Firstly Buxton is lovely - very pretty town with lots to see and amazing countryside on your doorstep. The apartment was only five minutes walk from the town centre. The apartment is extremely elegant - big rooms, stylish furniture, all modern conveniences, everything worked and everything was extremely clean. Lots of helpful tourist info left by the host. Ample street parking. Host very quick to reply to messages. Everything you need for a visit to the Peak District. Would definitely recommend.

James is helpful, responsive and understanding! I needed a lot of flexibility and quite a few extensions due to the nature of my stay and James made it so much easier. Whenever something was hard to operate or broke down James would help and fix it on the same day! The flat was exactly as shown and is very comfortable and easy to clean. The location is as central as it gets so the entire city centre is easily walkable and there’s always something to do at a few minutes’ distance. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely be my first choice whenever I’m back in Sheffield!

Had a great time, Tai and Amy are great hosts and respond quickly with any queries I had. They had set the house nicely for our arrival with complimentary drinks and set the kids an easter egg hunt which was a nice touch. All in all a nice relaxing trip away.

Lovely clean, comfortable and welcoming home. Really well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, nice lounge. Bathroom has a lovely big bath and really good shower. Close enough to town centre and good bus and train transport links. Local shops and takeaways on the door step. Be warned walk to Buxton town steep on the way back! Overall fabulous stay in a lovely home.

Great place to stay for the weekend of our relatives’ wedding. Check in was straightforward and hosts welcoming. Super house, load of space and well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely private and secure garden for the pooch. Drive for off road parking. Cool tv and audio facilities. Sparkly clean top to bottom. Thoughtful touches like local walking books and a local map with recommendations for places to go up on the wall in the study. Even tea / coffee / shower gel / dishwasher tabs in case we had forgotten. Comfortable and homely. Loved it. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks!

Absolutely beautiful house in a great location. Modern, stylish and well equipped. The location is perfect with Buxton just five minutes down the road for all your restaurant, cafes and shopping needs. There is also an aldi and pet shop just 2 minutes down the road. The neighbourhood was peaceful with beautiful views. Parking was very easy, we parked on the street outside but there was also a private garage. Highly recommend visiting magpie mine which is a 15 minute drive away and The Old Smithy Tearooms & Restaurant in Monyash for a delicious breakfast or bacon roll. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this place again

A home away from home! Carole is a friendly and accommodating host and the house is absolutely gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, all amenities needed for a short or long stay, incredibly comfortable and a super location. We stayed for two weeks and have already booked for next year. Would highly recommend!

A perfect stopover to break a long journey. Comfy beds and milk and tea waiting for a cup of tea when we arrived. A great stopover, thank you. Parking was on the road, but that wasn't a problem for us .

Everything as described in the add and very helpful when requested late check out. Would 100% stay again would of booked the week after if was available but unfortunately was fully booked

This is the second time that we have stayed at John's. The apartment is perfect and set in a beautiful location. John provides all the essentials and more. He provided milk, tea, coffee, orange juice, local bread, cereals and biscuits which was appreciated. I would highly recommend this apartment and if I am ever in Sheffield again I will definitely return. Thank you John.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Beautiful lodge in a quiet surrounding just perfect to chill for a few days. Excellent very well maintained little extra made this well worth the money, though we didn’t see our hosts and this is most definitely not a negative as we prefer that we also knew that if there was anything me required or needed they were on hand. Highly recommended.

We had 4 adults and 3 children under 5 years stay for two nights. The kids loved it with plenty if space for them to run around and for the adults to socialise. The running joke of the weekend was trying to find something to complain about because we couldn't. Everything in the apartment is of premium quality. From the beds and quilts to the bowls and mugs. You can tell the owners care for the apartment and the experience of the guest. Apartment was spotless when we arrived. The views and locations is fantastic. The sound of running water very calming. I will be back for sure.

We had a lovely stay with friends, in a great location & it was a beautiful apartment. We enjoyed the accessible walks with nice pub stops along the way. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of crockery, nice glasses & pots & pans. The only disappointment was that the essentials were a little sparse with no shower gel, little washing up liquid and small quantities of toilet roll, soap and dishwasher tablets. The kitchen was lovely but had some cupboard doors missing. The apartment was generally clean but a bit dusty around the edges.

Lovely stay at this little place, with a very comfy bed! Our daughter joined us for 2 of the 4 nights for a special family event - sofa also comfy. The garden was a proper little suntrap! Parking was great on the private gated drive - enough room for 3 cars. Theres no oven in the kitchen but plenty of other cooking equipment, including 2 barbecues! The small wetroom adjoining the living area now has a new shower which copes with the low pressure well. Main bedroom has no window, but theres decent air conditioning so it doesnt feel at all stuffy; lots of wardrobe & drawer space. Loads of extra blankets too! Very easy to find just off the M1 with a local pub a short walk away. Jacksdale is a lovely little village with beautiful walks. Last minute Sunday lunch at the Horse & Groom was fantastic only 15 mins drive and close to Bennerley Viaduct - worth a visit! Big thanks to son Brent for giving us a lift to the party & to Beryl for sorting the shower so quickly. We will return!

Comfortable, well appointed apartment within easy walking distance of city centre, Kelham Island and tram stops. More spacious than it appears in the photos. Very responsive and amenable host. Good, secure parking.
