Beautiful location, private, pristine, peaceful. Lots of space, well set up for water activities, fireside chats, and relaxing the day away. The sauna is a wonderful addition. Well stocked with lots of towels and firewood, great layout with an open kitchen and comfortable living room.

We were so pleased with our stay! Beautiful location, wonderful sandy bottom lake, privacy, comfort, very well equipped kitchen. We will definitely book again!

Curtis’s place is the perfect spot to be close to White Point Beach and Liverpool. They had everything you could possibly need and more set up, the space was clean and accessible. The outdoor space really makes this place special! Hope to stay again soon!

Absolutely beautiful spot, and the cabin is gorgeous. I loved the radio with Bluetooth connectivity. I listened to Spotify all weekend! lol. And for such a remote, private place it was conveniently close to Liverpool.

Great spot to stay! Super close to both Summerville and Carters Beach. Very clean and comfortable place. We wish we could’ve made use of the fire pit/hot tub as it was lovely, it poured rain during our whole weekend stay. Would love to return to this same location for a future stay.

Lovely get away. So peaceful. The view- absolutely beautiful. The cottage feels brand new. The natural lighting - wonderful. Sleep to the sound of the ocean waves. Hot tub - perfect. Loved the slippers and robes. Jeffrey was welcoming and answered all questions. We felt at home right away. The cottage is one room with beautiful furnishings for each function. Chefs note...The kitchen counter space is tight, so don't plan on complex meals and no oven. We are thankful for our time and would visit again.

We very much enjoyed our getaway at Tracey’s charming little cottage. Comfortable and clean with lovely eclectic decor, this spot was a cozy place to spend the week. The cottage is nestled in the trees for privacy with a nice outdoor deck looking out to the ocean and lighthouse. Tracey was a responsive, generous, and accommodating host. Our favourite activity was walking the beaches. Nearby Crows Neck Beach and the stunning beaches on Cape Sable Island are must-sees. Even though our weather wasn’t perfect, exploring the beaches was uplifting even on grey, drizzly days. Another enjoyable activity was driving through rural communities to see some wonderful historic homes. There were quite a few restaurants within 20-30 minutes. Our favourite for lunch was The Salt Banker in Clark’s Harbour. Lots of options around for fried seafood and burgers, as well as some bistro-type dining in Shelburne. We absolutely recommend Witsend Cottage for a peaceful, relaxing visit.

The place was nicely decorated and peaceful, the fireplace was awesome, the full kitchen easy to use, the directions for the place and local recommendations was wonderful, and the host communicates promptly and with great effort to make sure to get the information needed. The washer and dryer are such a nice feature and work well! Control of the indoor temperature took some time to figure out for each floor and the outside fluctuating temperature didn't help, and you can hear each other's rooms at times, these are very minor things and can be dealt with. the local stores and restaurants do close by 8pm local time so factor that into your trip. The place overall was just what was needed for the weekend trip! the place is sweet and I would recommend others to stay there!

This was a great stay and we hope to be back. The weather was less than favorable but it didn't matter, we loved staying here. Beautiful location and an amazing home. It had everything we needed!

Such a perfect getaway place at an incredible location. Highly recommend for anyone looking for clean and cozy comfort with that ol’ beachhouse vibe. Our second time here — but now a go-to spot for our visits to lovely Shelburne. We love it!

Highly recommend this place!! I stayed here with three of my friends and it had everything we needed. It was a clear night and the stars were out so bright. This property also has beautiful views of the lake and is in a very peaceful area. To top it off, the host is wonderful at communicating! Check in was made extremely simple for us. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a different reason for staying at Mink Lake ... we are considering purchasing a property on Mink Lake and I wanted a place to stay that would allow me to get a better feel for the lake and the area. Amanda was super helpful in accommodating my timeline and duration and was very good at communicating throughout our reservation and stay. Much appreciated!

Amanda was a great host. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and so helpful. The location was so cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. It has all the amenities of home and beds were super comfortable. A great location between Shelburne and Barrington.

Beautiful spot nestled in the woods on a gorgeous lake. Plenty of outdoor activities and two large cabins for those rainy days. Can’t recommend enough if you are looking for a secluded get away.

Laura was an exemplary host who answered questions in a flash! Self check-in was a breeze and we felt so warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in. There were so many fun games and great books, fishing gear and beach toys, we even got to teach our daughter to play the classic ‘guess who’ which made for a great nightly ritual for the week we were there. One of our favourite things about this sweet piece of paradise is the unbeatable location. We were able to paddle around the river at high tide and the sandy estuary was really fun and interesting to explore. The cottage is nestled under some large trees for much appreciated shade on a hot day and in the early evening the light reflects off the water and in onto the ceiling inside the cottage - so dreamy! It’s an incredible setting! If we are ever in the area again this cottage will be top on the list for places to stay for sure! Highly recommended

We we in Nova Scotia for a couple of weeks, and stayed in a number of great places. Brian's guest house was by far the best part of our vacation. The home is on a very quite ocean-front road, and the property is very large. There are 13 acres with walking trails leading out the back of the property and into a beautiful forest environment. The guest home has everything, and truly made for a comfortable and exciting stay! Awesome guests, and we will be back!

We really enjoyed staying at Tarah’s cottage. We were visiting with family in Port Mouton for a week and her cottage was perfectly located. Everything you need to have a comfortable holiday on the lake was provided. The cottage was very clean, organized and exactly as shown in the photos. The lake was beautiful. We enjoyed the dock, canoeing and swimming in the warm lake. Tarah was wonderful and was quick to answer all of my questions. We hope to visit again next summer. Thank you for having us 😊

We had a beautiful winter weekend away from the city at Karen's place. It was cozy, clean, comfortable, and charming. A beautiful home!

This is our second year returning to Wallace’s place and again we loved it. It feels like you’re at home as soon as you drive into the property! Our family of 3 & one 75 lb dog managed out just fine here as our main focus was the beach & camp fires! Even tho there are neighbours on either side the space is still super private! You can paddle and swim in the river & Summerville beach is right there as well! We highly recommend this spot if you want to turn off (still have wifi), relax & enjoy the outdoors!

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was clean and looked just like the pictures. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature this is the place for you. We had a bonfire, barbecue, walked to the beach, it was amazing. The host is responsive, nice and helpful.

We had the most wonderful stay in this spacious and clean house . Beautiful views of the water watching the boats coming in and out . I would definitely stay again ! Thanks for the memories ❤️
