My friends and I enjoyed our stay in Chelle's listing. It was very spacious and very comfortable and just a beautiful house! The hottub was fabulous and the curtained-in experience was a wonderful addition. I would definitely stay here again!

My family and I loved Elizabeth’s place! It’s historic, charming, and beautiful. It has all the amenities you need, and it’s walking distance to restaurants, shops, and bars. It was the perfect jumping off location for the bourbon trail. You’re approximately 30m from Buffalo Trace, 30m to Louisville, and a hour to Bardstown. There’s distilleries even 5-10m away. I recommend anyone looking to enjoy a weekend getaway in Kentucky to stay here! I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you, Elizabeth!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home near Shelbyville, KY! The property was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and we loved using the grill for outdoor meals. The fire pit was gorgeous and perfect for cozy evenings, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. One of the highlights for us was the fully enclosed backyard, which was a dream for our pups! They had plenty of space to roam and play safely, giving us peace of mind. The home also offered plenty of entertainment options, so we were never bored. The location was excellent—secluded enough for a peaceful getaway but close to several distilleries along the Bourbon Trail, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and adventure. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with great amenities while being conveniently located for bourbon tasting and exploring, this is the perfect place.

Our group wants to thank Torrey for such a great stay. We had a fantastic time when we traveled in mid-March 2025 for a long weekend. The property was a perfect getaway — it included games, spaces to hang out, activities, a vast outdoor space, and a great fire pit. We were in town for a bachelor party on the Bourbon Trail and could not have asked for a better accommodations. The house was also much bigger than it looked and met all of our needs. Check-in and check-out were seamless. It was only a 30-minute drive to downtown Louisville and not super far from many distilleries outside of Lexington. We would definitely come back and stay at Torrey’s the next time we are in town! Highly recommend.

We were looking for an overnight stay for an emergency early morning veterinarian visit in Louisville. Amy's place was perfect for our needs. There is a private area in back for pet needs and the parking is private and very safe in back of the house. The kitchen is very large and has too many amenities to name. There is a drip coffee machine in the kitchen, as well as a single and double French Press, there is also a Keurig in the master ensuite sunroom. Perfect for our early departure. Taylor, our host, was very responsive. Even arranging for an early check-in. The two mattresses we slept in were Tempur-Pedic, and while seeming firm at first molded to the body. We are used to road and railroad noise so that didn't bother us at all, especially since we both use a white noise app on our phones. The trip into Louisville in the morning rush hour only took us 20 minutes. We are very appreciative of the hospitality of Amy and Taylor.

We had a wonderful stay. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that cleanliness was a top priority—the entire space was spotless and well-maintained. The home was stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra towels and blankets. It truly felt like a home away from home. I will just give a recommendation on WiFi, it works at times and only for the TV, not a big bother only if you watch a movie. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfy, and well-equipped place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Judy's home in Shelbyville is absolutely gorgeous!!! Each room is UNIQUE and VERY tastefully decorated; some even a work of art! If I could give a 10 star rating, I absolutely would! The home was impeccably clean and well maintained. Check-in was a breeze! The neighborhood is quaint and peaceful with downtown shops and great restaurants close by. Judy is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond the call of duty to be helpful, friendly and responsive to ones needs. The fenced in back yard with fire pit and hot tub were a bonus to this exceptional home! The amenities are endless with everything one might need for a comfortable and relaxing stay! Our thanks to you Judy for helping to make our girls trip one we will never forget!

House was beautiful well accented and updated and modern. Pool table and downstairs area was a great addition, didn’t figure out the air conditioning till checkout and it was 85 so the house got hot so I should’ve asked how it worked. Beds were very comfortable memory foam mattresses. Loved it and will stay again if I’m in the area.

Christine's guest home is very unique and cozy space. It is located on a working horse farm and has a big pool and hot tub for guest use. Christine was a very responsive and accommodating host, she was always around and responsive. I travel to the area often to visit family and I will definitely be staying here again!

Kim helped me get reservations set up for my parents anniversary, for the second year in a row. She is extremely kind and helpful, and my parents loved her place and the area so much they went back! Very clean and nice place, plenty of extra amenities, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area and wildlife, good restaurants within driving distance, and plenty of privacy and a feeling of safety and calm! Thank you again Kim from all of us, especially my very happy parents!

The place was located in a great area, close to shopping. It was a beautiful apartment, comfortably furnished. Charles was always responsive to any messages that I sent. I highly recommend this place to stay! 😊

Loved our stay at Deb’s. Excellent location and tons of amenities! Huge plus for being pet friendly. Our pup felt right at home!

We had a wonderful time staying at Jared’s cottage! Felt right at home! There was an issue with the hot tub but he had someone come out right then and there to take care of the issue. Very responsive and flexible!

AMAZING! We decided to break up our drive home from NC to WI with a stay in the Louisville area & came across the Airstream when searching. It was close to absolute perfection for our family of 5. The Airstream itself was super adorable, well appointed, and looked just like the pictures. We had plenty of room. What really made it amazing was the farm! I have a horse lover and a cat lover & in general, all my kids love animals. We were able to have many up-close & personal experiences with the horses & my kids loved playing with the friendly cats & dogs. They were out with the animals in their pajamas right after waking in the morning & didn't want to leave! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, & friendly. The only downfall was the train track next to the property. The weather was beautiful, so we had the windows open & were awoken to the train going by overnight a few times. The kids slept through it though! Overall, it was well worth the experience & memories we made! Thank you!

The house was awesome. Far away from the city and far from other houses and properties. It’s very peaceful and quiet. You can hear all of nature around. We love the inside of the house also. Very clean and super comfortable. We barbecued in the back and did some front porch sippin on good bourbon. We will definitely come back.

The cabin was beautiful and the location was very convenient. The Rec Barn was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough great things about Bourbon Hills! My husband and I stayed here with my parents while we enjoyed the Bourbon Trail. There is one bedroom on the main floor that was great for my parents so they didn’t have to use the stairs. The house is beautiful and the scenery is amazing as well! Brittany was fantastic throughout our entire stay! She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and gave great tips on places we should absolutely visit. We had one minor issue with the bathroom upstairs but Brittany responded quickly and had the issue repaired in less than 24 hours. We will definitely be staying at this property again next year! Thanks for everything, Brittany! 🤗. Don’t miss out on this private beautiful home.
