We had a great stay! Ann Marie was super responsive, and the space was clean, comfortable, and just as described. It’s an easy walk to the beach and only a short drive to town. A perfect little getaway spot for a couple—highly recommend!

Kate's place is an absolute gem! This was our first time to Shelter Island, and we loved the laid-back atmosphere. Kate's home has everything you need to have a relaxing weekend, from the amazing, heated pool to the kayaks on the beach, a 2-minute walk from the house! Having been in the hospitality business for over 25 years I tend to be super critical about cleanliness and amenities offered.....this house does not disappoint! We were a group of 10 attending a winery dinner and decided to stay for the weekend. We only left the house to attend the dinner, the rest of the time we stayed at the house, either in the pool, on the deck BBQing or inside chatting where there are two living rooms and a very well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable! We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again. :)

Petra’s house is in the most beautiful spot on a small lake and a stones throw from the beach. This was our second year there and we hope to be back. The house is stocked with everything you need to feel comfortable including great bath products, kitchen, equipment, and toys and books. I never felt uncomfortable in her house. This was a wonderful family week in heaven.

I can’t thank Ashley enough for a truly special stay for my mom and me. Her home is absolutely magical, decorated so beautifully and comfortably. One rainy day we had such a nice time sitting with a cozy fire and later watching a movie on the biggest tv I’ve ever seen. The kitchen had all the amenities needed to make a great meal, and the bathrooms were fully stocked. Everything was spotlessly clean. And the crown jewel of it all is that unbelievable view. You can see the water in pretty much every room of the house, even the bathrooms! But the living room, kitchen and dining room, and master suite upstairs have the most breathtaking views of all. I found myself just staring at the sea so many times instead of reading or crocheting, just because it was so beautiful. Thank you so much Ashley for this little slice of heaven, and for your kindness. We can’t wait to come back!

This place exceeded our expectations! It was a great rental for our kids and there was a lot of indoor and outdoor activities for them and they had a blast. It was a great place to stay!

I would highly recommend Melissa's place in Jamesport. It was a great location with room to enjoy with some family members including children. It was perfect with some toys and a big outdoor area (and a private beach!) for us all to spend some time together while visiting family in the area. Melissa was accommodating and clear in her directions and gave us a warm welcome with a greeting basket, information about the area and coffee! The location is lovely and everything about the house was fun and comfortable. Thanks!

The Cottage was a perfect blend of rustic and modern, thoughtfully appointed and had everything we could think of. Our big plus was the trust and no hassle from the hosts to include our beloved big dog. My husband and I came out to the North Fork for our October babymoon. The Cottage town area is very serene during the fall season, with most activity around the pumpkin farms. Our favorite things to do—take the dog down to the bulkhead in the mornings, spend the afternoons on a nature walk/winery nearby and nights at a local restaurant. Cons but not dealbreakers: Spotty internet often went in/out. Persistent fruit flies all throughout house, traps didn’t help. The listing advises of the Main House rental, we found it not very private to the closeby Cottage. With big glass doors and sheer curtains, you’re in plain view to the House at night. It felt too intimate for our preference to share the small beach with strangers 15 ft away, esp with their kids and our dog.

We lived our stay at Carey’s place and plan to come back next year. Amazing location if you want to relax and take a few days away from the city. The house is very cozy and comfortable with a great backyard facing the water. Thanks Carey!!

The house’s location was amazing and exactly as described. It was great having the beach in the backyard and being able to swim whenever I felt like it. There were plenty of areas to sleep, eat and sit either as a group or individually. The house was well stocked with anything you could need. I had an issue and Joseph responded and took care of it super quickly. There’s a lot to do in the area, but I didn’t get to a lot of it because I was enjoying the property so much.

Great spot for a long weekend! Wonderful location close to the beach and local wineries. Richard was a great host offering lots of recommendations and clear instructions for check in and using available amenities.

My friends and I stayed at Richard's cottage for the long weekend (4th of July) and we had a blast. The view of the lake from the living room was amazing, and the place was cute (even cuter than the pics) and comfortable with everything we needed, we all had a great sleep since it's so peaceful around the area, and the beds were really comfortable same as the big sofa. The cottage was perfect for the 3 of us and our 2 pups. We enjoyed the sunset from the lake and went for a swim a couple of times, the water was delicious. Richard was very good at communicating; he was very responsive, he helps us with the beach essentials, provided guidance, and great recommendations around the area. We are already planning on returning and getting both cottages this time, hoping are available for our next trip!

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. Erica was always available with any questions or concerns and the location was perfect for walking to the wonderful stores and restaurants, which were pointed out in the welcoming basket. The backyard was extremely spacious and I can imagine how useful it would be in the warm weather, with the barbecue, nice eating and lounging area and many outdoor games. All in all, it is a lovely place to stay.

Bill’s cottage was perfect for a long weekend away with my wife and daughter. The home was newly renovated and was very clean. We loved the screened-in porch in the back. It was also nicely located close to a variety of good restaurants, breweries, farms, etc. in the North Fork. Bill was welcoming, responsive and easy to communicate with. We hope to be back!
