Absolutely beautiful house and location. Perfect for our family with so many fun activities even just at the house to engage in. Beautifully decorated with so many lovely details. Kitchen super easy to use. We were able to make lots of meals for ourselves. Sauna and hot tub were also amazing. Can’t recommend the house, location or Shabina as a host highly enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hemlock Haven. I am very picky about cleanliness and this property was pristine. The home was stocked with everything we needed and more! From the bathroom essentials to cleaning supplies and coffee and kitchen items - we were impressed! The home is absolutely gorgeous, as are the views. The furniture is all high quality and in good repair. The gym and sauna were the highlights for me! As a daily exerciser, it was so nice to have a treadmill, cable + Smith machine and accessories. The sauna was easy to use and so amazing! Our other highlight was the kitchen - wonderful appliances and cookware for a rental! We were spoiled. We visited the Shenandoah River State Park - specifically Overlook Trail - the views were excellent and would recommend that for an easy, quick hike by the river. I would absolutely book Hemlock Haven again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was a beautiful home, brand new and clean with lovely amenities. Responsive host got back to us in anything we asked about and took care of everything. Location is really good with all the hiking and outdoor activities close but also close to town for shopping/ restaurants if you need that. I would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would warn about is that, despite the gorgeous view, when the sun is setting it is like sitting under a magnifying glass in this home! For several hours there is blinding light and the rooms heat up intensely. This could be ameliorated by installing some auto blinds which they may do since the house is pretty new. However, they still get top points in my book because we didn’t have to clean up before leaving! We will be back!

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

This unit is on the western end of a series of duplexes named Senedo Springs. The gravel roads up here are very walkable. It’s possible to trek down to Lake Laura although it’s a big vertical climb back up. The unit is airy and nice, better than the pictures. Thankfully there is not actually a murphy bed in the living room as shown in the pictures. The blankets are outdated so I recommend bringing your own. Plenty of cookware and dishes available but you’ll need to bring oil, spices, and all other food items. The amenities are great! It’s also nice they provide firewood just a short walk away. Good view of Great North Mountain in the winter. Amazing night sky from this location. This was our second time staying here and it kept its five-star rating!

Waiting for your vacation memories, this chalet is cozy, comfortable, and the perfect mental floss.

Beautiful and remote home. Love the sauna and hot tub. Bed was comfy and the home had everything needed including some snacks left for us. Would stay again and highly recommend. It is remote though so make sure you have what you need going in!
