Such a beautiful cabin in an incredibly property by the lake. The home is spacious and so comfortable for our extended family to hang out, cook and play games. Lots of communal spaces to spend time together, but so many private areas for sleeping and for individual families. The home was incredibly clean and Mark was easy to communicate with. Thanks for the great stay!

We enjoyed a lovely ladies getaway weekend. We were able to do some hiking, kayaking, canoeing and prepare meals at home. A very restful and peaceful weekend. This is a gated community, so there is a few minutes drive to get onto the main road.

The Escape Hatch is the perfect get away. It's location is private and quiet but yet it is not far from numerous area activities. The large deck has gorgeous views of the lake and can accommodate all your guests. The house is very well stocked with pretty much everything you will need. The hosts are very responsive and easy to deal with, making our stay very easy and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.

Kate and Zack’s place was fantastic. There was lots of space, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. The communal living space was perfect for our two small families. We all thought it was better than the photos. We’d definitely stay again.

This was our 4th year renting this house for a week of fishing. My friends and I enjoy the location and easy access to the water. House is always clean and our hosts, Andrew and Chad are very responsive and helpful with any questions we may have.

Beautiful house and lake! It was perfect for our family get together. Kids loved the movie room and game room. We caught fish and enjoyed the screened in porch. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would come here again!

Tracy was very welcoming, informative and accommodating. She was very available if we had any concerns. We were planning a boat trip on the lake and she helped coordinate a boat rental that led to a lovely day on the water. Her mom is cozy and tidy and we felt very comfortable there.

I do not even know where to start… AMAZING! This home felt like heaven on earth. The name should be peaceful paradise. I grew up in the country side and this was just the perfect place to remember many of my childhood memories. My children were so happy and loved kayaking and fishing. The beds were really comfy and we slept peacefully. We were able to relax as a family and Chad and his team were awesome and very patient and responsive. Even though this home is 20 mins away from our new home, we will definitely take vacations at this beautiful home in the future. We were in the process of moving and had our U-Haul and we were able to park it on drive way. The team was very accommodating. Thank you all for everything. Until next time.

Wonderful cottage. Peaceful surroundings. Lots of open grounds and 30 min drive to Charlottesville. Lots of room to spread out. Wonderful weekend getaway.

I have to say, this house really set the bar for our kids. Great big house, two living room areas, four nice-sized bedrooms. The kids LOVED the games (arcade, shuffleboard) and the kitchen had lots of great extras (salt & pepper, etc). Our dog also had a blast, plenty of space to walk her in the backyard and down the street. We walked down to the Lake, which was available to us but not really a place to hang out. Highly recommend the thrift shops nearby (Plum Pickings, for one). Would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic host - highly responsive, accurate description, great place. We loved this place as it was very close to where we needed to go for multiple days, it was large, clean, and well-stocked. We will come back for sure.

Kevin’s place was a great place The fenced yard was just what the pups needed The attention to detail as in coffee pod variety, great shower gel and big fluffy towels were so appreciated Would love to come back when we have more time and the water is warmer for trying out the kayaks

My family and I had a wonderful time celebrating my son's wedding at the AirBnB. We had such a quick weekend full of wedding business, I just wish we had more time to relax as the home was definitely inviting. There was plenty of space for everyone and all stated how cozy the atmosphere made them feel. I wish we could have turned on the fireplaces, but that was not a deal breaker. This was our first time renting an AirBnB and we did not know what to expect. This experience far exceeded our expectations.

Sharon's home had ever creature comfort one could ask for. extra soft , warm blankets, a warm fireplace, a well design kitchen, comfy beds, relaxing spaces inside and outside, very dog friendly, a great neighborhood that was walk friendly, the list could go on. This is a prime pick.

“Home away from home” is the perfect way to describe this place. Tyler was so responsive and helpful and the home was everything we hoped for. The property is beautifully maintained and the location was private and relaxing. We will definitely be back and loved the area and neighborhood.

Derek & Nathan are super hosts! Both hosts are extremely communicative, accommodating, proactive, flexible, professional, and understanding. Our group of 8 was worried of the possibility the snowy weather would affect our travel dates but our hosts took the time out to shovel clearing the exterior prior to our arrival and even providing us with snow materials such as shovels, salt, etc. just in case we needed it. The images didn’t do the interior enough justice either! The home was beautiful, peaceful, quiet, cozy and extremely spacious. For shopping I would recommend doing it early since there is only Food Lion & Dollar General as grocery options but there is an ABC store close by as well if you are into spirits. We will 100% return if our group ever prepares to stay in Mineral again. Thank you both once again.

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

This place is great! Even better than the pictures. We loved kayaking and the game room. Lake Anna was a fun place to explore for a few days. Would certainly return to Jon and Carries place in the future!

As a group of 12 ( adults + kids) the place was perfect for us. We absolutely enjoyed our time at this beautiful home especially the backyard views with the lake were very peaceful.

My family really enjoyed this beautiful home! View of lake was wonderful. Cold weather weekend, but guys still got fire going in fireplace! Seven Grands age range 10 to 24, games in Rec room kept everyone happy. Our favorite thing was Huge dining table! All could sit down to eat. Then have card games going at both ends of table, while the younger group played board game at the bar! Open concept with living area, (football on tv) meant all 16 were in the same space to enjoy being family!!! Well worth the money!!!

I had an amazing experience staying at Romeo's listing. From being a very responsive host to kindly answering every question that we had with great detail and patience, and giving recommendations on the places to visit. He also had a very beautiful edifice that matched the pictures online and ensured that it was kept clean and tidy everytime. My friends and I had a good stay at the house and will be looking forward to staying there when next we visit the area.
