Incredible location with a very comfortable set up. I really appreciate the hospitality and the attention Pam has for her guests. Everything about this place is awesome. I love quiet afternoon and spacious environment, this place is perfect for nature lovers and peace seekers. Night sky will have you gazing at the stars for hours. Home away from home, Thank You Pam for hosting us at this very beautiful property!

This is a gem of a place! Cindy and Bill were excellent hosts. They thought of every possible need for their beautiful and comfortable space. It was fun to wake up and look out to see the alpacas! We will definitely be back!

Was a wonderful stay here. The view is beautiful and it was located in a perfect location for day trips over to the Shenandoah Mountains. Very well stocked kitchen and lots of coffee was provided. My only complaint was that if you are looking to have no interaction with the host then this may not be the place. I am fine with it as I loved the suggestions and connecting with who I am staying with. However their home is quite close to the rental, so not as private as I had assumed. Overall loved the stay here and would do so again.

What a perfect location for a quiet personal retreat! Being able to walk in the woods by the creek right on the property was amazing. There was even a hammock a ways down the path in the middle of the trees! Heavenly.

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

Amazing little place to find available for our trek North. Stopped at el caporal on way in thanks to host’s rec and it was awesome food and margarita. Well designed suite with all the necessary amenities. We stayed one night but we could have stayed a week. Really felt like using someone’s home (rather than house ). Fridge stocked with condiments. Bakery provided for dessert/breakfast. Grounds were awesome for walking the dogs and the area absolutely beautiful and SO wonderfully quiet. Bed comfy. Shower awesome. Absolutely no complaints.

We stayed at Raquel’s place after visiting a winery in Linden and headed to D.C. the next day, so it was convenient! The basement was private and exactly what we needed for the night. We took advantage of the ping pong table which was fun. Thanks! Would stay again!

I’ve been to Nick’s place multiple times and will continue to go back any time I am in Harrisonburg. It’s serene, peaceful and exactly what I needed! It’s still convenient to everything, and Nick has always been a wonderful host!

This home was great! The Beaver Ridge Pond Farm was beautiful and was really peaceful. My daughter loved the animals and being able to look right out of the window and see them anytime was an awesome bonus! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Christi and Scott were so kind and excellent to rent from.

Roanoke is a nice city with lots to do. This place is convenient and the street parking is easy. There is a bakery across the street. We used the sauna when it was 20* outside and we enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the zero gravity chair and hot tub. Thanks for the great stay!

The loft is warm and inviting and the decor is adorable. The property is also beautiful, just right out of town and so peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Small cabin in the woods for a peaceful weekend getaway. Close to breweries & wineries. Kitchen was perfect for quick coffee & breakfast in AM. We enjoyed sitting by fire pit with some wine. Would’ve loved a dresser or armoire to unpack clothes, but not a huge deal for a short trip. Also, we stayed in and played cards one night. Maybe some other games? Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!

The perfect picturesque tranquil airbnb. Host easy to reach and was very accommodating. All house items included with fully stocked kitchen ready to cook in upon arrival. ( only need to bring food ) one of our favorite parts was when we got to see the trout jump out of the water up a 6 across the little bridge to get to the deeper water. If you're looking for privacy, tranquility, and peace then this is your place!

I loved my stay in this spacious "tiny house," which is actually quite roomy! It had a modern feel, was really clean and well decorated, and I had everything I needed in the kitchen and bathroom, so well stocked. Laura had a great laminated list of local restaurants and all instructions were very clear. I'd stay again!

Angelica is an excellent host, very clear with communications and quick to respond to questions. The space was perfect, well equipped, clean and comfortable. There’s a lot of love scattered throughout the space with snacks, drinks, pet treats and other little essentials. We will stay here again….

Perfect location Thoughtfully designed and outfitted home. Amazingly comfy memory foam bed. Very functional space. Location perfect : walk ability to downtown/mall and also to the University. Multiple Excellent restaurants within a short walk.

We were on a getaway from our kids and wanted something private. We started off with great communication from our host. When we arrived, the little apartment over the garage was cute, clean, and a perfect distance from the main house. There was everything we could need and more. I loved having the coffee maker and tea pot. He even had water bottles, toiletries, and wine! Personal size fridge to keep a few assorted things. A nice table for sitting and eating. There were lots of windows and our own air unit we controlled with a remote. We were right next to this delicious breakfast place, and about a 15 min walk to the East Falls Church metro station. We will stay here again as the convenient location, and great host.

I was in town for a month for less than pleasant reasons, but having this space to come home to and relax every night was a blessing. The host was very communicative and made checking in a breeze. Very comfy bed!

We love staying at A Place of Peace. We’ve been staying here whenever we visit our family for the past six years. We feel so lucky when APOP is available. Mike and Kat are wonderful, friendly hosts. The space is beautifully decorated, the bed is very comfortable, the screen porch is so relaxing, and everything is perfect for us. It feels like our home away from home. We only wish we could visit more often!

Gail’s property is beautiful! Located in the country, but just a Frog Jump away from Charlottesville. You are surrounded by trees and deer. And pond too. Very relaxing and comfortable. I found the cottage to be clean and well maintained. Everything works. The purpose built cottage was modern with updated plumbing, electrical fixtures, etc. The cottage looked as if it was new construction. The interior was nicely decorated. The place has everything you need. Gail was a wonderful host. She thinks of everything. I look forward to staying again.

This stay is everything you'd expect it to be! My 2 year old absolutely loved looking out at the horses and meeting the pups on the property. The place was very comfortable and clean and close to a lot of amenities. The host was very, very friendly and even let us watch a polo lesson! I would absolutely recommend this stay!
