A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay in Robin's cabin. Check-in was easy, with Robin greeting us and showing us where to park. Our stay was in April and the heater kept the cabin cozy all night. There were plenty of blankets as well. It was great being unplugged for the weekend and we slept well. The bathroom is a quick walk up to the house. While we didn't get to spend much time at the farm during the day, the stars and spring peepers were treats to experience at night. Overall a great stay!

The Hummingbird Yurt was everything we expected. Beautiful location, so peaceful, and just a short drive to all of the hiking we had planned for our long weekend. My daughter and I found everything to be as described. There is a local movie theater and ice cream shop I highly recommend seeing and a small local cafe that is adorable and the food is great! Also, a couple of local wineries and a brewery that are also very quaint and nice to visit. Annette was very responsive to all of my questions and we found the yurt to be quite comfortable. It was warm during the day, but as explained, it cools down very nicely in the evening.

The house was exactly as described. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It is a very quiet area and the host stayed in contact to be sure everything went as planned. Will definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

My man and I had a wonderful time having a quiet and private weekend getaway. The place is so cozy and the hosts are so welcoming. It’s a beautiful view off the back porch. One of the highlights of my weekend was getting to spend time with Bilbo the cat. He was so snuggly and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived! Would love to come back here again!

This was an awesome experience. Came up for just a night and the hosts were super kind, helping set up a fire. The cabin is small and super cute — and it stays warm! Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. We plan to return soon :)

We’re an annual guest at Jaemey’s house and the house meets/exceeds expectations every year. The house and trails on the property are well maintained, it’s perfect for our family of four. It’s easy to get to other trails as well as everything on 151. We can’t wait to come back.

The hottub was a major plus because we could just relax! My husband said he slept better on the bed up in the loft than he does at home!!! Jordan was super responsive and helpful. Thanks again!

The cabin is such a special place! It was very clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was so relaxing and we loved hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway! John and Rachel were so helpful with helping us find a place for dinner. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants a relaxing trip to the mountains!

Beautiful cabin in a well marked area with lots of privacy and outdoor space. Close to Shenandoah for hiking and a short drive from great local restaurants and attractions. Very clean and great porch space. Loved staying here!!

Perfect cabin — wish could’ve stayed longer. History buffs should take a walk past the old post office and see the church and cemetery.

We loved staying at the meadow cottage. The views were spectacular, the wildlife were fun to observe, the farm fresh eggs every morning was a great way to start the morning. The farm is also close to a lot of things like hiking trails, restaurants, grocery stores. We live in the DC area, so Zachary’s farm is only a couple hours away. It’s a perfect getaway and we’re already trying to figure out when to get back!

The Overlook was great! My wife and I went to get away for the weekend and enjoy some hiking in the area (Swallow Falls Canyon Trail is a must if you are in the area) and it was the perfect spot!

It was amazing the craftsmanship that had gone into building these hobbit’s homes. It was a great experience for our grandsons and ourselves. Our host went above and beyond for our stay.

Brian was super communicative throughout the whole process. We had an amazing time. The place is absolutely stunning and the drive there was breathtaking! It was so hard to come home afterwards- we did not want to leave.

Excellent stay at a wonderful, secluded oasis. Even with the seclusion, Middleburg is just a stone’s throw away. The host was very responsive. Bring a fishing pole or two!

We absolutely loved this little nest! We are history buffs and this was the perfect location for all of it! DC, Gettysburg, Harper’s Ferry, Antietam…just choose your adventure for the day. They are all close enough for a drive. The place itself is stocked with everything you could possibly need. They literally thought of it all. We took the recommendation to grab lunch at Vino9 one afternoon, don’t let the sign fool you, the pulled pork was fantastic! Donnie gave clear instructions and was very responsive. We are already looking at the other locations to see where to plan our next adventure.

Amazing to interact with so many animals! They are doing incredible work here helping all the animals, and they were super supportive of us interacting within their guidelines.

We stayed in the Hob over the weekend. It was rustic, but clean and cozy. It was close enough to restaurants, and there is plenty to do in the area. They recommended Pine Lodge for steak and it was delicious! Very kind hosts and enjoyable to talk too, as well😊

A peaceful and secluded get away, that was exactly what we needed to escape our hectic lives. Remo’s place is absolutely beautiful. This place really allows you the space to be still and observe the stunning surrounds — while still being relatively close to activities should you feel so inclined. Remo was great at communicating and gave clear, concise directions for any question you might have had. Definitely recommend.

the most perfect “home away from home,” cozy getaway! we were so enchanted by the peaceful sound of the creek outside the dining room, perfectly curated decor and attention to detail that we are already thinking of when we would like to visit again! if you’re someone who loves houses with character/unique feel, and love the beauty of the outdoors, this is the place for you! i also want to mention that lucy is an incredibly sweet and thoughtful host, and that made an already amazing stay even better!
