We had a fabulous stay. The place is magnificient. Magnus gave us a lot of information about things to do, where to go etc. Inclusive of where Orca's where spotted, so on our first day we had the opportunity to see a group of Orca's in the bay nearby. What an experience! And If we had any question, he replied very fast. Highly recommended place to stay in Shetland!

Had a lovely four nights stay in Peerie Bugarth. The cottage was really cosy, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the views and the location was great for the local ferries. Debbie and Steve were brilliant! Thanks

A very spacious, discrete, comfortable and well equipped home, optimally placed to explore the full extent of the islands. The nearby CoOp and garage in Brae have all the supplies you need. Fresh mussels and scallops available daily from the shellfish farm across the bay. Amazing wildlife, including otters on the lawn. Nikita is a super host, very supportive with good ideas, such as where to spot Orcas. The nearby Brae hotel does good dinners. Thoroughly recommend staying as long as you can to enjoy a special place, people and wildlife in the British Isles. Thanks Nikita!

The Annexe in Lerwick is a great base for all kind of exploring around Shetland. Right in the city centre but on a quiet little lane everything one could need is within walking distance: a grocery store, shops, restaurants, bus stops. Finn was a great host, picking me up from the ferry terminal and dropping me off again. 👍🏼 The Annexe is equiped with eveything you need, especially the kitchen. The bathroom is small but fully functional. Some corners could use a touch up, but evetything was very clean.

A clean, comfortable property in a stunning quiet location - seemingly in the middle of nowhere but an easy 18 minute drive into Lerwick. The host was exceptional, providing a lovely welcome pack (including wine, bread, cheese, etc), fresh flowers and even offering to do some shopping on our arrival. Helpful advice was given regarding the Up Helly Aa, allowing us to fully participate, and she sent literature to us in advance. Easy parking, plentiful hot water and heating, and lots of towels! Highly recommended!

Peerie Neuk is a hidden gem surrounded by majestic lanscape of Unst. We loved the peacefulness of the outdoors and cosiness indoors which Peerie Neuk offered after long walks along the coast and on the beach. Peerie Neuk was filled with lovely and carefully selected books, items from local artists and makers and cosy touches such as wool blankets and cushions. We used the wood stove too. We had everything we needed to keep us happy and kids loved to watch chickens being let out in the morning and evening. Warmest greetings to Melanie's Dad who looked after us during our stay. Nortaboot was an excellent calming place to finish off our Shetland Wool Week visit to the island, the scenic ocean view setting, the cozy & comfortable interior, and well appointed home met all of our needs beautifully. Once we figured out the busses (with great help from the host!) and thanks to the wonderful weather, the walk to the bus stop worked well for us (the time we had our luggage, we took a taxi!). Host Nicola was always helpful, encouraging, and hospitable, we felt very welcome at beautiful Nortaboot :)

I have rented many holiday cottages over the years, and sometimes the accommodation hasn’t been as good as I have thought it to be. Happily Hoy Cottage surpassed all my expectations by some margin! This cosy comfortable well equipped house with its outstanding views is within 10 minutes of Lerwick, handy for those trips to the shops and restaurants. Heather was the perfect host, friendly and very obliging. Shetland was a feast for our eyes, and brought joy to our hearts. We will be back!
