Shimowadamachi : locations de vacances

Mako is a super host. She is always responsive and friendly to us. Even took her time to reply my early and late message to help us have a better stay at her place. She also helped us call the local taxi which is a great help as we did not have the Japan phone number and did not really know Japanese. The trip was amazing in karuizawa and having a great host like Mako elevates the satisfaction.

全体的にとても素晴らしかったです。 常に掛け流しの内風呂、露天風呂は今回宿泊した3人ではもったいないと感じるくらい贅沢でくつろげました。 リビングのスペース、ソファなど、写真の方が大きく見えるとかではなく、むしろ実際の方が大きく感じました。 ソファは6人くらいはゆったり座れると思います。 暖炉も大きくて暖かく、火を見ているだけで癒され、ピザ窯での出来立てピザ、バーベキューも堪能できました。 今度は、姉家族も連れて再訪したいと思います。

ここを選んで残念だと感じる事は無いと思われます。 良い思い出を残せました。

滞在中は中軽井沢のスーパーつるやに買い物に行き、家族で夕食を作る事ができました。 ベッドルームも3部屋あり、とても快適な宿で、思い出深い旅行になりました。

Francisco, great host, instructions are very clear, the property is located away from the highway, peaceful and quiet. Stayed in November 2024, falls season and the surrounding area beautiful with autumn foliage. the woods with nature.

Good Airbnb close to station and relatively close to Tokyo. Hosts were nice and friendly. Everything was as advertised. Although the toilet paper fell off easily because the holder was too loose. Be careful when upstairs in the futon space, especially at night, as the ceiling is very low there.

**A Hidden Gem in Winter!** While this cottage is clearly a summer favorite, our winter stay was magical! The deck BBQ was a standout—grilling in the snowy surroundings was an unforgettable experience. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the warmth of the hosts and staff, made us feel so welcome. Don’t overlook this place in the colder months—it’s a true winter retreat! ❄️🍖🏡

I almost don’t want to publish this review for the fear that this place will not be available if the word gets out. This place is perfect. Host was very polite and professional. House was immaculate. Host had the heat turned prior to our arrival. Everything was in perfect condition. We didn’t walk around but it’s in a good location. 4 minutes from Ski resort. I have no negatives to say about this stay.
