Shizukuishi, Iwate District : locations de vacances

I wanted a rural and rustic winter experience in Akita and this place delivered everything I'd hoped for. It is a gorgeous and secluded spot that's a good bit away from everything but not too far. Nozomi and his family were kind and gracious hosts. I was sad to leave.

We stayed two nights here and enjoyed it so much. The room was very comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. ANA lost our luggage and the staff of CAMOSIBA coordinated with them on our behalf to have it delivered at the hostel, which we appreciated beyond words. The breakfast at the hostel was also very delicious— I really recommend it. The heater worked great for the cold nights we stayed there, and the owner gave us great recommendations on food in the area— there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance and also very close to the station. I would absolutely stay here again!

お手頃価格でゆっくりと過ごすことができ、非常に満足です。 秋田中心部からは遠いですが、周りは自然豊かで良い環境でした。 写真で見ていたよりも綺麗で、清潔感がありました。 ホストの佐藤さんもとても親切にしていただき、ありがとうございました。

Thank you very much. The host is very nice and hospitally. The house is clean and with super modern design. We had very wonderful time in this house. And the dog and cat also cute, my son likes them so much.

ひろあん was truly a wonderful host who went above and beyond any expectation I could’ve set for my visit to Akita. He picked me up from Akita station more than once during my stay and he felt like visiting a friend you haven’t seen for some time. Our first night he immediately made you feel at home where he shared some of his sake collection and we enjoyed karaoke with him and his roommate. His English was also very good too and he was very friendly in letting me practice my low level in Japanese! The next day Hiro drove me to one of his favorite spots for breakfast and then to Senshu park when I wanted to visit the nearby castle as well as back home and for dinner we shared a great night talking at an izakaya. Then our final day together I needed to leave to the train at noon and he was able to drive us to the mountains beforehand for a small day trip to his favorite Onsen. For a short visit was able to do/see so much with Hiro’s help so would love to be able to connect again. Thank you!

Koh was an amazing host. He was very helpful with how to best use the house. The house was very clean and comfortable!

This is a beautiful place for skiers, hiking, and exploring the region. Mr. Akira rents snowshoes and is able to provide you with diner and breakfast if you book this ahead. Otherwise, you should be sure to bring food with you as there are not a lot of restaurants close by; and be aware that the shopping a good 15 to 20 minutes away.
