Perfect place to stay if visiting Shoal bay. Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely clean apartment with a beautiful balcony. Great host, responsive to messages very helpful, would recommend this apartment.

Linda is a person with a heart of gold. The kind of experience that defines humanity still exists. Myself and my family migrated from India to Australia and we were not getting a home for rent and that is why we decided to take Linda’s Airbnb. She also gave us a few tips and was also gracious enough to extend our stay until we could sustain ourselves. There is everything you need at Linda’s place and the outside views are amazing.Thanks for everything and may we meet again.

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary at Chris’ place with our children & grandchildren. Whispering Sands is idyllically located with superb views from every vantage point to the sun, sand & water. The house itself allowed for all of us & it really did offer so many extras with a pool table, paddle boards & beach towels included. We were able to walk to various coffee shops & enjoy the suburb of Corlette. Andrea met us at the house & was extremely welcoming & gave us a guided tour around the house ensuring that we felt at home. Thank you Chris for providing a spectacular house on AirB&B. We were warmly welcomed by Andrea and provided an orientation of the house and gardens - which is rare and was appreciated. Andrea provided local restaurant, cafe, coffee and providore recommendations - although I cooked every night in the wonderfully stocked kitchen (with the breeze and view). The house was very clean and tidy. Many thoughtful touches (inclusions) made it special. The house is in a wonderful raised position, with beautiful views and the beach is private and easily accessible via a gate. The house has level access from the road to ground floor / entrance. The whole stay was extremely enjoyable and relaxing. I utilised many of Andrea’s recommendations. Gus (our dog) loved the amenities that were specially for him. He also loved having the beach to himself and the fully secured yard/s (front and rear) reduced my anxiety. Mostly he was happy to sit in the sun / shade on the deck sniffing the breeze watching the world go by. Thank you to the 55 team. Gary + Gus

We had a wonderful time , it was very peaceful and relaxing. The position of the place was incredible, the ocean at our doorstep and our own private rock jetty with lots of fish to catch and we even were greeted at the jetty by a turtle. This gate at the top was a little tight, especially for a 4x4 we just squeezed through, perhaps making the gate a little wider would be easier for some. This is a place I will most definitely return too. Thank you Prue who was a great host.

Lyn's place was lovely, it was in a great location with the ferry close to travel to Newcastle. The house was very tidy with great amenities, kitchen, BBQ & beds. Lyn offered us local information & was very accommodating with anything that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something in this area.
