Diana was attentive and always immediately responsive throughout our pre-visit dialogue. She was there to meet us on our arrival, with a lively and engaging welcome. Diana was fascinating to talk to and the charming furnishings in her lovely home have touches of her adventurous experience abroad. We were grateful to sit for a while in the spectacular, abundant grounds, free to admire the peace and tranquility. It is clear that a great deal of thought has gone into setting up Diana’s AirB&B provision and arrangements. Very clearly she talked us through all we needed to know and then allowed us freedom to enjoy it. The bed was particularly comfortable and made up with sumptuous bedding. We are left with rich memories of the outstanding and distinctive charm of the place and of Diana’s reassuring capability in her role hosting us so very well.

I booked this on behalf of my mother who actually stayed. She could not fault Catherine and her hospitality. 5*s all round! Great welcome, spotlessly clean house and room and a delicious dinner. Catherine went above and beyond to ensure my mother was super comfortable. Really great place to stay!!

We were attending a wedding at the Mill Barns wedding venue. Karen’s B&B was fantastic and they were incredible hosts. Great communication. If you are attending a wedding at this venue you will need to pre book your taxis.

Lovely relaxing and peaceful surroundings, very homely atmosphere. Great Indian restaurant very close by.

Big THANK YOU to Polly, John, and your gorgeous dogs Misty and Spud for a wonderful 3 night stay, they were walm and welcoming and put on lovely breakfast each morning. The rooms were large, clean and decorated with vintage pieces. The home was full of wonderful unique picture's and pieces of art and it was so lovely to walk around and take it all in. The grounds are beautiful and the weather allowed us to take full advantage of the pool, which was fabulous. Very spacious room, with a lovely bathroom and handy kitchen access too. Suzanne was very welcoming and had lots of nice touches around the place and it felt very comfortable and homely. Just a short walk from the centre of Church Stretton and all the main activities.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Heather and Dave's place. Heather is a truly exceptional host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome. Dave was also incredibly friendly and hospitable. The delicious breakfasts she prepared, with Dave's help, were a highlight of my trip.😀 As a retired chef and artist, Heather has created a truly unique and inviting space. If you're looking for a calm and homely atmosphere, I highly recommend staying here. 👍

Gayle and Mike were perfect hosts. They were very accommodating and we found the facilities and breakfast to be of top class quality. Highly recommend them.

We stayed in Llangollen from 18th to 22nd September. We had an amazing time and a lot of that had to do with our accommodation and hosts. Vanessa and Christoph couldn’t do enough for us, from a lovely breakfast each morning made to match our individual requirements and preferences, to expert advice about the local area that we took full advantage of. The house itself was exactly as advertised, very spacious with a particularly beautiful garden. Our room was cozy and we had 4 well rested days and nights thanks to the comfortable bed. The en suite bathroom had everything you’d need for 2 people and there was enough wardrobe and draw space for our clothing and items. If you are planning on staying in the Llangollen area, I would very much recommend Vanessa’s home based on our experience, which was more than worth the price.

What can I say I suspect not enough words to explain how Good Maggie and Andy are as hosts, the accommodation was excellent , arriving was easy and Maggie greeted us and showed us around the accommodation and how lovely it is , the breakfast was just so spot on plenty to eat and set us up for the day , we popped up for a family bbq and Maggie insisted they drop us off and us to ring to be picked up , I can see why Maggie is a super host , I would say a super super host . We will return . Loved our two day stay .

We had a great stay at Lilla’s place, flexible check in we felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door, beautiful place to stay would highly recommend!

Plas Robin - Robin's Nest - is an immaculate peaceful retreat. Dark skies were astounding, and the hillsides around were full of variety and wildlife. The property is brand new and everything you would expect for a 5* stay. Delicious breakfast (optional) and a fridge to keep drinks cold as well as a selection of teas and a coffee machine. The bath was so lovely, I want one at home now!! So much to do within a few miles, and great walks too. Cannot recommend enough for a break away from it all, and Carol and David are the most attentive and friendly hosts you could ever meet. Perfect!

What a find! Wish I'd stayed with Susan instead of traipsing around for 2 days. Super friendly, super everything. Great to have a diy breakfast. Top dollar. xx

Super place to stay with a friendly welcome and great attentiveness to our comfort and needs. We had a warm and beautifully curated room, with the best bed. It ask felt like home from home. We appreciated the recommendation to eat at the Ragleth Inn in the evening. Plentiful continental breakfast with everything you could want to eat and drink in the cosy eating area. We would thoroughly recommend. Carol and Charles.

Really lovely, clean, beautifully decorated, and with lots of nice details...cereals, biscuits. Very peaceful. Comfy bed. I'd gladly have spent a few nights here and used it as a base for exploring the area. As it was, I was only visiting for one night but it was perfect for an overnight stay. Debbie was helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Recommend to others.

If there were more than five stars to give I’d happily do so! Julia and Tony aren’t your average Hosts, they are super dooper hosts! Our entire stay was absolutely lovely. From the home baked cookies we received on arrival, to the best bed and bedding we’ve ever slept in we can’t rate Stoneleigh highly enough! The house is beautiful and gloriously renovated; we were made to feel part of a very comfortable home. All of Julia and Tony’s recommendations on where to go and places to see, were perfect for us, we brought our road bikes and spent three days exploring the countryside. We ate like kings and enjoyed the whole experience. We’d recommend Stoneleigh and Julia, Tony and Love Dog to everyone!
