Shropshire : séjours à la ferme

A few friends and I visit this place twice a year to hangout and play some games on the enormous dining table. We've done this for a few years now and wouldn't look anywhere else. Everything is always really clean and tidy, the area is absolutely stunning and quiet and Paul is always great. Can't fault it.

We stayed at the Cottage for Christmas 2024 and had the most relaxing a brilliant time. The place is really spacious for our two kids. Twos to play with and space to run around. Tina is an excellent host. Everything is well organised and well stocked. She was also really thoughtful and kind in thinking of our 1 year olds birthday. I’ve stayed at many air bnbs but few can match the hospitality and thoughtfulness of this place!

The place was perfect for our family reunion! The kids loved the brook and outdoor space and the walk through the farm to the pub was great. Would stay here again.

Just back from a 3 night stay at the cottage and it was perfect for our family. The cottage was so warm and cosy. It had everything we needed and was a home away from home. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings on a farm. Would definitely 100% recommend to anyone.

What an amazing little place, great location, loads of lovely walks nearby. Lucy met us upon arrival and kindly showed us around including some local sites. The place is relatively newly done with great facilities. The en-suites were superb and the bed and the matresses were excellent meaning we all got a great nights sleep after all the walking. We will 100% return. Thanks

We had a wonderful time staying at the Owl Barn. The barn was comfortable and had everything we needed for our staycation. It is a beautiful place inside and out. Jon left lots of information and was on hand when we needed help with the heating. We can’t wait till we can come and stay again!

Absolutely stunning location. It was so nice to feel we didn’t need to travel miles to make the most of the area as it was all on our doorstep. Beautiful scenery, the sound of water coming down from the hills into the garden , bird song all day and deer running around in the adjacent field. Oh, and stunning night skies! Truly magical. Fiona was great in responding to a couple of enquiries we had to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We would love to return in a different season to see how the views change.

The barns are absolutely stunning with lovely views, and it's such a wonderful space for friends to gather. We had an amazing weekend, and the final touches added were perfect. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Holme Barn was peaceful and perfect. Beautiful surroundings very close to St Antony’s well which was clean and well worth a visit (have a dip!) it’s much bigger in real life. Friendly locals, picturesque scenery right in the middle of the forest. Inside the barn it’s well thought out with touch buttons for lights and surround sound tv next to a cosy fire. The furnishings were wood and wholesome and the bed super comfy too! Bird song and wildlife to spot in the private garden. Take your bikes and have an adventure or Less than 20mins drive to Simmons Yat rock and Puzzle wood Would definitely stay here again thank you Louise

We had a brilliant few days away! If you are looking for tranquillity, peace and quiet in an idyllic setting, you will not be disappointed. The Barn overlooked the pond, so we spent some time bird watching as we sat out on the decking during breakfast and in the evening. We stayed in The Barn, there is also The Leat next door, which we would consider, if you wanted to take additional family members. The property had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. This was the perfect location for sightseeing the surrounding area. Natalie, the host, ensured that our stay at The Barn went smoothly before and on arrival with information regarding check-in and check-out. This was a holiday break for my elderly mother-in-law, myself & my wife. We needed everything on one level with separate bedrooms/bathrooms/showers, this property met those needs. Thank you Natalie for an amazing time at this stunning property and for looking after us.

Loved everything about our stay here, it exceeded our expectations and as others have said it’s much bigger than we were anticipating. Very clean, great communication. Would highly recommend

My family and I are regular visitors to Alton towers to attend the running weekend and would usually stay in one of the resorts hotels. We were unable to book a room this time around but I am glad this was the case. Jenny's accommodation turned out to be a much better alternative. The place was immaculately clean, easy to find, peaceful and spacecious for my family of 3. Jenny was a very friendly host and we hope to stay here again next year.

This was a great find. We wanted a winter getaway with our dogs and this delivered. It is a beautiful and quirky space whilst being very well appointed with a gorgeous log burner. The hosts couldn't be more helpful. A wonderful relaxing few days.

We had such an amazing time here. The location and the views are breathtaking. The Byre was so cosy and warm and had everything we needed. Sam and Neil were both lovely and introduced us to some of their sheep and just born baby lambs! Such a unique stay. Loved it, will recommend and will hopefully revisit!

We absolutely loved this Airbnb! The interior is stunning and feels very homely. The wood burner was a real treat, the bed was comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the decor throughout is beautiful. We were visited a few times by Flossie the cat, which we very much enjoyed. Amy was a great host. She gave us absolutely loads of recommendations, tailored to us and the fact we don't drink but like cake and bakeries. She checked in on us via message during our stay, which we appreciated. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, and might even go back ourselves!

Every little detail in the cottage has been so thoughtfully considered, from the small personal touches to the wonderful recommendations that made our trip even better. The cottage itself is absolutely stunning, full of charm, beautifully maintained and spotless. You can tell how much love and care Emma puts into ensuring her guests have the perfect stay. Would highly recommend this accommodation if you are in the Matlock area. The barn was beautifully presented, loved that the “kitchen and sitting room” were upstairs. It meant we could make the most of the stunning views into the valley below, while eating and chilling. Lulu and Ed were super friendly. We had a lovely relaxing time staying here, would definitely come back.

My huso and I truly enjoyed our stay in the Old Barn House. The place is beautiful, and cosy. The hosts are friendly and even welcomed us with a very nice Apple Crumble cake, orange juice and milk which is always nice to find. The bed is comfy, looking at the cows and birds chirping from the upstairs window was one of my favourite things. We also loved the chimney and the fact we had a couple of hiking trails a couple of steps away from the barn.

Very easy to find. Long bumpy farm track but vehicles didn't have any issues. The barn was lovely, private and peaceful with enclosed gardens and hot tub. Very spacious inside with all amenities you would need. The bath was the biggest bath I've ever seen ! Shower and toilet down stairs in a huge utility. Met Lynsey who was superfriendly and very helpful. Booked in at another one of their properties on same site in a few weeks. Lots of places to walk in beautiful surroundings .

Fantastic place to stay, lovely and cosy with the log burner and nice Christmas decorations. Fantastically equipped kitchen and with bathroom/shower and a bathtub too! Location is great for walks. Pam was very communicative and made everything hassle-free. Highly recommended!

The property is in a quiet location on a working organic farm surrounded by beautiful countryside. Locally there are a number of picturesque villages, places to visit and country pubs. The property is clean and comfortable. Karen and Jonathan couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel at home. Many thanks to Karen and Jonathan and hopefully we will be able to stay again. The cottage was ideal for our family of four. Well laid out and more spacious than it appears from the photos. Parking directly outside. Great location to explore Cheshire.

A beautiful place with an amazing setting and everything you could possibly need would definitely stay again 😊
