This home was exactly as described. It’s in a quiet street a walkable distance to great restaurants. Very original setting. Within a home environment.

Beautiful home with everything you would need it felt really comfortable all amenities were spotlessly clean and beds firm but slept very well. Have stayed in the this location previously and we hired a car but it can be a struggle when getting a tuk tuk or red bus home at night so always used grab who gave a door to door service. Lovely neighbourhood with lots of beautiful friendly cats who always said hello would definitely recommend.

The accommodation is quiet and peaceful. The house is large and spacious, but it’s quite far from tourist attractions. The entrance to the alley is a bit deep. If distance isn’t an issue, this is definitely a place worth staying. The owner responds quickly.

Really lovely stay in a great relaxing area of Chang Mai. If you are looking for a quiet place that allows you to explore the beautiful area and meet some nice locals then this is the spot. If you decide to chill and enjoy a day at home then this is a very inviting place that allows you to feel very at home. Couldn’t recommend the place more and the host Michael and his wife were extremely helpful and lovely people!

Tolani's place was perfect for our large group to all stay in one compound. street food started just around the corner and easy to hail a tuktuk or taxi from the main road. Ying the maid kept everything fresh and clean during the day and did a great job. would stay here again if I came back to Chiang Mai with a large group

If you are looking for a peaceful,private and beautiful place away from Chiangmai ,this is it. 20 to 30 minute drive from city centre( white public taxis 20 Bhat per person and until 6pm, every 5 or 10 minutes from near the stay and back from the city at Thamel Coffee) This is probably a 5 minute drive from the nearest town center which has supermarkets, an evening market, spas, cafes and shops. The only con was there were mosquitoes in the area and it is not for people who are looking to party or tourist attractions, this is more for just enjoying the nature and local life. The place is very calm, has beautiful surroundings, a pretty stream, an adorable Maximus the pet dog and a very sweet host couple! They made our stay very special and helped us out when we needed! The cottage has a lot of space, and all things you would need for a good stay including washer, kitchen stuff, pool, A/C and other necessities.

The Cyngam Resort is a truly unique place to stay and experience the delights of Chiang Mai. Whilst it’s in a pretty rural setting it’s still only 20 mins via Grab taxi and a 25 minute walk to local restaurants and shops. I’d describe the accommodation as ‘shabby chic’ full of rustic charm and character. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable although we did experience some noises in a couple of the bedrooms from the pool filter. We also experienced recurring problems with the hot water to the showers although the fantastic Aor and her team did their very best to resolve the problems as best they could. In fact, the biggest positive of the resort was the friendliness of the staff and the hospitality and support given during our stay and also via prompt communication before our arrival in helping us to plan our week. I would definitely recommend Cyngam for those looking for a unique way to stay in Chiang Mai

We stayed at Carsten's place for three nights to get away from the busy city and it was an incredible experience. The house is really well built, it stayed cool even during the day without aircon, it has a well appointed kitchen and loads of space. On one side of the house is a private patio which borders a rice field, a great place to sit and relax or get some sun. The bed was comfortable enough and the two bathrooms really spacious and work well. Carsten has a scooter you can use if you have the necessary paperwork and we used this to go to the shops etc. There isn't much within walking distance so it's best to have transport. Carsten is really responsive and we appreciated his friendly introduction and offer to help whilst we were there. To summarise, a great place to relax away from the city or maybe to stay longer term and work from if you're able. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience. House comes with a cleaner and you get beers and water frequently refilled for free. Also if you want a tour they can arrange it for you with good vans and drivers. As mentioned by others it is about 30 minutes away from Chiang Mai Old Town, but you can get there with Grab Taxi’s. Also I was expecting a more jungle like experience but the villa is next to a busy road with a lot of noise in the morning. You can hear planes landing also. Finalky, the house smells damp and can use a little upgrade / attention to detail. However, it was a really big lovely place, we have had great advise and there is a very nice local place called Namthoeng Cafe nearby. In the afternoon we loved to just hang out near the pool, all quiet. So yes it’s a five star experience!

I highly recommend this place. The host is really nice and helpful. She helped us for the transport from and back to the airport. The breakfasts were excellent and I recommend taking the BBQ. One of our best meal experience in Thaïland.

We loved our stay here! I traveled solo with my 3 boys, ages 8, 12, and 13 and we all enjoyed this place. It's very well cared for and everyone is very attentive and kind, always smiling and welcoming. Check in was a breeze. We used the laundry machines provided for a very small fee. The air conditioning works great and the bathroom is divine. We walked each morning to the coffee shop at the end of the road... nothing to write home about but very convenient. There's a friendly cat and bunny that come and go. The gardens are very well cared for and very safe. The location requires the use of a Grab or taxi but it's easy for them to find. If traveling with a big group it'd be worthwhile and doable to rent out more listings on the premises! We loved this place and would happily go back again. We didn't utilize the kitchen so I don't have any feedback on how functional it is.

Wir waren für 1 Monat in dieser Unterkunft. Im Großen und Ganzen hat uns alles gefallen. Rapee ist ein sehr sympatischer und netter Gastgeber. Die Dinge (Bügeleisen, Staubsauger etc), die uns gefehlt haben, hat Rapee uns sofort besorgt. Er war auch in anderen Sachen uns behilflich (medizinische Beratung). Das Einzige, was wir sehr vermisst haben waren die Moskito-Netze an den Fenster. Danke und alles Gute!

Cozy, Convenient, and Peaceful Stay I had the opportunity to stay here, and I must say I was truly impressed! The house is lovely and cozy, located in an incredibly convenient spot. There’s a 7-Eleven right at the entrance of the village and a Lotus within walking distance, making it super easy to buy fresh groceries without any hassle. The house itself features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, providing plenty of space and comfort. It also comes with both a Thai and a Western kitchen, perfect for those who enjoy cooking in different styles. What makes this place even more special is the peaceful and quiet environment around the village, making it ideal for relaxation. On top of that, the host is incredibly kind and always willing to help, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. I truly loved my time here and will definitely come back again!

Superbe rooftop où nos enfants se sont régalées! Très bien situé, proche de la vieille ville, d'un magnifique temple (wat molee), d'un très bon night market (porte nord). Un beau lieu pour visiter Chiang Mai et ses alentours. Les chambres sont propres et la grande terrasse est très bien amanagée, on oublie qu'on est dans le centre-ville. Très bonne communication avec l'hôte. Nous recommandons ce logement!!!

I had a wonderful stay at this House! The host is warm, friendly and very helpful. The house is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. It has great amenities like a washing machine and microwave, making my stay even more convenient. The location is close to Chiang Mai Old City, making it easy to explore. I truly enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended!

Nutpusson is a spectacular hostess. We'd give her six stars for a review if we could. She went out of her way to anticipate all our needs and responded to any requests right away and was super helpful. The area is great, with a wonderful local market just five minutes away, and it's very walkable to other nearby markets and the Old Town. David

Wir waren sehr zufrieden hier. Um in das Zimmer zu gelangen steigt man 3 Stockwerke hoch, teils durch die Hauswirtschaftsräume des Mandala Centers. Die Treppe endet in einem großen Flur. Das ist der Aufenthaltsraum. Hier kann man nicht abschließen. Hier steht der Fernseher und der Kühlschrank. Von dort kommt man auch in ein sauberes Bad. Das Schlafzimmer betritt man auch von hier, es hat ein normales Schloss und man kann zusperren. Beide Klimaanlagen funktionierten. Für den Fernseher fanden wir keine Fernbedienung. Im Kühlschrank war stets frisches Wasser und oft frische Früchte. Danke. Wir waren zufrieden.
