Great house out in the country. A little bit of a drive to Truckee for skiing but overall not bad and it was very quiet.

Great place. Lots of space and wonderful deck with good views. Driveway is steep and a bit challenging for big vehicles.

Ben's house was amazing to stay at. The house exceeded all of our expectations. It was extremely comfortable, had great amenities and thoughtful touches (board games, more than enough dishes, an ice machine). The actual house I think was even better than described. More beds than listed--one of the rooms was a loft above the garage with its own living room and bathroom. This was excellent for our group so that one couple could get some extra peace and privacy while not being at a separate house. Highly recommend staying here!

Tobias could not have been more helpful! I was not too familiar with the area and he really took me by the hand and gave me all the advice and support I needed. I felt well taken care of.

From the initial booking, to check in and check out, Michael was extremely responsive and very clear in setting expectations. His place is very well appointed! Looking forward to another visit!

Beautiful home and views! Came here for a family wedding. The town is very small and not many things are open at this time of year but the home itself was well-equipped with the kitchen essentials etc. We had a fun time roasting marshmallows outside under the stars!

Great for mountain bikers, close to dorm and easy to get back once you’re ride is over and you have dropped your legs in the cold river.

Perfect spot - we hit up Sierra Hot Springs one day and hiked near Graeagle the other. Cute, quiet neighborhood and the stars at night were unreal.

Can't recommend an airbnb more! The location was stunning, and peaceful; a great place to relax after a long day of hiking. The cabin was super cozy and well supplied for self sufficiency if you want to stay in and cook a nice meal. Also the hosts were both very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommending to my friends and family.

This was the third time I've stayed at one of Brendan and Megan's Valley House units, and like the last times my expectations were fully met. I've stayed in both units (I particularly like Unit 1, but both are nice!), and they were fully stocked with everything I'd need. And in the past, when I once needed some assistance from Brendan, he was extremely responsive and everything was taken care of quickly. I love the small town of Sierraville as well as the various parts of Sierra Valley and neighboring communities. Truckee is an easy drive away, and I find staying in Sierraville provides a wonderful "getaway" from the hustle and bustle of Truckee that can happen during the high season in Summer. I highly recommend The Valley House, with it's wonderful hosts!! The only very minor suggestion I would make is to provide a larger bathmat next to the shower; the current one is quite small, and something twice as large would be perfect! That said, I absolutely love the shower!

Second time I've stayed here, and I would go back again! It's a beautiful, scenic location on a quiet mountain road. Shawn-Paul is always very responsive and helpful. I've been going to Graeagle for years, and this is the hottest summer there I remember. Without AC, it did get a little warm inside, but the ceiling fans and all the portable fans left by the host definitely helped, as did cracking the windows when it cooled down at night. Overall a great getaway!

Wow is all I can say. My family loved this house. Energy was so good and the king bed in the master was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The bar was fun to sit and talk with our drinks. Deck and carpet were brand new. Kitchen appliances were new and easy to use. Well appointed kitchen too. Loved the kitchen faucet and master bathroom faucets. The house had a very cool seating area in the hallway I ended up reading a book for the first time in forever. This house will be our yearly family Graeagle tradition. My wife kept saying how good it felt to be in the house. An amazing experience.

This rustic cabin was clean and peaceful. The setting is beautiful, among the pine trees. The bed was quite comfortable, which is important to us. Plenty of seating in the living area was appreciated when we had guests join us to visit. Anna responded to my questions very quickly. A nice place to stay!

We needed an off-the-grid cabin and this was THE perfect option. Nice and comfy/cozy and the perfect location for Sierra Valley and the Gold Lakes. So welcoming to have a warm and safe spot to retire too after a day of travel or a long day of adventure. EXACTLY what we were looking for.

My soon to be girlfriend and I had the opportunity of staying at Constellation Creek (Arrow Cabin) and were absolutely amazed by the level of hospitality we received. (shoutout to Indiana at check-in, she was amazing). The cabin was very cute and quaint. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating arrangement that featured very aesthetically pleasing string lighting. Overall 11/10. Host is very responsive as well. Will definitely return.

Was a perfect place for our golf group. We had a great time and Walt was an exceptional communicator and host. Cant wait to go back next year!

Awesome place to ride out a late season storm! Easy access to truckee and the surrounding resorts, I will definitely return in the future if welcome!

We went up with a family of 8, 6 adults and 2 children. The home was incredibly clean, location was easy to find, check in and out was very simple and easy. The neighborhood is incredibly clean, quiet, and relaxing. Brooke was incredibly nice and responsive to anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.

Our extended family stayed through the Christmas holidays. The space was perfect for our multiage group to have together and private time. The kitchen was very well set up and easy for multiple cooks to work together. Our hostess was incredibly thoughtful going extra miles to do things like get us a permit so we could cut a tree on the national forest, decorating the house beautifully, and leaving wonderful gifts for the children. The house is packed with family games and puzzles and a has hot tub. The forest setting is beautiful and quiet. I can't recommend this place more highly for family or friend groups to enjoy some time together.

This house was perfect for our mid-winter getaway. Some of our family members did work-from-home and online meetings - and the internet was great - which was amazing considering the forest location. The layout of the house provides a tremendous amount of privacy in each of the four bedrooms. The house was in a beautiful quiet setting - an easy stroll to the Graeagle store and coffee shop. The kitchen was very large and well stocked. I loved that coffee was provided. The house was clean, there were plenty of towels and thoughtful supplies. The hot tub was glorious, especially on snowy days. We were able to bring our dogs, and the fenced backyard was a wonderful surprise. The house was nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Our host reached out to us after one of the snowier days to inquire if we would need snow removal, which was thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider a return visit.
