Michael and his staff were very accommodating to our needs. Everyone was friendly and our room was very comfortable and peaceful. They have a restaurant attached with great food. It is very easy to access transportation from this location. The US Embassy is close Michael’s place,.We were able to hop on a bike and make it there within minutes. B-Mart is a great value for the money with steady hot water, a back up generator, and consistent Wi-Fi . We will definitely book again if we are ever on this side of town and given the opportunity.

Ann-Marie was very helpful and communicative and her staff (Sorie and Emma) were super friendly, helpful, and easily accessible. The location was good for us on Spur road. It was easy to get Kekes. And the property was overall quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, there was a power problem in that area of Freetown during our trip, which affected some of the appliances/ A/C effectiveness, but this wasn’t Ann-Marie’s fault or in her control. So, it’s good to be aware of that any time someone is traveling to Freetown.

I am very happy that I stayed at Mr. Sewanus house during the 6 weeks I was in Freetown! The location is great (close to everything), the room was nice and comfy and I also enjoyed very much sitting on the balcony after work and watching the busy street life. Mr. Sewanus assistant Sahr is incredibly kind, polite and helpful. The room was cleaned very regularly which was very nice and unexpected. It´s also always nice and interesting to having a chat with changing guests in the house. However, mostly I am thankful for Mr. Sewanus great hospitality and helpfulness in any kind of situation. I will be back, thanks very much for everything!

This was my second time staying at Tapsir and Hannah's family home while I was working in central Freetown. They are lovely people and accommodating hosts - always happy to answer any questions or just have a chat. The place is very centrally located and easy to get downtown. There is also always internet and water which was a bonus for me. I had a great stay and would recommend this place if you need to be in Freetown for work.

I really enjoyed my stay at Green Bamboo. Sewanu is easy to communicate with and very helpful as well as funny. The house is close to transport. Especially recommended for first time visitors to Freetown. I hope to be coming back soon.
