Sierra Nevada : séjours à la ferme

This is my second time staying at May's place and it is exactly as I remember it, breathtaking upon entrance. This time I brought my partner and she was blown away by the incredible experience. Most notably, sipping champagne in the spa, surrounded by trees, a rushing creek, singing birds, and the sun's rays painting the forest on the hill opposite us. Truly can't be beat.

Copper Lodge is a special place. Comfortable home, beautiful nature scenery, and great amenities - the home has everything you need! This was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first time, perhaps even better. We were lucky to be there in gorgeous spring weather which allowed us to enjoy being outdoors in nature (although the place would be just as beautiful in any season). Loved hearing the sound of birds in the morning, watching the sunsets from the barn cabin, and seeing the stars at night. Most of all, there is a short trail to the river which was spectacular! Thank you Natalie and Jon for being great hosts and sharing your beautiful home! So grateful for the time we had at Copper Lodge. Hope to return in the future!

Goats and sheep, our dogs thought it was neat! Beautiful area, comfortable inside for a relaxing trip. Perfect for traveling with multiple dogs and easy access to wineries.

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

Our stay was lovely! The space is as described and looked just like the photos, and based on the some of the previous feedback, we knew what to expect. Yes, it could use some decor/furnishing updates and a good solid top-to-bottom deep clean, but the perfect location/proximity to amenities and reasonable price makes it worth it. We would stay here again!

I came in March 9th, the area was green green green. So remarkably beautiful. I am so grateful for the peacefulness of the space, I was really able to drop in and just enjoy the area, there was gate access toa field behind the property where I was able to walk and watch the sunrises and sunsets. I was there for four days (I purchased an extra day because I was enjoying myself so much!) I did not leave but once to go get myself some food. The home was cozy, the bath was relaxing. The animals were sweet, the property was gorgeous. Everything I needed to decompress. My heart is so full! THANK YOU!

A great place to stay with lots of supplies. We especially loved the kitchen and location- how walkable it was to things to do. I loved walking to south shore in my free time or for coffee. The driveway was a bit narrow if you have a larger SUV, but you can still get in and out. It felt like a home away from home as there was evidence of family memories made there. The hosts were extremely responsive to any questions and we would definitely stay again.

This was our first time using Airbnb and our host, April, set the bar high! It was such a pleasant stay, and nothing could have been better. She is very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us. My son slept on the couch and it was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The views right out the front door are incredible and everything is a short drive or a little walk away. They have some beautiful trails to hike and bike right out from the driveway. If we make it back to Half Moon Bay, we will definitely be booking this again! Thank you for a great experience!

Excellent find in a great location!! Beautiful, eclectic decor, lots of little details, comfy bed, kitchen well-stocked with all the cooking utensils you might need, plus a bowl of snacks and beverages was included :) Great bagel place and restaurants within walking distance. Host was accommodating, efficient with communications, and did a great job of making the apartment feel warm, welcoming, and homey. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful holiday weekend at this ranch-style home! The property is not only well-equipped but also incredibly beautiful, especially in the evenings with the surrounding mandarin orchards. The home was spotless and thoughtfully designed, making it a truly relaxing getaway. Our daughters were entertained by the playground and loved exploring the property, discovering all the different plants and gardens growing around. It was such a great place for little ones to roam and enjoy nature. The host was extremely communicative and always available to offer assistance, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Everything about the stay felt welcoming and well-planned. We truly loved our time here, soaking in the peaceful scenery, and we hope to stay again in the future!

Perfect stay for our family of four! We all loved the loft and its beautiful surroundings. The loft was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. We’re already talking about coming back for another visit. My kids were obsessed with the basketball court and games. This was a great amenity and definitely swayed our decision on where to stay. We would have appreciated a baby gate at the top of the stairs for my very active 3 year old but made it work without. Other than that, 10/10.

Sarah’s place was the perfect home for a family weekend getaway! The details made me feel right at home and had a magical charm that made the home feel cozy and warm. It also had so many amenities (pool table, tons of board games, outdoor games, many areas for stargazing, fire pit) that we had plenty of options for spending time all together. Sarah’s home was also clean and everything was clearly labeled and easy to find. The guidebook and instructions were all clear and helpful. The area was peaceful and although restaurants and stores were far, there were still some options. Overall it was an amazing stay!!

Great place to stay. Host is so nice, communication is excellent, very friendly and making sure all is at the right place. Place is clean, original to stay at and worth every penny of it. I would definitely come back!

Great stay at the little red barn! Travis and Kathleen were responsive and great hosts. This place is a beautiful gem, and we were happy to be able to stay for the weekend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! The setting is perfect for anyone looking for peace and seclusion, with stunning mountains and breathtaking terrain surrounding the property. We loved the animals—especially the horse and the adorable pigs—they added such a special touch to the experience. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully designed with a cozy, stylish interior that made it feel like a true home away from home. A couple things to keep in mind: be ready to be off the grid, there’s spotty service and had no working Wi-Fi when we went, also the cabin did come with heaters in the rooms & a fire place but were still quite cold in a few of the rooms so be prepared with layers if you visit in the winter months like we did. That said, everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature!

The carriage house was so delightful. We loved the coziness, quietness and overall special place. We loved being able to have our dog join us. We walked everywhere and would come back to rest and read. It was a lovely place and Khristina gave us so many great ideas for coffee, lunch and dinner. We had a wonderful time. You cannot beat the location!

Tami was an amazing host and I’m glad we found the Cottonwood Barn before labor day weekend! Their place was immaculate and well taken care of. The interactions with the barn animals there led to an unforgettable experience. Do yourself a favor and consider this location for your next adventure! Thank you again!

What an amazing find. I don’t think I can say enough about this beautiful place. First, the property and the scenery were breathtakingly beautiful and so much attention to detail was put into this property and home, making it by far the best place we have ever stayed. Then you add in the fantastic hosts - Natalie and Glen and you have utter perfection. Natalie went above and beyond to help make our stay amazing. She delivered eggs and pastries to us for breakfast and was so helpful to us during our stay. I cannot say enough how great our stay was. Highly recommended. Five stars is not high enough. We will come back many times in the future.

Took the family to spend a weekend away and see Yosemite. Leslies home was perfect, we had a really great time. Plenty of space for the 7 of us, it could have definitely accommodated more without feeling crowded at all. The property is only about 20-30 minutes from Yosemite South entrance and 5-10 minutes from Oakhurst/Bass lake. Overall I will be keeping this property in mind for a return trip.

Roger’s place was wonderful! Very clean and had plenty of space for everything we needed. Unfortunately, we were here for work and weren’t able to enjoy all this place had to offer, but would love to come back again for a vacation! Roger was excellent with the communication and extremely flexible and helpful.

This place is a great find in Templeton. It is walkable to all the restaurants in town and we enjoyed concerts in the park and the local wineries. We were here for a week visiting family and it was so nice to have our own private space with a cute outdoor area. We will definitely stay here again!

What a lovely Winemakers Cottage!! Three of us enjoyed 2 nights when we came to Paso Robles to wine taste… Laura was so helpful with directions, etc.. always responded to our questions. We wished we could have stayed longer just to chill in the cottage! It is so well equipped and the beds so comfy!! We hope to return again when the weather is warm so we can enjoy a glass of wine on the deck!

Loved this space! Home was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Love that it’s in the countryside, which is very welcomed for this Phoenix gal! Nice break from the concrete jungle.
