My daughter and I take a trip to Newport every year for spring break. This was one of the most memorable. I’m from Newport so I’m well aware of what makes a great property and experience. Pam did not miss one detail. The bikes, beach gear, coolers, wagons, toys, and everything else she provided were SO NICE to have. Most Airbnb’s don’t go above and beyond with all the extras like she does and it was so appreciated. Thank you, Pam!

Frank's place is immaculate, neat, and well-organized, and it is a quaint space for a couple to stay. This was a last-minute booking, and it didn't disappoint. It is within walking distance to a few local places to eat. Please know that there is construction going on next door. Also, two nights there was a group outside fairly close that was playing music loudly and cutting up. Frank's place, luckily, is secluded, and the noise level gets drowned out. Frank offered suggestions in a binder of places to eat and included instructions for your stay. Frank was responsive when communicating and very courteous. My only suggestion would be to replace the mattress, as it is fairly thin and very firm. Overall, our stay was great; however, we did not stay in the rental much as we were out and about sightseeing all around California. We drove to several different cities each day and had a fantastic time. (To any future guest(s), if you find a diamond, I lost it out of my anniversary ring.)

Pam &Jimmy’s place was even better than expected. The location is perfect, very walkable, and very close to the beach. They have everything you need including bikes that really came in handy. As hosts, they go above and beyond to make the place as inviting as can be. I can’t rave about this place enough.

Janis’s place is very central to all that Newport Beach has to offer as well close enough to hop onto the 55N & get going all over OC or LA. A short right turn away puts you on the PCH & yet, this home overlooking the famed NB Canal streets is super quiet & picturesque. Parking is a challenge anywhere in the beach cities yet Janis was in constant touch with us in sharing her coveted parking garage spots which was in itself priceless to our stay. Very accommodating, Janis has proved to be a distinctly excellent host right through, whenever we needed any kind of info. or assistance. The place itself is lovely, central to coffee shops, the famed Lido Marina & Newport Pen. Located on the 2nd story corner bldg., the WFH desk is well placed to overlook the Canal & the home makes for a warm & comfortable stay right throughout. Clean furnishings & linens, comfortable beds & well laid out space of 2BR+2BA made for an amazing week long stay. We will love to return ! Thank you, Janis.

The problem was how to visit family in LA without hating the traffic. The solution was to rent this beautiful spacious 3-story 3-bedroom house, 10 minutes from LAX & less than a block from the beach, and invite family to visit us. Well-equipped kitchen if you want to cook; Door Dash for every imaginable ethnic takeout. The beds were very comfortable — living room couch & chairs less so. Bathrooms had lots of towels and TP but no kleenex. The roof deck has a great view of the ocean and was a quiet private place to hang out during the day. We definitely want to stay here again. A special note for older visitors: There are a lot of stairs — and you will want to visit all 3 stories. Also the knobs on the kitchen cabinets are too small to grab with your whole hand ; they require a good pincer grip.

Victoria was an amazing host! Very communicative and such a kind heart. The fires were happening in the north and our friends we were meeting at her house, came in a day earlier and were staying in another hotel close to fires. She offered them to come a day early to get away from the smoke!! Her house was south of fires, so we were OK here. She then offered us a late checkout as our flight wasn't until 8pm at night. This was so welcome as we have young children. She really went above and beyond! Her place is very homely and great to be close to the beach. Thank you for everything Victoria :)

This is a lovely neighborhood for walking and an easy 10 minute walk to the big beach. Hosts have house nicely stocked--coffee and tea in the kitchen and lots of towels for the bath. Updated kitchen and bath.
