We had a wonderful stay! The home was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway to reset. We loved the large sunroom and spent the vast majority of our time there. In the mornings we saw deer walking along the woods. There was a small table to enjoy coffee and food at in the sunroom. The house was spotless. Our kids loved the horses and getting to pet them. The groundskeeper, Ivy, was so friendly and kind. She shared a lot of stories about the horses and the history of the property. We loved walking the woods surrounding the house! Would highly recommend the home as a base to explore Fort Payne and Mentone. It was a wonderful deal, and I’m so happy we found this gem!

awesome place to vist. the little River canyon and DeSoto Park is a must see. definitely will be coming back. The cabin and the hot tub was just what we needed for a few days. stromed the second day but still found time to explore before and the cabin to relax after. thank you for such an amazing place to stay.

The house was perfect for what we needed. The beds were comfortable and the couch fit all of us comfortably for watching a movie. The game room was nice and the kids loved it. The deck was beautiful but rain and cold prevented us from enjoying it as much as we would have liked to. Angela was responsive and hospitable. There's a TV in all bedrooms, the living room and game room! I'd rent the house again and recommend to friends and family.

The Cabin in the Woods was the perfect get away. My friend was able to work on her writing project in peace and quiet, and I was able to relax on the deck with a book and computer games. Amy was so easy to communicate with and quickly responded to my questions; excellent directions and the property is easy to access. First time using Airbnb and this booking did not disappoint. I would book this location again with no hesitation.

Home has everything to make you feel cozy, welcome, frankly no need to leave. Beautiful, peaceful views. the pictures are accurate. Really Appreciated Lisa's prompt responses and making her home available to experience Ellijay for our anniversary. We enjoyed 2 vineyards near by, Buckley and Otts. shout out to Nancy suggested their campfire red blend from Buckleys . Followed by getting a delicious small pie at Ellijay Cold fire pizza for appetizer, then grilling out the perfect ribeye on the balcony. Relaxed in hot tub, and retired to a very comfy bed.

We loved this cabin. Kim is fabulous. I was looking to get a massage in the cabin. Kim found some recommendations for me immediately. My husband and I have never slept as good as we did on the mattress in the master bedroom. We had to ask the brand we want to buy one. The furniture is very comfortable outside and inside. The sheets are good not cheap. The kitchen is great and we cooked in every night. A nice Publix is right down the road. The screen porch with fire table and tv was just incredible. We are both in our 40s and had fun in the game room playing basketball, air hockey, and darts. We had a fabulous lunch at the clubhouse . Chicken salad was delicious. We highly recommend Garland Mtn Sporting Clays. They were so friendly and it was a fun course with hopping “rabbits” and clays bouncing off items. The deer at the cabin are so fun. We’ve never been that close to wild deer (alive) and they do eat from your hand. Rent this cabin!!

Alicia went over and beyond. This is the third time my family has spent approximately a week at this location. Without me telling them, they saw the ages of my children, and made sure there were pack and plays set up for the baby in two separate rooms. The house has a great location, and is cozy, you will feel right at home. My children love the spot and see it as a home away from home at this point. I have used AirBNBs for years, but will continue to use Alicia's spot. If you have children I highly encourage this location.
