This was our first Airbnb experience and it was awesome! The property was beautiful and serene. I would recommend bringing your own firewood unless you want to buy some off the side of the road like we did. I have this property saved and plan to return! Great and responsive hosts as well!

Celebrated our 40th bdays with 3 adult couples. Wonderful stay. Hot tub was hot and clean, ready to go when we got there. Everything was as described in the pictures. House was clean and we had no issues with self-check. Would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of lake. House was big enough that everyone had their own space, would be a great place to come back with the family.

Honestly, this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve been to. There also seemed to be a lot of thought put into the place because everything just made sense. 10/10 would stay again

Overall it was a pleasant stay. BUT… the initial address given was not the address of the house so we have to drive another 30 minutes to get to the house. The house was clean, rustic and ideal for us 3 people and a dog. We enjoyed the amenities especially the billiards and kayaks. Also our dog enjoyed running around the property.

This place is amazing! Water front, beautiful and so incredibly peaceful. The hot tub was clean and the perfect end to every night! Beds were incredibly comfortable - host was so responsive and kind - I would highly recommend and 100% plan to return!! Don’t question yourself and book this place for the perfect get away!! PS there’s puzzles - toys - a great projector. The puzzle board was amazing super fun activity for me and my girlfriends in the rainy cold days!

Kelly was a wonderful host! She was excellent at communication, very friendly, flexible with our check-out time, and made our stay so warm and welcoming. The hot tub overlooking the lake was so fun and a beautiful setting. I wish we had more time there so we could have taken the kayaks out or enjoyed a bonfire! We'll have to come back another time. :) The house is only a 15-min drive from Pentwater and Mears State Park, so it's perfect for shopping, finding restaurants, and hiking. This was a lovely little house on a small lake. Although the neighbor was close the fence helped it feel very private. We had a nice stay and it was very close to many hiking locations and places to get provisions in Greenville. The hot tub was very nice and the home was very clean. We loved having two bathrooms, which made it very convenient. We love to cook when we travel, and I would say the kitchen was fairly well stocked (7/10). The bed was very comfortable - a memory-foam-type. Very firm but we slept well. If only it was warmer and we could have used the kayaks and fire pit. But we did enjoy the hot tub every day. Wifi was fast too.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful and the house was very clean. The owner went above and beyond when I mentioned I couldn't find charcoal for the grill. They surprised us by dropping it off that day. What caring hosts! I was very impressed! They also had PLENTY of supplies for us (toilet paper, paper plates, detergent, hand soap, kleenex...etc) This isn't always the case with rental properties. My kids and I enjoyed the welcome snacks. They were fun surprises. The only thing I would mention is the shower is very small (as described in the property). I had a tough time shaving and brushing my hair in there. There is also no disposal or dishwasher. These were not listed in the amenities so this is no fault of the owner. It's just something I didn't think to look for in the property description. I will know to watch for it in the future.

Great place to stay, highly recommend! Have everything you could possibly need, super clean and host is very responsive and very nice. We will be back next hunting season!

We had such a lovely weekend. The house was adorable and comfortable, we felt right at home. We would love to come back in the summer when it’s warmer to really be able to enjoy the lake :)

We stayed at Romain’s place in Spring Lake for a few nights in November. This location was perfect for us. It’s a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Quiet streets that are great for dog walks! The cottage was well designed, super comfortable, and warm and cozy during some snow storms that came through. It was really nice sitting in the cottage and watching the snow fall with the view of the lake in the background. Romain was helpful and responsive. There is a grocery store, few restaurants and a bakery 4 minutes away. The cottage is also a short walk to a small public beach on Spring Lake. This area was cozy during winter months and I’m sure would be fun and lively during summer months. There is a big back yard. WiFi was good. I would recommend this place!

"An Absolute Lakeside Gem!" Blue Haven was everything we hoped for and more! The beach-themed interior was impeccably clean and cozy, with plenty of blankets and linens to keep us comfortable. The large, unobstructed windows gave us a stunning panoramic view of Lake Michigan, making every moment feel like a scenic postcard. The patio was generous in size, equipped with comfortable furniture and even a charming two-seater swing, perfect for unwinding with a good book or simply soaking in the view. This spot was ideal for relaxing, watching breathtaking sunsets, and stargazing into the night. Blue Haven is truly a gem on the shore of Lake Michigan, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

"It was WONDERFUL Place." I stayed here for a month on a business trip and it was a perfect accommodation without any faults. Even when the temperature outside was below zero and there was heavy snow, the house was peaceful and warm. The kitchen was fully equipped with kitchenware so I could cook while I was there, making it a perfect place. Bath and Tom always responded quickly to my questions and resolved my inconveniences. I would like to highly recommend this place to anyone reading this review. Even if you have a large family, this place is capable of accommodating them. I hope the next person who stays here will have good memories like me.

Everything that we were expecting! Host was super friendly, communicative, and thoughtful.

This cabin was an excellent winter getaway! The kitchen and living room are warm and cozy, and the sunroom was lovely as well. Though the outside areas were snowy and the lake was frozen over, it was a beautiful location. Erin was a great host, leaving clear instructions on how to do everything, as well as providing themed snacks in the kitchen! The bathroom was fully stocked with soap and towels, the fridge had food in it as well, and there were blankets everywhere, just in case. Would definitely recommend staying for any occasion in any season, 10/10!

We loved staying on Hardy Pond with Brenda as our host. She is great and very helpful. I strongly recommend this cottage.

Nice cabin with a personality. If you can use the pontoon boat and hit the lake, this experience can be unique. Fishing is accessible off the dock, and you can easily catch some bluegills. Network access is limited but you can use the time to catch some old VHS movies. We watched Free Willy after so many years! Overall a nice stay in White Cloud.

What a great host and location!! It looks exactly like the photos, like we stepped into a beautiful magazine. So grateful for the flexibility and friendliness. We are already planning our next trip!

This cottage was the perfect family vacation! it had everything you needed to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We loves that it was lakefront, beach area, kayaks, canoe, and paddleboat. We made smores and watched the sunset. This was also a quiet and clear lake. Great visibility! Mr. Bibs was right down the street for anything you forgot and Great icecream! We'll be back!

Sanel is so responsive and welcoming—the house is in a wonderful location on Silver Lake with a great dock and awesome lakeside fire pits. We caught the sunset one night, brought a paddle board and went out on the lake in one of Sanel’s kayaks, and walked the 6.5-mile round trip to the Little Sable Point Lighthouse. Great area! Walk to mini golf, dune buggies, ice cream, go-Karts. Nicely finished kitchen and bath, too!

Wonderful cozy cottage in a very peaceful neighborhood. Went during the height of winter and heating worked very well, wifi was good with a few spotty moments far between, everything else worked as expected. The place was exactly as described and matched the photos - the living room and dining area are spacious and it includes a large full basement. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic utensils and spices you’d need to cook a meal. The neighborhood is very peaceful and pretty with the lake right there. Wellston itself is an extremely tiny town with around 2 stores and one restaurant, so if you’re looking for more variety you’ll be going to Manistee which is around 25 minutes away depending on weather. If you’re looking to ski at Caberfae or just have a secluded peaceful getaway in a cozy environment, this place is perfect. Sarah was always quick to respond and help with our queries. We’ll be coming again!
