My family was looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this lake house was the perfect place for us! The lake views from the living room were spectacular. The house was charming and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! The peacocks roamed the yard throughout the day and were a pleasant sight to see. The dock was enjoyed by the whole family! We watched beautiful sunsets. My sons used the kayak. We fished for crappie and caught a few! We brought our small fishing boat and cruised around Lake Harris. We made our way to the famous Dora Canal. The boat launch is minutes away from the house. We walked to the delicious bakery a mile away for morning coffee and pastries. The host was so helpful and available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay at this charming and serene lake house!

Stephen was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and flexible as possible. He was proactive in letting us know that the check-in time was available sooner than listed. His keyless entry made it very easy to access his house and made it easy for all in my party to come and go as they pleased. His house was very clean and you could tell that as soon as you walked in the door. Everything worked well, his AC system provided arctic level cooling, his pool and hot tube was ready for use, his screened in game room was fun and actually stayed cool throughout the day, his outside gathering areas had plenty of seating, and his dock provided plenty of room to fish. This location on the canal was beautiful and easily accessible to St John's River. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone who wants a cool place to stay, relax and have fun. Thank you, Stephen, for your allowing us to stay at your house it was well worth the cost.

We’ve stayed at several places in this community over the years and this was definitely the best! Place was clean, the appliances were updated, and you can’t beat the proximity to the pool/clubhouse and the Lake views. Will definitely book again here.

This is by far my favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The grounds are exquisite, the attention to detail is off the charts . If you want to stay somewhere charming with amazing amenities ( game room, bar, gym, sauna, library) and appreciate beautiful landscaping and peace and quiet this is the place . The hosts are super receptive and were a pleasure to interact with. I am already planning our return trip . 10 out of 10 recommend .

This place is perfect! Weekend in Gainesville included UF events and wanted a place close to campus and downtown. This is the spot! Impeccably designed, the largest in tech, and clean as a whistle. Kathleen’ place and her responsiveness were on point. Can recommend this place enough!

The location was fantastic; when we got there, it even looked better in person. It had all the necessities and was a fairly roomy cabin/camper. A huge advantage was the patio and grill. We would definitely return; it's a nice pace for a quick getaway.

loved this place so much we added a night to our stay :) we absolutely love this area and have come up multiple times to visit – downtown Sanford is so much fun and there are so many beautiful nature spots to go for a walk. The house was so cozy and comfortable, and being able to lounge on the back, porch was incredible. The little “plant room” was my favorite❤️ we would absolutely love to come back!

Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

As a horse person - I figured I would really enjoy staying at a horse farm. Some may think a horse farm cottage would be too rustic or smell like horses… not this place! Absolutely gorgeous interior design with everything that I would need for my stay. Very clean & comfy! The kitchen is nicer than the one I have in my house and I was really sad that I had to leave. The views of the horses in their paddocks really added to my love for this property. I whole heartedly recommend this cottage for horse & non-horse lovers 😊😊😊

This place was incredible. I couldn't believe the beauty of the inside and outside. I loved all the colors and decor, the owners really took their time with the details. I kayaked for the first time ever so the kayak launch was incredibly helpful also. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you to the wonderful hosts as well!!!

Melinda was a great host, there was water and snacks provided which was awesome. Everything was clean and organized. If you want a relaxing get away off the beaten path, this your place to go.

We had a great time! The cabin is very clean and has everything you need. The property was easy to find, very beautiful, quiet and safe. The Host are the Best and respond quickly. This was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting Rainbow Springs State Park area.

Very responsive hosts. Clean! Friendly neighbor that lives in main home on property. Hardly knew anyone one else lived in main home. Loved having a laundry option. Beautiful area, lots to do and perfect for morning walks. Look forward to visiting again.

Authentic and accessible location in the Crystal River area. Convenient for a manatee boat trip from Crystal River whilst feeling properly off the beaten track. Felt like a proper home with a beautiful veranda to enjoy both breakfasts and evening meals. Amy was a super responsive host and resolved any questions we had very quickly.

We had an amazing 3 days at Sally's place! The house was clean and comfortable and we especially loved the use of kayaks right off the dock. We saw manatees right off the dock two of the days that we were there! We kayaked upstream toward the state park and downstream toward Rogers park every day. Sally recommended bug spray and that is for sure important! We cooked out one night on the charcoal grill, but there are also great restaurants nearby. It's a quick trip to the main road with all the stores you'll need. Sally was very communicative and responded right away to any questions that I had. We would stay here again!

We loved our stay at Chelsea's place. The home is beautifully decorated. The rooms are spacious for it being a small home. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood, it felt like being in the country while still being really close to everything. There were even chicken next door that came by for a visit, adding to the charm of the location. We found it convenient to drive to Disney World from here, as well as, to Ocala for the Silver Springs State Park. Chelsea was very responsive to emails. She contacted me before our trip to let me know that the state park that is close by was starting to require reservations so that I could get them if needed. Would definitely stay here again!

The hosts were very quick and helpful. The house was beautiful, and the view was just perfect! My grandmother and mom stayed here from out of state. It was the perfect place to be able to spend family time. My grandmother said the bed was very comfortable and they felt right at home. Thank you again for such a great weekend!

Julia was incredible!! We book last minute to get away from a coming hurricane. She kindly allowed us to check in early and gave us a discounted rate. While she was dealing with her own hurricane preparations she quickly responded to every request and went above and beyond. Her place was beautiful and we can't wait to visit again when the weather is better!!

We stayed here with 10 women on a lady retreat it was perfect - all the amenities you could need and more with the kayaks and St John’s River and many springs nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Our 2nd one month stay at this lovely cottage. It's an excellent location on a channel to access Lake Henderson. Perfect for bass fishing. The home is clean and comfortable. It's spacious and was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen is organized and well stocked . We enjoyed the patio, particularly the newly installed gazebo which provided shade during sunny days. The view from the patio is relaxing and perfect for sunrises. Home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's an easy 3 mile ride down 44 sidewalk to get to the Withlachoochee Bike Trail. Spent many hours fishing. Every Monday we'd make the the 45 minute drive to the Webster Flea Market (excellent stop for produce) then stop for lunch at Big Bass Grill on Lake Panasoffkee. Easy drive to Winn Dixie. Would absoulutely stay again,

Wonderful stay, the cottage was so inviting, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property is just beautiful. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and breakfast. The hosts were extremely nice and very responsive. I forgot some jewelry in the cottage, and they contacted me to let me know and offered to send it.

We had a great time at Brian’s place on the Weeki Wachee! It’s an older home but was recently updated and has all the useful amenities (including 4 kayaks that we had a great time using!). Brian met us when we arrived and gave a quick tour of the space. Everything else was self explanatory. We also really loved the cinnamon bun pancakes at the Silver Dolphin restaurant 5 minutes away!!
