We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lorraine’s place. The apartment was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. The addition of complementary biscuits and a bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Although we didn’t meet Lorraine in person, she was very responsive and made us feel so welcome. We would recommend her place wholeheartedly to others thinking of visiting the Lake District and very much hope to return!

Don’t book!!! You’ll end up not wanting to leave once you arrive, it’s got everything you need. Heated flooring, modern lighting soft touch fridge/freezer and draws, modern lighting, walk-in shower and a walk-in wardrobe. Even the bin has automatic features opening and closing by itself. Great hosts! they do really care about their guests. Greeted with a folder for all the previous guests to write in and share a message, they left a leaflet with tons of places to go.

Nick was very helpful at all times, very quick responding to any questions I had! Very easy to find, easy to get in and out of rooms with the instructions. The 2 separate rooms worked really well for us! Lovely stay and great location

Loved the apartment. Was absolutely perfect for what we needed as a family. Was definitely the most comfortable stay I have had in blackpool. Has a beautiful large balcony but unfortunately it was very windy so we did not get to use it. I felt very safe here with gate and door lock codes being required. Lots of towels provided. Has everything you could possibly need. I would like to have been able to hoover before I left but it’s understandable that one is not provided. Also due to us only having takeaways during our stay we had some rubbish that I would have liked to have disposed of myself but I had no idea where larger bins would be. Would love to book again when I return to Blackpool.

Spent 3 days at the cottage. Perfect for the 2 of us. Really clear instructions provided beforehand on how to find the cottage as it is tucked away. The cottage was lovely, peaceful, and full of character, and the beds really comfortable. It's location is superb and central. Six pub/restaurants within a 5 minute walk, and the start of the Cumbria Way walk is around the corner. The WiFi is strong, (as I needed it for work). Would definitely stay again.

We spent only one night at Naomi’s place, arriving very late after a family event, but it was a pleasant overnight stay with super comfortable beds and a great shower in the morning. I left a necklace behind and Naomi and Darren kindly looked for it and sent it to me by registered post, for which I am very grateful.

This is our second stay here, the apartment is in a great location, easily walkable down to the lake and town. Good restaurants right across the road too. The apartment is spotless, beautifully furnished and a great place to stay. Alison is a great host. Highly recommend.

Perfect little home only a short walk away from blackpool seafront! Would recommend for a group of friends or even a family considering we only used 2 of the 3 rooms available! Would consider staying again if we happen to be back in blackpool

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay while visiting the country for the first time. Great place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing and attending the local event that brought us to the area. Location was convenient and we found it very easy to get around by car. Amazing views to top it off.

Absolutely lovely clean home, everything you could need for a relaxing stay, near to all the amenities. Beds so comfortable 😁😁. Just perfect 😁 Definitely great value for money and plenty of room.

We’ve just had the most amazing stay at the apartment with our 6 month old for our “mini moon”. The apartment was spotless, had all the amenities we needed and was in a great location - it’s a great base to explore Bowness and Windermere. The apartment is up a hill, but we found this manageable pushing our daughter in her pram. Julie was an amazing host with quick communication and even decorated the apartment with balloons , flowers, chocolates and Prosecco for us which was a lovely surprise. Would recommend to anyone and will be staying again next time we visit the Lakes.

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing stay!! Me and partner don’t drive but there’s amazing walks and cheap taxis if yu need to go far. The apartment felt like a home it’s so peaceful and clean!! Only down side as someone with curly thick hair is the shower pressure is so bad🥲 but other than that I would 100% come again recommend the stay to everyone and the price is amazing. Ps. Sorry I left in a rush so it’s a little messy I tried to clean but boyfriend made a mess again😂😂 Thank you so much for having us!!!

We stayed in the apt for the second time and, like the first visit, we absolutely loved it 😀. It's like home-from-home - all the comforts but without the housework! There are lots of local walks and plenty of cafes/restaurants within easy walking distance so you don't have to drive anywhere if you don't want to. Thank you for another great stay, Lesley!

We’ve just spent a very enjoyable week at Jon’s cottage-it was very well located, near to amenities but also easy to go for some great walks from the property without needing to get in the car. It was comfortable and well equipped. Jon was easy to contact for the odd query that we had. We definitely hope to stay again in the future.
