Beautiful location to enjoy local sites. Lots of migrating birds and California quail in the morning to watch. Close to Burney Falls. Cozy place and the host had the fireplace ready for our arrival. There was also freshly baked muffins and farm fresh eggs. A nice treat! Due to a storm, we didn't get to see Mt. Shasta or Mt. Lassen on this trip, but maybe another time. There was a fenced yard which was great for our pup. We enjoyed our stay despite the storm.

This is our second time staying at Basecamp Lodge. The location is great to restaurants, supermarket, and ski park. The host is very proactive and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay to celebrate New Year’s with our family. The house is very spacious, with large, bright rooms and a huge living room perfect for gathering together. It’s equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the location is super convenient — the neighborhood felt safe and peaceful. Despite being near the train tracks, we barely noticed it, hearing only a couple of faint whistles over three days. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return!

The house and property were awesome! A great place for a family/kids. Lots to do in and around the house. We really enjoyed the little sledding hill in the backyard and the propane fire pit on the deck. The house was very clean too. Rana was very responsive and helpful as well

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house is nicely decorated with attention to detail. Nice back and front yard, and a cozy house that is walkable to a number of restaurants

Lovely home. Jacuzzi is nice. Home is cozy and in a private and quiet area. 10/10 would come back

The place was set in beautiful surroundings and the cabin itself was spacious and comfortable 🤩

Nice place. Spacious kitchen. Two queen size beds and one single bed. Richard was kind enough to let us use a travel crib for our baby. AC/heater in individual bed rooms were also nice. There were plenty of blankets as well. Walkable to the supermarket and an Indian restaurant (both highly recommended). Felt very safe.

We absolutely loved our stay. We arrived about 3am and the check in process was very easy therefore arriving at such an inconvenient time wasn’t a hassle for anyone. The space was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 toddlers, and 1 dog) We come to Mount Shasta yearly for our snowboarding trip but hadn’t found a house that felt like to make a part of the tradition but my husband even asked me to Make sure I continue to book this house for now on.
