This property is a gem of a find should you be looking for a peaceful stay with a touch of redwoods at your doorstep. The hot tub in property is the most perfect addition. Comfortable beds, tons of room, easily could sleep 6 people. Plenty of lounge space. We came during late September, so can’t speak to how comfortable it would be when in the winter months. Not much at all that I would add to improve this place.

We loved our stay in the cozy cabin. It was more spacious than depicted in the photos. The cabin is tucked away in the redwoods and felt private and secluded, and at the same time was extremely accessible; downtown Arcata was only a 10 minute drive.

The cabin is located in a remote setting, nestled in the woods. It was comfortable and cozy with a beautiful wood burning fireplace. The host and caretaker was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

My wife didn’t want to leave, I had to peel her out of this place when it was time to go. This was everything we love about camping but even better thanks to the awning the hosts built in. In late March during a rain storm the waterfall was gorgeous and a natural white noise machine. The outdoor showers were so clean and the water was nice and hot (and I need my water hot!). I would book here again and again. There’s so much love put into this property by the hosts and it shows.

We loved our stay at the cottage! It was the perfect size and very cozy. The property is a work of art with such a peaceful vibe. Soaking in the hot tub was a highlight of our trip ✨

Devon was an amazing and responsive host! They were very flexible with our last minute changes and made us feel at home. I came with friends to get away for a weekend over spring break and it was a perfect stay after hiking the redwoods all day!

We had great stay at Jason's place. He was very prompt with his responses as we were trying to get more information before booking the place. I really appreciate him helping us reach safely. On the checkout day, we locked ourselves out with some items left behind. We were not able to find person in-charge at the location as we had checked-in late and were not sure how to get help as there was no phone signal and had very spotty internet. We also couldn't find the office front dorr as all lights were off and we were not sure if there was anyone available. Eventually after 30 mins and talking to couple maintenance folks, we got hold of lady who thankfully helped us get our personal items back. I wish they had more clear instructions provided in cabin/outside/at front on how to get help or reach property manager as it is very difficult to reach anyone online/on call. But apart from that, we really enjoyed out stay and would definitely recommend anyone who are looking for a cozy getaway.

There aren’t a lot of reasonably-priced places to stay in the area, and this facility met all my expectations and then some. This RV campground is great for kids - it has a pool, game room with a couple of arcade games (bring quarters), mini golf and I think a frisbee course. We didn’t stay long enough to use them, but my kids would have been thrilled to have a day just to play. The cabin itself was just as advertised, clean and fine for 3-4 people. The kitchen had a microwave and mini fridge, but no stove. That was fine, since I just used our camp stove outside on the picnic table. Downsides - 5$ a load for the washing machine, and it only took quarters. A change machine would be nice for when the office is closed. There were two massive generators on wheels running on the property, so I suspect something was wrong with the electrical service. I was appreciative of the electricity, but they were LOUD! Otherwise, I enjoyed our stay, and would come here again.

This place was so special and exceeded my expectations! The host was very nice and provided a contact person, Monica, who made sure we had everything we needed. The locals are friendly and were happy to provide additional suggestions on where to chill along the river and places to eat/drink. The Bigfoot Steakhouse and Pizza Factory had great food and the bartender at the Forks Lounge was super cool. We loved that the home feels secluded, yet close to all we needed. Quaint, relaxing, with green and luscious surroundings as soon as you step out of the door. The host has done a wonderful job making sure that this little cabin in the woods is private, quiet, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities of home. Absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Great little cabin with everything you need, right next to the Trinity River. Fantastic grounds and store and great campers!

We have lots of family over the hill in the Hoopa Valley, and staying in Orleans is a quick half hour drive up river. The Klamath river in this area is special and spiritual, especially for the Karuk people and other indigenous folks that live throughout this area. If you are looking for a quiet place without electronics to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself, this remote part of northern California is for you. Be respectful. The ranch property and the areas immediately around Orleans are great, safe places to walk the river. You'll see deer, herons, osprey, trout jumping, and maybe some otters. Truly remote wilderness is a short drive away and be properly prepared when hiking the amazing trails and river access areas. If you want to see bears, head up river 10-20 miles to one of the river accesses before the sun hits the water. I saw two at Green Riffle and decided to leave instead of fly fishing for the Klamath's beautiful trout.

Wonderful Stay at The Round House Our stay at The Round House in Trinity Village was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Gail, our host, made us feel incredibly welcome. The house itself is charming, and well-maintained, with plenty of unique touches that give it a cozy, inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the saltwater pool—We spent hours lounging by the pool, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and taking in the stunning views. Gail was the perfect host, and thoughtful without being intrusive. She provided everything we needed for a comfortable an and relaxing stay. Overall, I highly recommend The Round House for anyone visiting Trinity Village. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a place to unwind with family and friends, this is the perfect spot!

A very comfortable little place in a stunningly beautiful location. It has all of the amenities you would need or want, and it’s not as isolated as it seems, Willow Creek is a 15 minute drive (barring road work on 299). Very comfortable furniture, fast WiFi, surprisingly roomy inside. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond. Seems like a nice little sleepy family neighborhood. The Trinity Alps are amazing and this is a great place to stay while you explore the area.

beautiful property that you could easily spend a weekend and still feel like you didn't see it all. make sure to read the instructions they will get you there! the GPS really is unreliable they are correct about that.

Deborah’s place was so good for our family the first time we booked it again for a second time. Get away from it all at Deborah’s ….. on the river Great weather, comfortable house, nature all around good for kids. With shallow areas in the river to play in. Our family loves it we will go again next year.
