The stay in Gummi‘s House was perfect. We had everything we needed and the place is well equipped with all facilities in the kitchen to cook great dinner.

Nagyon hangulatos kis ház, igazi izlandi vidéki hangulat közeli szomszédokkal. Az alsó hálószoba bájos, a felső inkább hálókamra gyerekeknek és kis ruganyos felnőtteknek. Inga korrekt és segítőkész. Bármikor szívesen visszamennénk!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Tolles Haus mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Gefühlt schon sehr privat weil man sehr merkt dass das Haus bewohnt wird und mit liebe eingerichtet ist. Whirlpool war leider ohne Funktion, ein Ersatz stand in der Garage, was okay war, aber nicht wirklich ein Ersatz. Auffahrt war gut geräumt und der Gastgeber sehr nett mit süßen Hunden. Ein Allrad Fahrzeug ist im Winter zu empfehlen um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen.

L' alloggio è accogliente e trasmette le stesse sensazioni di quando sì è a casa propria. Un albergo avrebbe forse offerto strutture più nuove ma il soggiorno non sarebbe stato coì piacevole. L' accesso diretto al seminterrato offre la possibilità di gestire le attrezzature sportive senza entrare in casa e questa è una bella cosa.

We stayed in this beautiful house for Christmas and it was magical! Kristin is the perfect host. Answering any questions I had quickly and thoughtfully. She decorated the house for Christmas with lights and a tree and even presents for my children. The house is even more lovely than the photos and the views are dreamy. The decor is modern and comfortable. The hot tub is lovely to relax in on a cold day. The house has everything you need and really feels like home from home. I was worried the house would feel cold but it is very cozy. It is about 45 minutes drive from Akureyri which is where the closest airport is. Dalvik is the nearest small town about 15 minute's away. We had the most delicious fish soup in Gisli Eirikur Helgi, a lovely small restaurant in Dalvik that I would recommend visiting! I would absolutely recommend this beautiful house to anyone wanting to visit this area. We did some amazing trips - whale watching, husky sledding, Forest Lagoon, Godafoss waterfalls.

This house is an absolute gem in Iceland! Not only is it beautifully designed and tastefully decorated, but it was also spotlessly clean, which made a fantastic first impression. A major highlight was the built-in music system throughout the house – it added so much fun and atmosphere, especially for a group of young people. The sauna and jacuzzi were simply amazing – the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes. We were also lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights right from the house, which was a truly unforgettable experience. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay – from kitchen appliances to thoughtful little touches that made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special and unforgettable stay in Iceland!

We had a great stay in Arngunnur's place. The communication was fluid and the area was nice to explore. Would come again!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Wasmachine!!! Vaatwasmachine, broodrooster, met als kers op de taart de sauna en hot tub. Alles was erg schoon en goed verzorgd met aandacht voor details. De koffie gelegenheid maakte het verblijf helemaal af.

Mon ami et moi avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce petit chalet de compagne Islandaise. Zuleyma a été très actif a nous répondre lorsque nous en avions besoin et très compréhensif. Le chalet est simple mais possède une superbe vue sur la mer et les montagnes et les voisins sont très gentils, y compris les animaux qui se baladent de temps en temps. Facile d'accès en voiture, proche d'une petite ville portuaire très sympathique a visiter a pieds. Si j'ai l'occasion de revenir en Islande, ce logement sera mon lieu de prédilection. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war nicht nur sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, sondern auch sehr gemütlich und einladend. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, dass wir uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause fühlten. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden definitiv wiederkommen!

What a special place! The house is beautifully decorated with so much love – we felt completely at ease from the very first moment. The bathrobes were the cherry on top, instantly making us feel at home. The location is perfect: peaceful, yet well connected. The hosts were always available and kind in their communication. Definitely a place we’d love to return to!

This place was perfect. Absolutely perfect. We had the most wonderful stay. I can’t find any other words to describe how incredible Daníel and Stefán were as hosts, everything was thought of and put together with immaculate detail. They went above and beyond, picked us up from a snowy track, Stefán’s made wonderful biscuits and gave us a local tour, we walked with Yogi the dog and the river hot tub is, honestly, the best place we’ve ever soaked. It’s a sanctuary in the valley, peaceful and perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Super friendly hosts and really charming Airbnb. The place was really cute and clean and the mountains surrounding the cottage site were breathtaking. Will definitely come back on future trips to Iceland!
