Heiða Kristín’s place was perfect. Absolutely spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. Great view from the bedroom window too. We’ll definitely be back!

Einstaklega huggulegt og kósý hús fyrir vinkonuhópinn. Allt til alls í eldhúsinu og tvö baðherbergi :) Þetta er í annað sinn sem við erum allar saman í húsinu og við vorum allar sammála um að þarna væri gott að vera. Staðsetningin er miðsvæðis og samskiptin við eigandann frábær.

A computer glitch deleted our original pre-paid booking at a place which we reserved 5 months prior in Blönduós, and we were scrambling to find lodging. Fortunately, Gunnar was able to accommodate us last-minute at his recently renovated historical home in Sauðárkrókur. The kitchen has modern appliances and the twin mattresses were high quality and comfortable. The house is located walking distance from local restaurants and I enjoyed looking at the fjord from the windows.

Fantastic beds, very clean appartment, good rest, warm, we could dry in the wet weather, well equipped,as said,I loved it, just like on the photos. Friendly, experieced host. Good suprise the coffee machine and the ice cube maker and the boardgames;))

The cabin was a perfect stop on our way around the ring road! Spacious for a one bedroom. Clean and comfortable. The hot tub is really nice and set down a bit so you can't hear groups in it from your cabin. The view is gorgeous as well!

My stay was absolutely wonderful! Iris is a truly gracious and thoughtful host, greeting me warmly upon arrival. The cabin was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable and warm and cozy. The views of the mountains was breathtaking, and I loved in the dogs, sweet Hekla and Molly. A highlight of my stay was when Iris took me down to see their beautiful horses in the morning—such a special treat! She went above and beyond in every way, even lending me her own boots when I realized I hadn’t packed sensible shoes for the snow. Her kindness and generosity made all the difference. The weights and yoga mats were so nice to have! The kitchen was fantastic, stocked with everything you could possibly need, including an espresso maker and a soda maker. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Iris is truly one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. My stay was amazing, and I highly recommend Armuli! Thank you Iris for your warm gracious hospitality!

Had a great winter retreat at Lea's cabin. It's wonderfully located, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, from BBQ to hot tub. Bonus points for the Northern Lights we got on NYE!

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. The location is incredible - we saw the Northern Lights from the hot tub. There are short walks you can do around the island and we also did a whale watching tour from Arskogssandur. The house was beautiful, very clean and had everything you need (including a very well stocked kitchen). The hot tub was very easy to use. The views from the house and hot tub are breathtaking. Bjorgvin was incredibly helpful (e.g. helping us book a taxi from the airport etc.). Hrísey is a magical place and we would love to come back one day. I can’t recommend it enough!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Tolles Haus mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Gefühlt schon sehr privat weil man sehr merkt dass das Haus bewohnt wird und mit liebe eingerichtet ist. Whirlpool war leider ohne Funktion, ein Ersatz stand in der Garage, was okay war, aber nicht wirklich ein Ersatz. Auffahrt war gut geräumt und der Gastgeber sehr nett mit süßen Hunden. Ein Allrad Fahrzeug ist im Winter zu empfehlen um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen.

What a special place! The house is beautifully decorated with so much love – we felt completely at ease from the very first moment. The bathrobes were the cherry on top, instantly making us feel at home. The location is perfect: peaceful, yet well connected. The hosts were always available and kind in their communication. Definitely a place we’d love to return to!
