We've just spent 5 days at Fable Lodge. It's set on a beautiful lake which is stunning. The sunken hot tub overlooks the view which is equally stunning in the evenings. The lodge has everything you need. Is very spacious and really cozy..plenty of room for everyone to relax. Sarah has been a great host from initial booking until we left. We didn't buy the entertainment pass and we didn't regret it, we enjoyed the lodge to its full extent. There's a coop in the local village and a fantastic fish and chip shop. We walked to the castle from the lodge which was beautiful. The planes from the RAF base are amazing! The noise is incredible. This was a great thing for my photography keen husband! You can walk down to the run way and watch them take off too! We wouldn't hesitate in going back. The side of the park we were on was lovely and away from the hussle and bussle of the club house area and activities which is not our thing! Thanks for a great stay. We were a family of 5.

The cabin was immaculate. There is nothing we could fault. Everything was beautifully clean and well looked after. I can’t think of anything that you would need that wasn’t there. Tea, coffee, milk and the coffee machine; shower gel, shampoo, towels for inside and outside when using the hot tub along with robes too. It really is beautiful. We popped into the pub for a drink but didn’t eat. However I can say it was lovely and busier than i would expect for a Thursday night. John messaged to enquire about our arrival time and had no problem with our vague plan. We stayed in touch and he was waiting to greet us. He showed us around and explained how to contact him if we needed anything. We had a lovely break and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and the kindness you showed our daughter.

Kingfisher Lodge really was a home from home. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches. Communication with Julie was excellent. We couldn't rate this place highly enough. Thank you, Julie for making us feel so welcome.

We loved our stay, the caravan was great with lovely fresh bedding and all the equipment you need in the kitchen, complementary basket with goodies was so kind. The hot tub is fab, clean and just the right temperature. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Samantha ☺️

What an excellent home, we felt very comfortable, everything was super clean and had all the amenities you require. Jane was great at communicating. We felt very much at home and would definitely like to return one day!

Absolutely amazing stay! From start to finish everything was perfect, the caravan is nicely tucked away from the rush of the centre on the site, but still close enough to get to everywhere. The view of the lake was unexpected and certainly added to the peacefulness of our break. The hot tub was also a brilliant add! We walked in and instantly felt at home, extremely clean and very well looked after. The hamper on entry was also a lovely little extra! Thank you so much for welcoming us and we will 100% be back. 🩷 xxx

We absolutely loved this place! Upon arrival Rosalind met us and showed us around the property and showed us how to use the hot tub. The pod was extremely clean and we were left with some breads, jams, little chocolates and even some treats for our dog. There was also a manual outlining house rules and this included a list of local walks and dog friendly pubs. We were skeptical about the shared hot tub but it was really straight forward and there are half an hour gaps in between slots to allow time for it to be cleaned between guests. The smoke alarm did go off whenever we cooked bacon but that was probably our fault and shows that the place is definitely safe! I would probably add some solar powered fairy lights to the terrace for the evenings but that’s just preference. Overall it was a 10/10 weekend, we will definitely be back and bringing our dog with us! Also we fell in love with their dog Duke who wants to play fetch all day haha

Lovely lodge lots of bee touches. Clean, bigger than we thought, lovely stay. Felt swimming was expensive, if we had gone twice it would have been 74 pounds. Coming from yorkshire felt that was too much. Llovely walk around site. Went to five bells for tea, very good food. Very relaxing.

What an amazing place. So quiet and peaceful, a little spice of heaven. This was our first time staying in a pod and it did not disappoint. A beautiful clean and comfy pod had everything we needed and more. Sandra our host, was extremely friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. Our stay was absolutely amazing . the caravan was lovely and clean and had everything you need. also quite a comfy bed which is quite surprising. all bedding was clean. 5 minutes to shops and to activities. and host was very responsive if you need any help . would definitely stay again 🙂

My partner and I love staying at the barn owl pod. It was in a beautiful location, and really good places to eat near by. The pod was very clean and a perfect getaway. Thank you!

It’s really hard to find an accessibile caravan that allows pets so this was a real find. The caravan was warm, homely and well appointed. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook nice food but there was also food on the site for those who didn’t want to coo. The garden was secure for our small dog, although the fence wasn’t that high, so if you have a bigger/bouncier dog you might need to be careful! The caravan was perfect for a wheelchair. The site was clean and tidy.

great value for time we stayed. Ideal location right near the beach. The chalet was spotless and had everything we needed inside. amazing hosts with quick responses, would absolutely stay again!

Had a fantastic stay, the lodge was immaculate and has everything you need and more for a fantastic stay, the hot tub was fabulous & the view over the lake was stunning. It has its own private fishing peg which my husband loved. Chloe was a fantastic host, always replied quickly and answers any questions. For us as family this was the perfect place for a few days of relaxation. Thank you so much!

Booked for a 2 night stay and was perfect for a very relaxing time. Very easy to find in a beautiful little village. The instructions for getting in was perfect and great parking close to the lodge. The lodge was very clean and simple inside perfect for what we wanted. lots of room inside for the two of us and a Newfoundland dog and must say he really enjoyed his stay here also. The lodge is in the grounds of the Greenman pub this is a real bonus as the pub is a beautiful English pub with fantastic food and staff who made us feel really welcome it really is worth eating here and having a chat with the locals just how a pub should be good beer great food and lovely people thank you. 1 great thing about staying here is you step out straight into the countryside with gorgeous walks which me and the dog enjoyed. A massive thank you Victoria and all the Greenman staff

Lovely little cabin, well furnished and great that it was west facing too as it was lovely to sit out the front and enjoy the evening sunshine! The welcome snacks and milk in the fridge were a nice touch and communication from Sarah was excellent throughout our stay. We enjoyed some lovely long walks around the nearby RSPB and NWT sites and the cabin was well located to stroll down to the beach front to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

We have just returned home from a week in Jade’s gorgeous lakeside cabin. The cabin consisted of everything we needed for our family of 6 and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Jade promptly organised our entertainment passes ahead of our arrival which was a big help as it meant we were able to book our activities well in advance.

Easy communication and check in Cabin was perfect for what I needed as I was working locally and needed some place to stay Shower was hot and clean, bar was very well priced and friendly

We had a fantastic stay at Ella Lodge. It was perfect for a short family break. The lodge is extremely clean and in a fabulous location . We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Mark was an amazing host. His lodge is so beautiful. We felt immediately at home. Our grandchildren were pleasantly surprised to find that Mark had left them a pumpkin to carve along with decorations to use for Halloween. They were also delighted with the quality of the toys and books that were left for them to play with. Hours of entertainment was had with them. The park itself was very quiet, which suited us, as the children could ride their bikes freely. We enjoyed the dog walking around the nature trail which was beautiful this time of year. Thank you Mark for allowing us to stay at your lodge. We cannot wait to return with the golf clubs next time.

Truly special place for all and particularly for us with our four children. The woods, den building and genuinely peaceful vibe was a big win for all.
