We absolutely loved staying at Kirsty and Simon’s place! The studio was tidy and had everything we needed. While it’s semi near the road, there was no traffic at night so it was peaceful and quiet. Directly across the street is a beautiful short walk to the Brothers Point and beautiful rocky ocean spot. So many sheep and we saw a seal playing! While we didn’t get a chance to use yoga space which looked great the yarn store was incredible! Local natural and plant dyed yarns , that they dye themselves from foraged plants!!! Amazing little shop, amazing studio and amazing hosts! We’d love to stay again next time we’re on Skye ! :)

If you get distracted by the view (like we did) and the cows (like we did) and you totally forget to count the houses (like we did), the good news is that there’s a very clear sign that tells you that you’ve arrived at Taigh Ruisgarry! Yay for the details that help out find the destination point! Dorothy herself was a wonderful host and her place was fantastic. The views are amazing and my only regret is that we didn’t plan on staying longer than we did. Highly recommended!

We hadden een leuke tijd in het appartement van Sarah. Het appartement is heel ruim, met een goed uitgeruste keuken en een ruime badkamer! Alles was makkelijk te vinden, de bedden waren al opgemaakt en er was een ruime voorraad handdoeken. Het uitzicht over het meer terwijl je eet is geweldig! De parkeerplaats is vlak voor de deur, heel handig dus. Het appartement is perfect gelegen om de streek te verkennen! Sarah is een geweldige host, ze antwoordt altijd heel snel op berichten en zorgde voor heerlijke koekjes en melk en koffie bij aankomst. Een aanrader!

Sarah's airbnb was so authentic and unique and beautiful decorated. I loved the feel and style of the airbnb. The surrounding gardens were equally as impressive. I had such a relaxing and peaceful stay! I would definitely stay again when travelling through the highlands!

In such a beautiful and peaceful location and the spectacular views can be enjoyed from all the windows. There was a log burner all set up ready to go which made the space feel very cosy. Felt very comfortable and relaxed the whole stay. Sarah was very friendly and incredibly helpful. She made our experience there even more perfect. We enjoyed using the well stocked kitchen to cook in as well as taking advantage of the local cafe and restaurants where we enjoyed locally caught scallops and langoustines. Totally recommend and hope to return one day.

We had a fabulous stay at Sue’s. The apartment was immaculate with stunning views. We ate once at The Applecross Inn and also cooked out on the beach … two fantastic meals ! We will definitely return and highly recommend Sue’s house to our friends.

Great to stay in this cosy, immaculate self contained apartment. Perfectly furnished with everything we needed - even down to the Tupperware which was helpful for our picnics! Lovely to have cooking oil and tea bags too! Fantastic location - with Arisaig on the doorstep and Mallaig and nearby beaches a short drive away. We were able to get the ferry to Eigg and Skye for some great days out and enjoy a number of local walks including down to the stunning Rhu Beach, which Steve recommended.

Jamie’s house is in an incredible location with stunning scenery all around. We loved sitting out by the water and seeing seals fishing nearby. The house is beautifully designed and clearly a lot of thought has gone into curating each space of the house from the furniture to the art in each room - it’s really a pleasant home to stay in and I highly recommend staying here.

Diane’s place is the ideal spot for a peaceful, picturesque getaway to the Isle of Skye. My friends and I used the kitchen a lot and it had everything we needed. The beds were cozy and everything was clean. And seeing the sheep everyday was an added bonus and so fun! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place to stay on the isle of Skye. Just know that the closest grocery store is 45 minutes away, so just get groceries before you arrive.

Very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. Had all the extra bits you need. Cosy considering the weather and woodburner was nice. Bigger than in the pictures and accommodated 6 well. Couldn't get TV to work but a nice excuse not to have it on and sit and chat /play card games.

Lovely stay close to beautiful beaches. Lorraine was responsive on messages and really friendly. The apartment was spotless, warm, and the beds were comfy - a perfect place to come back to after long days of hiking.

This was our second time staying at Solas, with our 11 week old in tow this time. The cottage is a perfect cosy base to “come home” to from exploring beautiful Skye and has everything you would need. John was extremely helpful once again making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back again no doubt. Thank you, John!

Werkelijk een uitzonderlijke plek om tot rust te komen op een uitzonderlijk eiland. We waren bijzonder onder de indruk van deze mooie plek. Het huisje blinkt uit in haar onberispelijke schoonheid. Van het gezellige vertoeven voor het haardvuur tot de mooie slaapkamer met dito uitzicht. Deze plek is wat ons betreft een aanrader.

We came here over New Year’s and had an amazing time. The Croft is the perfect size for two couples or a group of friends. The nature around the place is absolutely stunning and the house itself has a lot of charm and personal touches. Very grateful about the opportunity to stay here. Many thanks to Deirdre and Mhairi, making our stay so memorable.

We had a wonderful stay at Rachel’s home. It was very easy to walk in to town, it was clean and quiet, and we had a good amount of space to unwind and unpack. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Rachel!

Cozy and well equipped apartment, with a good proximity to all amenities. Its location is suitable to explore the Isle of Skye. Recommended!

Norma's flat was in pristine condition! Gorgeous views of the Loch in front and even a tiny waterfall in the back. Milk, jams, cereal, coffees and teas were provided along with all kitchenware essentials, making cooking for yourself extremely easy. Norma also contributes to helping guests limit their carbon footprints with essentials provided in refillable or recyclable containers, which is greatly appreciated by us environmentally conscious guests!

Rosie's place is paradise in Scotland. The view is of the water, pasture beside the house where Highland cows wandered. We were surrounded by Rosie's beautiful art. Its remote but that was the charm for us. The roads are windy and narrow to get there.

John & Ann’s place was perfect for our short stay! We really appreciated the clear instructions and warm welcome when checking in. The airbnb was exactly as described and made us feel right at home. Would love to come back in the future!

An absolute gem of a place. Great accommodation with phenomenal surroundings - brilliant views of the Torridon mountain range. The accommodation was clean, very spacious and catered to all our needs. Sam was an excellent host. Friendly and always responsive.

The accommodation was nicer than it looks in the pictures. Also very clean and comfortable and cosy. We loved sitting by the kitchen window for breakfast looking over the harbour and watching the sun go down in the evening. We felt really at home there. Location was perfect to explore the area. I would definitely recommend it.
