What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

Carol & Allan 's Place was amazing!! We loved the house, it had everything we needed and more! The area was beautiful and peaceful. We drove all over and saw the most incredible scenery! We met Carol & Allan on our last night, and they are so lovely!! You cannot ask for a better place to stay!! Rodney

Alison was a wonderful host for her place from giving us excellent directions (we came in after dark and still found it easily) to checking us in personally. We communicated with her that we had left later than planned and would be getting there late so we certainly didn't expect a personal check-in, but it was much appreciated. The place itself is a charming croft and a small distance from Spean Bridge into the countryside. The views are gorgeous and the interior is welcoming and well equipped. For us it was a central location for exploring - .5 hour to Fort William, 1.5 hrs to Glen Creran, and slighly less than 2 hrs to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skybridge to the Isle of Skye, etc. We would hike all day and come home late to make a last meal and sleep. Having a washer and dryer in a mud room area was fabulous with mud on our hikes. We would definitely stay here again both for the scenery and the hospitality.

We loved Julie’s place! Location was perfect, walking distance to everything in Fort Augustus and a great base from which to explore the Highlands. The house is beautiful, incredibly comfortable and very spacious for the 6 of us. Julie provided a great welcome with treats and even crackers ready for our Christmas meal. The kitchen is very well equipped. Nice garden and plenty of space for parking. Very highly recommended, would love to come back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great views and a comfortable house. Had everything we needed and was nice and clean! Would recommend to anyone who wants a base to explore the amazing surrounding area.

This was our second stay here and we had a brilliant trip. John’s place is well equipped and has everything you need, even for a longer time away. We also made the most of the working space in the spare room which worked great. The recommendations for local days out and food were really useful and John was always a responsive host if we needed anything. Overall a really comfortable place to stay that we would highly recommend.

Hector’s place was very comfortable, easy to access and you couldn’t beat the location. The flat is very spacious with beautiful lighting at all times of the day. Hector was great to communicate with and responsive to our inquiries. The Cafe below is an added bonus.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Perfect location right on Loch Ness with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend!!

Many thanks to Jas & Kiran for hosting my partner and I. The place was easy to find, and easy to check into. Private bedroom with a beautiful outlook into the amazing mountain views. Kitchen was great to be able to cook meals in, and definitely enjoyed the vinyl records available. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and very stylish, and provided a great place for rest and relaxation. We were thankfully blessed with clear skies at night, and had a lovely evening stargazing. The location of the Airbnb is just nice, as it’s not too far off from Fort William if needing to grab groceries, and also has many attractions not too far off as well. 10/10 definitely recommended if visiting the highlands/staying in Spean Bridge!

The cabin was amazing in every way, comfortable. Great location and peaceful for a few days away. Easy check in and check out.

Catherine was a lovely host, receiving my girlfriend and I with a warm welcome. She was very helpful and responsive to any questions, concerns or requests we would have. Her space was beautifully decorated, and neatly organized, providing us with many amenities to make our trip that much more enjoyable.

I rarely give a 5.0 review but Steve and Sheryl were great hosts and their place is amazing.

Cabina davvero stupenda con una vista spettacolare! Lauren poi è un host fantastica, ci ha accolto molto calorosamente e ci ha dato tantissimi consigli, nonchè lasciato le uova fresche della sua gallina (adorabile, ogni mattina passava fuori la cabina a darci il buongiorno :). La cabina era caldissima al nostro arrivo, molto gradito in questo freddo periodo di novembre! Il posto è magnifico, perfetto per chi cerca un piccolo angolo di paradiso, lontano dalle luci artificiali della città, e in cui avere modo di ammirare benissimo le stelle e la natura, immersi nel silenzio. Puoi avvistare tanti animali selvatici (noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna non solo di vedere tante specie di uccelli, ma anche una lontra pescare e poi venire a farsi una passeggiata a riva non molto distante da noi!). La cabina è davvero adorabile, super confortevole, pulitissima, dotata di una doccia grande e un letto comodissimo. Un atmosfera bellissima all'interno e un alloggio attrezzato di tutto l'indispensabile

Siamo molto felici di aver scelto lo chalet di Sally e Adam per il nostro soggiorno sull’isola di Skye. L’alloggio è immerso nella natura, infonde pace e serenità, ottimo posto per riposare la mente👌🏻 la casetta è dotata di tutti i comfort necessari, la vista è spettacolare ad ogni ora del giorno. Sally ed Adam sono persone molto disponibili e gentili. Un ringraziamento particolare ad Adam che ci ha aiutato a risolvere un problema con lo pneumatico della nostra auto. Super consigliato!!! We really loved this peaceful and remote stay. It was very quiet and serene. The Airbnb had everything we needed, it’s definitely a cozy little spot! The extra touches from the hosts were really nice. Everything was extremely clean. Very close to the main town. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Rebecca and Matthew are wonderful hosts with an amazing property. We stayed for 3 nights in February and had a fantastic stay. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need. The decor and finishes are all to the highest standard and extremely luxurious. The bathroom is out of this world with a very large walk in shower and the biggest bath I’ve ever seen. The hot tub is clearly top of the range and super toasty with very powerful jets. The view from the hot tub is beautiful and at night you can star gaze. It’s also very private and we were not overlooked. We were lucky with the weather whilst we were visiting and had three days of sunshine. This just helped to show off everything the cottage had to offer. Rebecca and Matthew are very generous and extremely helpful. Rebecca especially went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. It’s obvious she cares very deeply about the welfare of her guests and making sure they have everything they need. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Amy’s place. The property is beautiful and we felt right at home. It was nice to use the kitchen to cook a meal and stay in for a night. The views are beautiful. We definitely plan to be back.

Great comfortable lodge, good location with lovely views, 20mins walk to the nearest pub. There was so much useful local info in the information pack!

Fantastic location, good quality bedding and furnishings, highly recommended and will be back again.
