Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our stay at Mary and Ray's home. Each of our 4 rooms had an ensuite bathroom, and the home was equipped with heated floors on the lower level, as well as a wood stove, gas fireplace, and dimmable lights for a cozy evening ambiance. The home has many personal touches like motion sensor night lights in the entrance, staircase, and bedrooms, as well as a display of various family members' drawings and paintings. The view of the lake is amazing. There are many lovely restaurants in the area, including a reservation-only prix-fixe restaurant serving venison and partridge. This is a European home, and we were surprised to see a few added luxuries like a few screened windows as well as a tumble dryer (to soften line-dried clothes). Mary and Ray were incredibly responsive and hospitable to us throughout our stay.

My son is allergic to dust mites and we worry about staying in places but I was very happy to say this house was spotless. Breda sends you instructions and where stuff is on the day of stay and everything was where she instructed and good working condition. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris’s place. Our group had 7 adults and two babies and we had plenty of space. It’s a short walk down to the cafes and pubs and a nice walk along the water to the beach. Chris was easy to communicate with and we had everything we needed. I’d definitely recommend the place.

Our first time using Airbnb and Diarmúid has certainly set the bar high. The house is beautiful with everything to make you feel at home, responses to questions extremely quick and Diarmúid went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. Would 100% recommend A*** Thankyou Diarmúid for being an exceptional host.

The house was amazing and Barney was always helpful and responsive. The location is perfect with its proximity to Rougy.

We just stayed for a night before heading back to Dublin. This is a nice spot away from all the buzz. Nearby Corry beach has beautiful views on Lough Allen. Especially thankful to find all food for breakfast in the fridge on arrival.

lovely spot in westport . very close to the town to be able to walk in. we stayed there for the marathon weekend, and had a fantastic (albeit painful 😄) few days. really good private parking and roomy house. would be back

Excellent apartment. Very clean and plenty of space for 4 people. Apartment was right in the middle of town and close to everything. Would defiantly book again if staying in Carrick again.

This is a really fantastic place to stay in strandhill. Located right in the village within 5 mins walkable distance of all amenities. The quality of the accommodation was really excellent. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and a functional kitchen and dining area. Catherine has thought of everything we might need and there was a real attention to all kinds of details such as providing bread, milk, juices a variety of cereals and small touches of luxury stored around the rooms and bathroom which were really appreciated and a nice surprise. Catherine was a great communicator, anticipated our needs and was really helpful and friendly. A perfect hostess. Our only regret is that we only had time for a short stay and I really hope to return to hidden gem soon.

We had a lovely stay at Mairead’s apartment. The accommodation was more spacious than expected from the pictures. Perfectly clean and comfortable. We are very familiar with this area and would recommend this lovely quiet spot as a great base for enjoying Westport and surrounds and also exploring the rest of Mayo and North Galway.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone. I arrived quite late so being able to pick up the key from a box and let myself in was great. I met Rosemary the following day, she was really helpful, made sure I was okay and didn't need anything and offered some local recommendations too. She had also left several goodies for breakfast like bread, butter, jam, fruit, eggs, milk, cereal, juice etc which was a really nice welcome. The place was just off a main road but felt really peaceful and remote - you will need a car here which I think Rosemary mentions in the listing. The accommodation was perfect with a kitchen / lounge area, modern bathroom and large double bedroom - I had everything I needed. I will miss seeing Nell the dog every morning!!

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Mark was a brilliant host with great communication from start to finish. The apartment is in a private complex and absolutely perfect. All the essentials were provided which was great and everywhere was lovely and clean. Huge balcony area with lovely views. Bonus for us was that it was pet friendly too. Private secure parking and you are so close to plenty of shops, restaurants and take aways. Aldi and Tesco nearby too. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay.

Catherine is a great host, friendly, efficient and gave great local advice on eating out, local walks and directions to my work appointment. Breakfast was lovely and bedroom was warm, comfortable, decorated lovely and a good shower.

One of the best places I've been. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was really good and filling. The hosts were really nice. I recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay with Sharon as we were up surfing in Easkey for a few days! Unbelievably welcoming and friendly family and I couldn't say enough nice things about them and their accommodation! It would be the first place i would consider booking if I am staying up around that direction in the future! Thanks again Sharon!

J’ai passé un séjour exceptionnel chez Linda. Elle est une hôte incroyablement chaleureuse, et je me suis senti comme chez moi dès mon arrivée. La maison est magnifique, décorée avec soin et très paisible. J’ai rarement aussi bien dormi. Après une journée entière de randonnée, prendre un bain relaxant était un vrai moment de bonheur. Tout est impeccable, très propre et aménagé avec goût. L’emplacement est facile à trouver et proche du centre-ville. Les deux petits chiens sont adorables et très affectueux, un vrai plus pour les amoureux des animaux. Linda est de loin la meilleure hôte que j’ai rencontrée. C’est une belle personne, et je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Margaret and Eamon went completely above and beyond anyone's wildest expectations - from a tea / coffee greeting to an absolutely delicious breakfast and a bed that is incredibly comfortable. Even getting up extra early to say goodbye and feed me again! - couldn't recommend highly enough.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Harry, Marys Mann, begrüßt. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön mit Zugang zu einer Terrasse und wir konnten bei Kaffee und Tee draußen sitzen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Tisch schön gedeckt. Beide Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr nett unterhalten. Schade war nur die Nähe zur Motorway. Es war nötig, die Fenster zu schließen. Dann war der Schlaf nicht gestört. Wir sind mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden und bedanken uns bei Mary und Harry

Great stay with Peter down in Mayo. I was down for a two day bike race and Peters location was great just a short drive into Westport Town where the race was starting. Communications were excellent. Peter and his family were also all extremely accommodating and friendly and made for an great visit. I would gladly return if I was down to Westport again.

I had a pleasant stay at Ursula's place. It had convenient parking, and was close to both the beach and the cliff walk. The accommodation was clean.
