The view is beautiful and we enjoyed cross country skiing in the area. An unexpected power outage meant the hot tub was cold. Hudson called and walked us through getting it back on. He is easy to work with if you have a problem.

Brian and Sarah went up and beyond hosting us. Brian even came and kept the driveway clean from snow the next day, even though we weren't there. Very kind and highly communicative hosts. The cottage is one of the best airbnbs we ever got to stay, and, the surrounding and its surrounding is like fairy wonderland. We will be revisiting again and again when we are near Rossland/Kootney. We highly recommend Brian/ Sarah place.

Alana and her family are amazing. Gnarly Dude is their dog who is a great mascot. This place is a little slice of heaven. perfect for a family with two kids or three individuals looking for a place super close to Red Mountain. Hot tub is so nice in evening. The kids used the sledding hill and the snowshoes to have some fun on the large acreage with the property. Alana provided local chocolate, coffee, and fresh eggs for us. Please remember that this is a lower level unit with beautiful light and windows but people above. Alana's recommendation of four wheel drive proved to be very valuable. I spent a few days in 4 x 4 low in my pickup truck. With over 14 inches (30CM) of snow over the 5 days we were there this is really important that you have a 4 wheel drive. Enjoy and cherish this place. It is truly special.

Beautiful setting and a peaceful wonderful home for our family of three with a toddler. Couldn't imagine a better stay.

This was our second stay at Sri' airbnb. Her and her husband were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is private and close to the beach. We were able to have a campfire which we also enjoyed. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We would highly recommend this place and would stay again.

This was hands down the nicest location we have ever stayed at. The cabin and the surrounding property was clearly a labour of love and it shows. Looking at the stunning photography throughout the cabin added a personal touch. The animals were extremely friendly. The pigs, Aurora and Casteel, were a highlight and so were the dogs. The cabin itself is incredibly comfortable and has everything you might need. Sleeping in the loft with the fireplace with the window open slightly felt amazing. It was our first time using a wood fired hot tub and we couldnt believe how great it was. Plunging into the icy pond was the perfect contrast after. A sturdy, but elegant bridge leads you over the pond and onto an island with a top notch sauna on it. This place was so inspiring and I haven't felt this relaxed in years. The main hosts were away, but Shandra-Lee was friendly, helpful, welcoming and generous with her time.

I had such a lovely time at this cozy cabin. It was very peaceful and I loved how I could sit upstairs or down at the breakfast bar to enjoy the mountain and water view while I had my morning coffee(which by the way enjoyed the Oso Negro local coffee). The cabin was sparkling clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would love to come again in the warmer months.

Nice place with seperate little yard for our dog. Appreciated the spices and tea and coffee in the kitchen.

We loved the little cabin! We definitely will be back on the warmer months…the view of the lake was so nice and being across the street from ainsworth was ideal. Parking made me a little nervous with my toddler but the road wasn’t too busy and we just had her climb out the passenger door near the home and not the road.
