What a serene location and well appointed cabin! My little family enjoyed every bit of the property and cabin. My 2 year old tromped the yard, played in the fort, dug in the sand, constructed with the toy trucks provided, and enjoyed the play kitchen in addition to exploring the loft upstairs. There were so many places and spaces to relax and take in God’s creation. We will definitely be back!

We've stayed here twice with our extended family. Our kids have gotten used to fishing in the pond and roaming the grounds. This is a very special place, and the house itself is a historical landmark. The owners have done excellent work to keep the house updated while also preserving the period furniture and charm. Highly recommended, and we would certainly stay again.

Absolutely beautiful place. We enjoyed the entire house. She left us some snacks, along with a great local coffee. Her instructions were excellent. We didn’t need to ask any questions, because her instructions were great. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely home! Plenty of open space for family time! Close to the water and the views are perfect in the area! Kroger near by, along with plenty of things to do and restaurants to visit! It was perfect for our weekend vacation to see my husband’s family. Only negative thing we saw, there’s a few cracks throughout the home seem to be a foundation issue didn’t interfere with our stay by any means just very noticeable upon arrival.

Justin was an amazing host. My family really enjoyed our stay there. We played softball all weekend. Everything was perfect, we had zero issues. When I return to play again in a couple months I hope this home is available. Highly recommend this rental for any family that likes a peaceful and private environment. I hate we forgot to sign the guest book.

The house is beautiful, inside kept very well, love the older furniture and the pool table at the entrance, bathrooms spotless, kitchen well equipped, lots of couches to rest, the outside windmill was an unusual sound when it was windy, but you could not hear it from the main bedroom, there were 2 large black super friendly dogs to welcome us the first day. Be careful if you have a low rider vehicle when you back up from the carport, the “lip” is tricky, only for low cars. Absolutely peaceful area, no traffic. It was a good stay. Thank you Melanie 😊

Cabin is absolutely perfect for families. Located in such a beautiful, serene area. We would definitely stay again. Hosts were great!
