Very peaceful and beautiful place, my family and I enjoyed it so much, my 70 old father and the adult grandkids said that is the new family vacation spot for summers when we go to visit our daughter. Very rustic, but well taken care of property. My dad loved the coffee they provided.

I really liked the atmosphere, hosts were very nice people. And i enjoyed the air bnb itself, it was a pleasant experience. Will definitely be back again in the future.

2nd time staying here but in a different house. (The corn crib) We absolutely love coming here. It’s just so peaceful and a perfect place to unwind and relax. The property is beautiful and we love the rustic old feel that really brings us back in time. Such a great place!

This cabin was beautiful. It was decorated and furnished well and had a peaceful and cozy vibe. It felt very private and the lake views were spectacular. The space was well laid out and the cabin was very clean. The hosts were very accommodating and allowed for an early check in, which helped us out. There really wasn't anything negative about our stay. It was perfect for our quick getaway!

My partner and I are city folk (Dallas) who needed to get away from it all for a few days. Valentin's place was so peaceful that we never left the whole time we were there (Three nights) . There are other houses around, but not immediately nearby (there is a nice distance between all the houses in that area), so you still feel like you are in your own little world. Whether you are on the patio or upstairs looking through the large A-Frame window, there is beauty and calm awaiting you. Lounging in the hottub while you gaze out at the stars and across the lake is another bonus feature. This is the perfect little getaway.

This place was sheer peace, an experience of memory lane and the BEST nostalgia known to man! The games are super unique, the hot tub rocked our kids worlds, the fire pit had us singing with the quitar and talking about our lives, together. It was super cozy in every spot and functional for a family of 6. We had to peel them away when it was time to leave. They even played the old school video game outside on the back porch. We loved the sounds of nature all around us. Thank you, Thank you!! This therapeutic to the soul!

This was a weekend getaway well needed and deserved I will be booking again, if you want peaceful and like nature this is the place to get it .

We have stayed at this house 4 times now. We LOVE it! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. The view is amazing. We absolutely love getting to use their boats in the private lake. This house is so special to us and we always have such a great time and make wonderful memories. Dennis is a great host and is always there to answer questions. I highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

There are some things in life that just can’t be fully described with words. Paul & Kari’s place is one of them. This place is a treasure. I booked their place because I needed a place to write, uninterrupted. What I didn’t expect is for the place to be so spectacular. From the cozy furnishings, the great selection of books and movies, and the fully-stocked kitchen to the large bathtub, the hammock and the firepit. But what stands out is the surrounding property. Absolutely secluded. It was such a treat to wake every morning to the serenade of birds, drinking coffee on the back porch, and watching the squirrels scurry around. I will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a secluded, relaxing getaway, this is it.

What an awesome place to stay and Kristen is an amazing host. We loved the surroundings - pretty ponds and trees - and we loved the farmhouse. Juke box was so much fun and everything was easy and comfortable. Plus our son got to meet some of the farm animals!

We came for a family reunion, ended up having the family come here and bbq. We had so much fun, and was able to accommodate everyone. The layout is beautiful and fun to explore! My family decided we are gonna come back every year for our reunion and stay here. It’s beautiful and love the space for activities! The bath houses were a treasure aswell, fully stocked with good shampoos and folded towels for everyone to use! Good amount of things to keep the kids busy aswell! I’m very impressed with this location and will definitely be coming back!

The host was great and the farm was picturesque. We arrived to a trio of ducks greeting us and Kristen left my wife and me a bouquet of flowers and treats for our anniversary which was above and beyond. Sitting in the tower hot tub and watching the stars was the highlight of the evening. But so many things we could have enjoyed if we had more time. We want to come back! Close drive to Tyler for a nice meal and we stopped in Athens on the way back at a nice little coffee shop and brewery. Basics in nearby Chandler but we loved we were far enough out to just hear nature and miss some light pollution.

We loved our 3 nights in the loft cabin! Such a beautiful space at a truly unique and beautiful getaway! The kids and I loved feeding the horses, kangaroos, and deer! They loved the paddleboat as well, and are already asking when we can return.

We came to the area for just 3 nights to visit an elderly relative and needed a place to stay but knew we wouldn't have much time to enjoy the amenities, as we needed to focus on Dad this trip. In retrospect we realize we need to come back and stay again and enjoy the ranch! I did love my coffee in a front-porch rocker as the sun rose over the pasture across the road, and we loved collapsing after each long, emotional day next to an oak fire in the woodstove to debrief and make plans. It was just what we needed. A true blessing. We appreciate Harlan and his family offering this lovely place to strangers as they do.

What a wonderful escape from the city. The grounds are gorgeous and there is so much to do while you relax. Can't wait for another great stay. :)
