We had a girls trip to this cabin and it was perfect for the 6 of us! We played games, enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace, and made all our meals in the well equipped kitchen. It was exactly as described, very cozy, easy to find and easy check in. Host was very responsive to the one or two questions we had. Highly recommend!

My family and I were able to spend Christmas here in this beautiful cabin, we were so happy with all the effort Penelope put in to make it cozy and feel just like home. She was very kind, responsive & overall an amazing host. We can’t wait to come back one day! (maybe to the bungalow)

What a gem! Justin and Lauren were extremely communicative throughout our stay. The drive east from Nashville is one of the absolute prettiest drives. The house was spotless and had such sweet touches including some snacks that our kids enjoyed. One thing I really appreciated was the cabinets were stocked with spices, olive oil, etc. - things I normally pack as they aren't usually available, but this was a last-minute trip and it slipped my mind. The beds are very comfortable, the views are amazing and the hot tub was wonderful. This area of Tennessee is my favorite places for a weekend getaway, mainly because there are so many state parks and trails within a 30ish minute vicinity. We definitely plan to come back when it warms up a bit and get out to do more hiking next time. 12/10 recommend! Thanks, Justin and Lauren for being such great hosts!

This is my second stay at Curt’s. I was in town for work and spent my days in Nashville but this was the perfect sanctuary to come back and get away from the hustle and bustle. Burgess Falls was a quick drive just over 30 minutes. I had done this hike previously but it was BEAUTIFUL in the snow which we received. There are several other hikes driveable from the cabin! Pros: hot tub! In nature, waking up with views and the birds chirping. Tips/Info: the neighbors dog did come down to say hello where if you have a pet that is reactive to other dogs this may not be the best spot, beds look over the living room area where there is not a bedroom and the stairs to get to the bedroom are steep. Overall: this is one of my favorite stays! Curt and Kate are responsive and helpful to ensure a great stay. The cabin is cozy and perfect for an unplug for work, a romantic get away or a boys trip where a trip to the city may be in the cards. Will return. Thank you!

A place I would definitely return to a private and quiet place.

We had such a wonderful time! The inside of the home is stylish and pristine with a lot of cute personal touches, and the outdoor living space and fire pit are perfect and well maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked and it was easy to cook (not to mention the awesome blackstone grill). It’s not quite as secluded as we usually prefer, but whether it was by the fire at sunset or during the day lounging in the hot tub—we still felt cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

We loved Ann's place. Hiking to the waterfall out back was a special bonus. It's very close to Fall Creek Falls which was a great excursion. The home has comfortable beds, rooms, and hangout space.

Stay was great …. slept good ….. only negative thing was the tv ….. we could only watch one live channel…..also 2 other bedrooms had no tv at all ……

Carol is a lovely woman. She is very kind and gives the best hugs. This place is perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. She messaged us to let us know she had left breakfast in the fridge and turned the heat up for us before we arrived. She was very responsive. She and Teddy even visited with us during our stay. We visited the Bon Air coal mining museum that she donated to the town. Met a great man there who shared a lot of the towns history with us. Surrounding area is beautiful. Be sure to check out the overlook to the gulf at sunset if you get a chance. Amazing stargazing as well. Berta's cafe had great breakfast. Highly recommend this comfy, cozy, serene spot to anyone looking to connect with nature and soak in the beauty of creation. All the animals were amazing as well. So nice that we decoded to extend stay an additional week.

Great place to stay to get away from traffic and crowds. Some what isolated (which we wanted) so we came prepared with food and snacks. Pool and hot tub were well maintained and my kids enjoyed hours spashing around.

Mike’s place is a little slice of middle Tennessee heaven. The cabin itself is just beautiful, representing a little bit of history but with modern day amenities. Fully stocked with everything needed for a relaxing stay in but close enough to shops and restaurants if you want to spend time outside of the cabin. We stayed for 9 days and did a mix of both. Enjoyed the surrounding hikes and restaurants Mike recommended but also enjoyed relaxing by the fire and spending the evenings stargazing. Mike was super responsive and flexible with us. 10/10 highly recommend booking a stay here!! We will be back for sure!

The house and property are exactly as the pictures posted. The views are beautiful. The house is really fantastic. Adrian was helpful when we had questions. The kitchen has ample room for food prep for a large group...we had our 8 kids with us, and we made all our meals in the house...griddles for pancakes, crock pots for soup, two sinks and two dishwashers. Also, the downstairs kitchen has a full size fridge, so we ordered pickup groceries from Sams and we had plenty of room to keep stuff. The TV's are easy to use, and we did a movie streaming one night, so wifi is excellent. We visited 6 state parks in just one week, so we stayed busy during the day, and had a homey place to gather in the evenings and play games at the dining room table, or the kids loved the games downstairs...table shuffle board and pool, and foosball. The outdoor areas are excellent, and we used them some, but temps were often in the 30's, so we didn't use the porches as much, but what a bonus!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! It was impeccably clean, tucked away off the beaten path, and came with all the amenities we could ask for. The serene location provided the perfect getaway, and we felt right at home with everything we needed right at our fingertips. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat.

We stayed for 4 months during the winter and really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were looking for a peaceful & quiet getaway in nature and that’s exactly what we got. It was so comfy and relaxing. We loved having our morning coffee in the sunroom over looking the lake. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi was super fast, lots of TV channels. There’s no cell service, but with the fast wifi you didn’t really need it. We were sad to leave! Would definitely come back, and absolutely recommend Melissa’s place for anyone who wants a peaceful escape.

This is a beautiful cabin set at the edge of the woods. The space was very clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed being in nature but still a short drive from the city. The hosts are wonderful, provided good pre-arrival and checkout instructions, and provided quick answers to any questions.

Amazing little cabin. Very private and didn’t have to worry about people around. Cozy and comfortable the entire time! Bradley was very responsive and had everything we needed in his cabin. Very much recommend!

What an incredible stay! We had an absolute blast while staying at the Jump Rock cabin! We hade some strong storms roll in which caused some unexpected events but the hosts were amazing, very responsive, and kept us well informed! The serenity of the location paired with the unbeatable craftsmanship of the cabin made for the perfect weekend getaway. If you’re on the edge with your decision, book it! You won’t regret it!!

The cabin and the area around are so peaceful, and felt nostalgic. We had a great time at the cabin and will definitely be returning!

The home was lovely! We had a great time using it as a base to explore Fall Creek Falls and Rock Island State Parks. There was a lot of space to spread out; we particularly liked how kid friendly the place was. There were a lot of toys, the ping pong table, board games, and even great books. We highly recommend!

Shara had a wonderful cabin. Everything was just like it said . Very clean . Very quiet. A good amount of space. I felt right at home . Beautiful view. Shara was amazing at responding right away . Would definitely stay again when I come back. Me and my family enjoyed the cabin . It was very peaceful . Shara is a very good host. You will absolutely love this cabin.
