We stayed at Hidebehind for our honeymoon, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, Scott made us feel so special by preparing sparkling wine and a balloon to celebrate. The house was spotless, and they even plowed the driveway for us! Scott went above and beyond by offering us a late checkout so we could enjoy a more relaxed morning. Honestly, we didn't even feel the need to leave the cabin—it was the perfect place to unwind. We absolutely can't wait to return!

Hands down, the most beautiful, cozy, and well-appointed Airbnb we have ever stayed in! You can just tell how much love, attention, and consideration has gone into every detail. It was the perfect place for a romantic getaway—you have to come here!

We stayed at Jennifer's cabin for our annual ski trip. The location is right next to Sugarbush and close to Mad River Glen, which meant we could get right on the slopes in the morning. The cabin was clean and cozy, with all the amenities you would want in a ski cabin. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after coming off the hill. Also, there were plenty of local restaurants to eat at close by. We would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a comfy cabin to stay in, stop looking. You found it! 10/10 cozy, warm and wonderful

Our stay at the ZaLo waterfront cabin was nothing short of peaceful and cozy. The space had everything we needed to make the most of our winter stay. We especially enjoyed utilizing the fully stocked kitchen to enjoy homemade meals and braving the cold to warm up in the conveniently located hot tub. Jon and his family were extremely welcoming and communicative. It’s apparent they take pride in their spaces and truly enjoy making experiences memorable for others.

We appreciated how pet friendly this place was! Fenced in yard. Blankets to cover the furniture to allow dogs on them. Close enough to many different ski mountains. Perfect to come home to the wood stove and hot tub.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. The cabin and surrounding property are beautiful, and Evangelyn was a wonderful host. If you’re looking for a peaceful, “home away from home” getaway, this is just the place.

This was my second time staying at Sam & Erin’s, they are great hosts, very responsive communication.. House was very cozy & clean. Woodstove gives it awesome ambiance and kept the wife nice and warm. Even got to hot tub during a snow squall which was great. Town wasn’t far for shopping needs. The perfect getaway place for peace and quiet

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

We’d stayed at Will & Patti’s place before, prior to the pandemic, and were so pleased to see not much had changed - it’s still as beautiful and peaceful as we remember. The perfect place to get away for a weekend to hike and unplug from everything. We hope to stay longer next time!

Ian’s place was a dream. Such a beautiful spot and cozy cabin. I mean, you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful view. We even saw an otter out on the shore! Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Any nature lover’s dream plus close enough to the city to go see and do. I would 100% stay here again.

Emily's place is a beautiful, peaceful cabin in the woods. It was the perfect place for us to get away from the noises of the city and work. The beds were comfortable. It was a very cozy cabin, especially to sit by the wood burning stove, curled up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book. It has beautiful windows to watch the snow fall. And, the sky was so beautiful to view at night. So many stars! Emily was very prompt with communications. She has a book of recommended places in the cabin, but even as we visited with her, she was quick to send us information about different places we talked about. As dog-lovers, a bonus for us were the daily greetings from their Golden Retriever, Darla. She is super friendly and social. Emily was very clear though that if she would bother us, they were keep her at their home which is on the property, up the hill. Great place and great host! I'd stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay here!! The home is even more beautiful than in the photos. We found it to be very spacious, clean, cozy and close to everything we needed. Hosts were a pleasure and communicative. Will absolutely be coming back.

Cosy, stylish cabin with cool hunting- and fishing-themed decor. Clean. Comfortable bed. Views of snowy hills and mountains. Host had plowed a good path through three feet of snow to the door. We hope to return in the spring and enjoy the views while sitting on the porch.

The cabin was a perfect mix of private getaway and beautiful scenery. It is close enough to Stowe for any needs or fun activities. The inside was clean, well prepped and overall a joy to stay in.

My group had a wonderful stay. Maude provided all the info you could need before arriving. The cabin had plenty of cookware and supplies to last our stay. Everything was clean, easy to use, and Maude was very responsive to any inquiries. I would stay here again!

We loved our time at this cozy cabin. It is very private and secluded. It had everything we needed for our stay. The wood stove heats things up quick and was easy to use. We were able to snowshoe right from the porch, as it snowed every day and there was plenty of property to explore. The cabin is close to alot of things we enjoyed. It is very bright and peaceful inside. The steps to the loft bedroom are steep, but we expected such. The road to the cabin can be sketchy with a fresh snow, but our AWD with all weather tires was more than capable. We did take it extra slow coming back down the hill to the main road as it had not been plowed. We would recommend to anyone wanting a private getaway and would definitely stay again!

This place is truly a dream getaway! Located just a quick five-minute drive from Jay Peak, it offers the perfect blend of convenience and cozy charm. The home has a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. If you're bringing your dog along, you'll love the scenic trails right out back—perfect for a peaceful walk or an adventurous hike. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to whip up meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. And the hot tub? Absolutely amazing—such a relaxing bonus after a day on the slopes or exploring the area. A special shoutout to our host, Haley, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped stay near Jay Peak!

This was overall a lovely stay! I appreciated that the description and photos matched the experience. Darren is a responsive host which was also very appreciated. The cabin was cozy, clean, and beautiful. I recommend looking at the forecast before your visit and making sure you have a car with 4 wheel drive if you expect snow since cabin is located on an unpaved road.

Dwayna was a phenomenal host; her cabin was clean and exceeded its description. We especially loved the surrounding trails. I highly recommend this stay to others and hope to be back next time we make the trip to Vermont!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was quiet and secluded in a beautiful setting. Misse replied to all our questions very quickly and provided some great hiking and dining tips. It was just a great weekend all around.
