If you want to walk right out of your door to bike (or hike) on the VA Creeper Trail, this is the place! It was fun to see the bikers coming through. The location is perfect, right between Abingdon and Damascus. The surrounding countryside is absolutely gorgeous. The Holston River is across the street AND there is a lovely winery right down the road. The house itself is charming. The furniture was comfortable. Dorata provided everything we needed, plus more. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place.

The place is very serene and beautiful… u can hear the glorious river from anywhere outside - occasional moo’ing in the background … and you’re back to peace - thanks so much Phil !!

We had a girls weekend. Celebrating years of friendship. The home was perfect and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We all loved the hottub. Matthew was extremely responsive. We would book the house again for sure.

Absolutely loved this place! The signs leading to it greatly helped getting to it, even in the dark. The whole place was clean and ready for us when we arrived. I love automotive stuff so the garage theme was cool to me. Only thing I would suggest is bringing some water to drink! We sadly didn’t experience any wildlife but we were driving most of the days. I highly suggest visiting Damascus for its local shops and views. Not to mention the creeper trail is at a walkable distance from the Garage, though the walk back will include an incline up the driveway.

If someone wants to come back, you know you hit the mark! We are definitely rebooking for future travel and recommend anyone looking for a nice spot near a river with easy access to outdoor activities and a place that you feel so comfortable in that you forget your traveling, go ahead and plan a stay here.

We stopped here for one night while traveling. Mariann’s place was lovely. We all liked the lake house theme. We spent some time in Hungry Mother State Park before moving on. Great stay!

This was our first time at this Airbnb. My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. This was exactly what we were looking for. Remote, peaceful and relaxing. Nothing but cattle farms on rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Amy was a perfect host and the fresh eggs and meats from their farm were amazing. We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely, new, sparkling clean, comfortable, modern house. It was really well equipped. The kitchen is probably one of the best equipped air bnb kitchens I have cooked in. Beds were really comfy. The house is in the small quiet town of Damascus, right on the Creeper trail. We rode the Creeper Trail one day and spent the second day exploring the fabulous Grayson Highlands State park. All in all a great weekend.

We had such a Wonderful stay my son & I with our pup,the place itself was perfect so much room to move around in,it was all open & had everything you needed plus it was in a beautiful area.Everything she said it was in the description and so much more .I was also happy to see it was pet friendly. It snowed ,we went hiking with our pup for the first time and saw wild horses at Mt.Rogers.I can’t thank you enough for all you do and it was a pleasure talking with you,you’re absolutely the best & can’t wait to come back 💜
