Perfect place for peace and quiet. It is very hot during the day in the middle of Summer, but sure cools down at night. Only a few minutes drive into town. If you are outdoorsy and lower maintenance, this place is is definitely for you.

we had such a fun time here! We just went for a quick overnight r trip, but we would have loved to stay longer. We initially had a hard time finding where to go, but Anne was right there to help. It seems ideal for a family reunion or get together and we'd recommend it for anyone looking to get away in nature!

A great value for a unique and comfortable stay. The ambiance of the yurt, set up against the hillside, was a perfect place to relax, unplug, and unwind. The heated floors and mini-split did a nice job of quietly keeping the yurt comfortably warm - not something every place like this can say. And we LOVED the private hot springs tub - what an amazing amenity.

It was a long way up the mountains, but a scenic drive and we felt like we were on top of the world when we arrived! It was great…so very peaceful and relaxing! Amazing, awe inspiring views…an opportunity to enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and stars! Thank you…what a nice camping facility…those swings were so fun!!

Our family had a fantastic time glamping on this camping site! Even though our tent was close to the other campers, we had good privacy and even our own fire pit to do smores! And there were so many fun activities around for our boys (paddle boat, small playground, feeding the bunnies, etc). We highly recommend it for young families!

We enjoyed our stay in the yurt. The location was convenient, it was comfortable and the showers and toilets were well maintained. The propane fire pit was an added bonus. Thank you, Heidi!

The Polynesian yurt was a special stay for our family. The views are stunning, we got to step out on the front porch and see shooting stars. The beds were so cozy and completely accommodated our entire family, soft blankets and all. It was the perfect distance from town and the trains were a nice touch for the kids. We hope to be back! The hosts were wonderful and super responsive. Their yurts are a must if you find yourself staying in lava hotsprings.

My family will definitely be returning. This was such a fun stay. We brought a projector and a screen, and had the absolute time of our lives. It was very close to lava Hot Springs, but far enough away from everything to have our own experience and feel like we were in the middle of nowhere.

Was a great stay, the yurt was comfortable and charming the outside amenities were great and the view was amazing. Directions and check in were easy. Five stars for glamping.

We had an amazing stay at Chris' yurt. Beautiful valley location with a nice stream nearby. Chris sent very clear instructions, was very responsive to questions, and provided not just a clean place to stay, but an experience that made lasting memories for our family. We stayed for the Perseid meteor shower and were not dissappointed. We will definitely be staying again!

This place was so incredible! We absolutely loved it and wished we had a multi-night stay. We went in the middle of the winter and there was snow everywhere but the heater inside the yurt kept us toasty warm and set a great ambiance. You are a one minute drive from the amazing Kirkam hot springs! The hosts have a rustic and unique lodge with a wood stove that we wished we had more time to hang out in! They also had an outdoor fire pit that we also wish we could have enjoyed more! Mattress and yurt were much newer and cleaner than I expected and we loved the rustic furniture and ability to see the sky with the skylight! We will likely come back for a weekend day trip to soak and hang out in the lodge and hear live music on a weekend! If you come in the winter, you may have a hard time getting in the driveway without a 4wd vehicle!

Wonderful hosts and a wonderful stay! First time staying in a yurt and it was very comfortable. It was very windy during part of the stay but it stayed nice and cozy inside. Would definitely stay again!

It was a one night quick stay but still a wonderful stay overall our first time in lava hot springs. Naomi was super nice and such a great host. The yurt was easily to find. Our kids were super impressed. There was no tv but we enjoyed not having one. :) Thank you so much! We can’t wait to come back.

This creekside retreat was absolutely wonderful. It was so calm and peaceful. We're teachers and this was exactly what we needed for our spring break. Everything was clean and in order. Josh was an amazing host. The amenities in the house were great for saving some money on meals . We absolutely loved the sounds of nature and the fun farm animal noises. We loved the privacy that we had. The first night was pretty rough with the neighbors dogs barking non stop but after a visit to the local hardware store for some ear plugs, we slept great the second night. Our kids loved having space to play in the yard and see the roaming kitty cats. Josh recommended the Thousand springs for swimming if we had kids and it ended up being perfect for our needs. Will definitely be repeat customers :)

The yurts are so fun to visit by yourself or with a group of friends! It’s beautiful and the bar is so much fun to eat and drink at! The heater was a little hard to use but ask the host and they will help!

Fantastic stay, was a very relaxing place. Walking trails were awesome, had a great quiet weekend. The yurt was super cool!!
