Had a lovely stay a great host very responsive, clean and tidy cottage , exactly what we expected and had hoped for , for a quiet and cosy weekend break. Couldn’t ask for more.

We had a lovely stay. House was as described, clean and had all the things we needed. Would recommend to friends and family.

Lovely little cottage in a lovely area of the country. We were down to visit a friend and watch a local theatrical production but we also managed to do some walking in beautiful woodlands that were just a few minutes drive away. East Harling is a very pleasant walk away - but probably not at night - as part of the walk is on unlit roads with no pavements. Possibly a little unfairly, the location review was dropped a star for this. Mary was very friendly, responsive and provided comprehensive and accurate information. All-in-all it’s a lovely bright little cottage in a lovely tranquil location ….. I nearly forgot the hot tub - lovely touch - clean and a very welcome mode of relaxation.

What a lovely little cottage with a beautiful view!! We went with our 1 year old twins for a mini moon and had the best time. Rowland was a great host, he sent clear instructions on check in / tide times etc, good communication and gave lots of recommendations for local places to eat / drink etc This is located next to a pub with really good food and an amazing pizza place we ate in along with lots of other good fish restaurants with a short walk to the high street. West mersea is small but with everything you need and relaxing vibe. We took the kids in Colchester one day to a pool and isn’t too far away. We would 100% recommend and would love to visit again. Thank you!!

We had a perfect weekend break accommodation as described 👌. Joanna left homemade brownies that lasted all of 5 mins 😁 milk, eggs, yoghurts, vase of flowers, cream, and cookies all made the first impression Perfect. We walked throughout the large grounds used the jacuzzi, games room with toilet which had sky tv on a large screen pool table tennis table football and ice hockey game, lots of seating to watch. Very quiet and secluded area 20 25 mins from beccles local pub unfortunately we did not use. Farm shop on site with local fresh produce and everything thing you might need if you have forgotten anything. At night no light contamination so on a clear night we could see a sky full of stars planets etc. Overall perfect place Perfect accommodations and perfect guest 👌 A1.

Our first foray into a group holiday and no one was disappointed. When you arrive at the Cottage,immediately you feel at home safe and comfortable. The pics don’t really portray how cosy it is. The barn with its 3 in 1 games table is enormous fun and kept us boys entertained and out of the girls hair,while the log burner sets the scene for the evenings quieter fun. We will return,I’ve no doubt. Thank you Coral x

We had a lovely stay. The highlight has to be the fabulous hot tub, what a treat. Also getting to meet the cows and helping feed them, my grandson loved that. The kitchen was well stocked with utencils and equipment, we managed to make a Christmas dinner with the full works. Whilst there we had a meal at the local pub and used a farm shop. We also visited a beach less than 40 minutes away. My kids loved the piano and had an awsome game of hide and seek, theres some great hiding spaces! Thank you Emma for being so understanding about the extra Christmas rubbish we created.

This house is in stunning countryside surroundings. We we felt lucky to see all manniersims of local wildlife including a deer from the livingroom window. There are loads of walks from the doorstep. A car is needed to get to local points of interest and a supermarket/ pub etc. We went to Alburgh, StowMarket, Dunwich and Felixstowe beaches. All were lovely in their own way. We also visited the owl sanctuary and Thornham walks. I have mobility issues and found everywhere in the surrounding areas easy to navigate even when using my wheelchair. The stairs in the property I found more difficult as it is a cottage with steep stairs, however that was my error in not realising this when booking. The house is very comfortable and in winter I can imagine being soooo cozy! The owner of the house responded very quickly to some issues we had with the cleanliness of the house upon arrival and was more than fair in her solutions. I would 100% recommend Chloe and her beautiful house.

I had come for a few days of quiet, writing and walking, and the cottage was perfect. I particularly loved the bedroom. My one small reservation was that the cooking facilities and space were very limited. I expect most guests will be eating out so that this will not be an issue but I am a vegetarian and was cooking for myself and would have liked more space to prep food and more means to cook it. Sam and Mike were both welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. There was a slight problem with the shower which they got fixed immediately. Very considerate.

Wow, what a beautiful cottage. Had a fantastic stay. Marie the host was super helpful. The cottage itself has to be seen to be believed. So, as long you are fit and can cope with mountaineering the staircase (literally!) you will have a fantastic experience. Spotlessly clean, full of charm and very well equipped. Will definitely return ;)

We had a lovely stay at puffin cottage. The location is excellent for exploring southwold and enjoying the beach. Em’s place is beautiful - spotlessly clean, easy check in and with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here; both the house and garden are just beautiful. The house is super clean and tidy and has everything you need for a comfortable break. The kids thought the tiny doors were hilarious and loved having their own room with a 'secret' entrance! Thank you, would definitely recommend :)

Fantastic stay at Rookery Cottage. Super clean and comfortable. Fluffy towels and really fresh bed linen noted. Lovely welcoming touches from Kerry and Adam. Beautiful location with pubs walkable distance. Easy to get to Aldeburgh and Southwold with a car. Framlingham is a must for Detectorists nuts like us! Gorgeous weather meany we were able to enjoy our first Suffolk trip in all its glory! Thank you Kerry and Adam x

I stayed at jens whilst working locally. It’s situated in a beautiful part of Suffolk,extremely quiet and peaceful.the accommodation was as described giving a real homely feel.i can’t fault the service I received at all and would gladly stay there again.highly recommended.

Fantastic cottage in idyllic location. Photos do not do it justice - it’s a beautiful cottage, full of character and charm. Lovely garden too. Had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent.

A perfect stay! Very lovely, clean cottage. Perfect to stay with a dog. Small shop opposite the house so very convenient if you forgot something and don’t want to drive to the big shop. There is also a lovely farm-shop nearby. It was very peaceful and quiet. Perfect relaxing gateway. Only 3 miles to Southwold (it took us 10 mins to get there by car). It was very comfortable, we stayed as a couple with a medium size dog. There is also some garden furniture, so you can have a lovely meal in the garden! Tom was very helpful, I got a flat tire on the way to the cottage and he recommended a garage to get it fixed, was super speedy and they were very flexible. Will definitely be back! Would highly recommend!

I stumbled Accross this Airbnb quite by chance and I was blown away. I have now visited over and over again because the location is close to family. I always feel right at home. The cottage has everything I need for my stay, plus the hosts make it super cozy and welcoming with afternoon tea on arrival (I live for those scones) a fire at the ready to create ambiance and warm the living area, plus some bubbly and amazing coffee to relax with. I travel from the US so these details upon arrival make me feel very welcome.

We stayed in oak cottage and loved every second - we have 3 city kids who ran around the garden / play area / anywhere they could the entire time! We enjoyed the outdoor bath after our days out (Jimmy’s farm & southwold pier) and the bbq and fire. Pizzas were fantastic, even our very fussy 7 year old approved. We hope to come back when our youngest is older so he can experience the memories made here too

We had a lovely short stay. The property was ideally located for walking to both the town and sea and we had no need to use car. It was thoroughly cleaned for our arrival and Jo even let us park early whilst she was getting it ready.

Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings. Had everything we needed for a great stay! Enjoyed seeing the pheasants wander past the window! We drove to Orford Ness, which was well worth a visit, did a walk in beautiful Rendlesham Forest and would highly recommend the Unruly Pig for dinner (vegetarian tasting menu was top notch!) — responsive and friendly hosts — we didn’t cross paths much while there but they seemed lovely when we did and although the cottage is next to the main house, it didn’t feel too overlooked. We really enjoyed the quiet and the views from the cottage across the fields. Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I stayed here for Christmas and we had the best time. We were greeted on arrival by Feri and when we entered the cottage it was spotless and had everything we needed. Feri and Steve were very friendly and attentive and responded quickly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend visiting here and we will gladly book again soon.

Myself and my wife had a wonderful one-night stay at this lovely, modern Airbnb. The space was impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and offered all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The host was communicative and made check-in a breeze. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen/bar and the comfortable bed, which made it easy to relax after a long day. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay.
