The perfect place for a vacation. Enough out of the way to feel like a peaceful woodland cottage while close to town and all the fun activities the Island has to offer. Great hosts, great attention to detail, and a great time.

This is a really special home. Exactly as pictured/described, right on a sandy beach with a huge level lawn (perfect for soccer, balls provided). The house was very well stocked and extremely clean (at one point we lost something in/under the couch and were shocked at how clean it was). It felt less like a vacation rental and more like staying at a friend's beloved beach house- in a good way. Dave and BJ live next door and were so kind and friendly but gave us plenty of privacy. This part of the bay has nice calm clear water. The road was quiet enough to walk on. There is a county park next door with a playground best for young kids.

Just the perfect escape from the city with an amazing water view! Love to come back during summer! Thanks Alex and Lana, great hosts!

Brenda will have the house set up nicely for you upon your arrival. The sound of the Skykomish rushing by and views of Mt. Persis and Index will leave you mesmerized!

We had a magical time at Colin’s - visiting with old friends, enjoying the abundant bird life surrounding the house, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, cooking memorable meals, and sleeping soundly each night. The home and location were perfect for us, and Colin was a generous host and a quick and easy communicator. We’d definitely return.

Bill's farm provided a welcoming and reasonably peaceful space for our recent visit to Whidbey. With few screens, little cellular coverage, and a well supplied woodstove, this property proved an excellent fit. Shawn shared helpful background about the property, as well as straightforward logistics for checking out. Our family is hoping to return soon! Thanks again!

Foster's cottage is our go-to place to stay for our visits with family in the area. The cottage has everything you'll need and is an easy 10-minute walk to a shopping area that covers all the basics like supermarkets, drugstores and restaurants. Cozy and well appointed. We'll be back.

I loved the backdrop with the cascade mountains out the back door. I loved the proximity to North Cascades national park. The space was extremely clean and comfortable. Only drawback was the proximity of the bathroom from the bedroom. I know it’s a weird quirk and complaint, but not being used to a place and trying to find lights and the bathroom in the middle of the night is interesting.

I enjoyed another great stay here for my climbing trip in Index. The cabin is so clean, comfortable and well-appointed but also has a lot of character. It's easy to go for walks right from the door and you can watch the sunset light up Mt. Baring from the porch. Looking forward to another stay!

Beautiful location! The path to the home has beautiful views through the quaint & unique little community. We loved the quiet morning beach stroll & the fire pit views in the evening. The hosts were kind & welcoming. There are a few off leash dogs in the communuty but recalled by owners. Such a great little weekend spot to relax & unwind.

We had a relaxing, peaceful stay with our toddler and dog. Caramia was a great communicator, which made the booking and our stay seamless. She had excellent recommendations and a thoughtful house manual full of helpful info. The home had lots of thoughtful touches and had everything we needed. We loved the serene location that was just a short drive to groceries, restaurants, and beautiful hikes. Just an hour drive from Seattle.

Marianne's house is very conveniently located at the north end of Camano in quiet, safe, neighborhood close to the water and with private back yard. Her home is very clean, comfortable and attractive. We really appreciated the extras like great coffee and a dozen eggs on hand as well as cooking oils and some condiments. We were there for Christmas and the house was a little difficult to keep warm. There is a nice fireplace but no wood on hand. This home is pet friendly and though the house had been thoroughly cleaned, it did smell faintly like a dog.

Amazing stay. What a beautiful place to be in nature. The house was very well stocked and the snacks and beverages were a very nice touch. Beds were comfy. The dock and lake access were perfect for what we wanted. Water was nice and clear, beautiful place to hang out and swim. Would definitely stay again.

Upon arrival we were met by the host, Connie, which was greatly appreciated. Connie gave us a tour and acquainted us with every aspect. The house was beautiful, immaculate, and very welcoming. Everything is labeled. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you could want or need. It is a chef's dream. They provided our first breakfast, which was very thoughtful. We were able to get up, get on with our day and not have to worry about anything. It's all there for you when you arrive. The antique furniture and decor is absolutely gorgeous! Another great amenity we appreciated was a steamer and large laundry area. We reached out via text to her, which she provided for ease of communication for our stay. We had a minor issue which received prompt attention. Connie reached out to us in the morning to make sure we had a comfortable night, which we did. There was ample room for our group of 10. We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again given the opportunity!

I enjoyed my stay. The house is very comfortable. Everything I needed to know was clearly communicated prior to my arrival. Beautiful neighborhood and a quiet street. Very nice place.

Lovely little cottage right where we needed to be! The area is beautiful and peaceful and the cottage was spacious. Peggy communicated regularly to make sure we had what we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. We didn’t use the kitchen as we were visiting family in the area, but it appeared to have a number of conveniences for a longer stay too. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

We are so happy we got to stay at the Whale’s Nest. We had a group and rented the entire home. The location in Edmonds is unbeatable and we hope to come back to stay in the future - right in downtown, close to everything, but still felt totally private & safe. Very clean & super comfortable beds, cozy & well-renovated spaces. The layout was not quite what we were expecting, but it still worked for our group. We didn’t utilize the downstairs living/kitchen at all. Location is 10/10!!!
