We had a lovely family stay at Ann & Ian's place this past long weekend, enjoying the beauty of the property for one day & then heading off early to the ski fields for the second day. The house is as described. Not luxurious but very comfortable, plenty of heating options & adequately equipped for a family with older kids & well-trained dogs. The location is remote so there's no easy ducking to the shops & the commute to the ski fields is quite long, but we were very happy with that, feeling like we managed to combine a country, snowy mountains break & a ski trip in one. An unexpected highlight for us was getting to know Brian, the wonderful next-door neighbour who was a wealth of local knowledge, history & relationships, & a truly brilliant man. He and his wife Kerry (who we unfortunately didn't get to meet) have lived an admirable life of service, in particular to young people. I hope someone local is going to nominate them for an Order of Australia Medal! Thanks Ann & Ian.

What a great place to stay! 2 nights wasn't long enough for all of the activities to do in this place. Great big kitchen and lounge area, amazing bathrooms, very quiet but convenient location, and having a spa under the stars was incredible.

Beautiful place in a nice area. Amazing views from the master bedroom and bathroom, we were lucky to have clear skies. A great place to recharge surrounded by nature and wildlife. And great thanks again for accommodating the horse-riding on such short notice (we didn't know it was possible!). Kids loved it so much, best Christmas gift!

Spotless brand new place, Holly is a beautiful and friendly person. Loved all the little details in the house, everything was well thought through. Jacuzzi/spa and infrared sauna was fully functioning and made our stay even better! Loved it all overall

What a beautiful, quiet place with expansive views of the lake, a surprise wombat for a neighbour and even cute tadpoles in the fish pond. We loved our stay but sadly we didn't have any time to use the spa (there's a spa!). The coffee machine was a nice touch and got plenty of use. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

River K Lodge was exactly what we were hoping for. It's set in the most stunning location and the house and the property are so calm and peaceful. The house is absolutely gorgeous with large windows showcasing stunning views in every direction. The little creek out the back just makes this location so special. And being able to watch the stars and see the Milky Way so clearly at night from the hot tub is indeed a memorable experience. The home was also beautifully done and so, so comfortable, with lots of space for our family to spread out. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. And you're only an easy 10 minute drive from Jindabyne with its' restaurants, coffee and other amenities. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!

We had a wonderful stay at Julie’s. A very comfortable and cosy cottage. Our hosts were very generous and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We especially loved feeding the animals and the hot tub. We highly recommend visiting and we look forward to returning for a longer stay.

We had an amazing stay in The Barn at Tinkersfield. Couldn’t have asked for a better location, access to the mountain plus easy to get back down to Jindy for dinner. Sonja was extremely responsive and a great host. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

Wow, what an amazing cabin! The view was absolutely gorgeous, and we loved watching all the wildlife around us. We even got to see a deer just outside our window when we woke up :) The place is in a beautiful location, so peaceful and relaxing. It's seriously the perfect hideaway if you need a break from the daily grind. We had a fantastic time and would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for some R&R. Thank you!

Tranquil escape in a stunning setting. Felt far away from everything, whilst so close to Jindy/Thredbo etc. Booked last minute seeking a relaxing few days of sunrises and stars. Saw neither due to cloud cover/rain but loved every minute of my time here regardless. Beautifully kitted out cabin, a few lovely surprises, and the woodfired bath is amazing! Keen to visit again during winter. 10/10 Romantic getaway spot, equally good for solo traveller in need of some RnR. This is the dream.
