My family and I loved this place sooo much, the photos didn’t really do justice about the place. The manor is sooo much better than the photos. We felt right at home, it had everything that we needed. Margot recommended some places which we visited during our stay and the kids loved it, especially the park near the dam. Margot is a very responsive host, we had to extend our stay since the kids wanted to enjoy a bit more of the place. This area is very quiet and peaceful. Would love to come back here on our next stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have never been to a more magical place. So peaceful, clean, and well thought out. Zoe has provided everything you could need for a memorable stay. She was extremely responsive and hospitable and we would 100% come back again! I’m only home less than 24 hours and have already sent the link to her place to 3 of my friends. I booked Skyfarm for my brothers proposal. We were blown away by the beautiful location overlooking the Sydney basin. Nicky was so lovely, calling me to ask if I needed a hand setting everything up for his big moment. The property was beautiful and so well maintained. Thank you Nicky on behalf of my brother and his now Fiancé !!

We stayed for our first year wedding anniversary with our two children, we loved spending time with all the friendly animals. We didn’t need to leave the place the whole time. Such a beautiful location. Kirsty even set up a treasure hunt for our little ones ( even my husband and I enjoyed it ) We will definitely be back! 😍

Beautifully, cosy home with plenty of space and leafy outlook

The moment you step inside Kookawood you can see it's a labour of love. Hand built by the host and her husband and then lovingly curated (over what must have been years) both inside and out, to create an otherwordly escape that's equal parts French countryside, retro Australiana, whimsical bohemia and Vogue Living. Everywhere you look there's another beautiful item or another fabulous spot to curl up with a book or sit and soak in the view. It's difficult to pull off such maximalist decor well but this is just exquisite, somehow managing to be both super stylish and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor bath, friendly fox, open fireplace and fabulous views from every window were particular highlights. Meanwhile the kitchen is amply stocked and the beds were super comfy. Tens across the board! On a practical note, we have a fairly low-slung sports sedan and we found it handled the driveway absolutely fine, provided you pay attention.

The goat stable was so peaceful and relaxing. We had a great time and enjoyed the soft tinkling bells of the goats in the paddock just outside.
