Florence has a very cozy house, perfect for a visit to the area. The location is close to UWC RCN, which was ideal for us. Communication with Florence was excellent, everything went very smoothly. A recommendable place to stay!

Words cannot describe how special this home and location is! We rented the wood-fired hot tub and enjoyed majestic fjord-side sunsets/sunrises and incredible northern lights from it all weekend... truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Really loved the rich historical feeling of the house with its tasteful mix of unique antique pieces and modern amenities. Would highly recommend to any group seeking a one-of-a-kind secluded Norwegian getaway... just save some dates for us because we definitely plan on returning someday!!

La maison est située dans un cadre exceptionnel. Nous avons été très généreusement accueillis par Lars qu'on remercie beaucoup pour sa réactivité et hospitalité. Nous avons pu profiter du billard, du bateau et du jacuzzi. Tout était parfait! Le commerce à proximité est par ailleurs un réel avantage. Nous espérons revenir, tant nous avons passé un moment suspendu. Merci pour tout!

We spent our Norwegian ski holiday at Lars and Ingvild’s house, and we highly recommend it if you want to explore the region. It’s a perfect starting point for the best climbs in the area, Kolåstinden and Storebrekketinden. The apartment is warm, thanks to the stove and the air conditioning heating system. It has everything a group needs, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The view of the fjord is amazing, and the hosts are very welcoming. We hope to visit this place again!

A beautiful spot tucked in one of the most stunning fjords. If there had been more snow, it would’ve been a backcountry skiers paradise. That being said we still found some great skiing not far from the house. Egil is an awesome host and I would love to come back and visit in the summer and again in the winter (hopefully with more snow). Worth a stay if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to vacation.

Amazing place. Location was fantastic and the hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable, sharing history of the farm. Hot tub was an extra treat especially as we got to see the northern lights whilst sat in it. Would reccomend to anyone who is staying in the area.

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

Wir waren das erste Mal in Norwegen und waren begeistert von der tollen Lage des Hauses, der tollen Aussicht, der Ausstattung den vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Die Gastgeberin war immer zu erreichen, hat und Tipps und Vorschläge gegeben und sich um uns gesorgt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in diesem liebevollen Haus. Wir haben Ruhe gesucht und bei Gunn gefunden, Danke dafür. Der Blick ist unbezahlbar und man könnte den ganzen Tag am Fenster sitzen und aufs Wasser schauen. Wer kann schon gemütlich auf dem Sofa sitzen und die Nordlichter über dem Wasser tanzen sehen. Auf unsere Fragen hat Gunn sehr schnell reagiert und obwohl sie nicht vor Ort war gab es schnell Hilfe. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus verfügt über eine super Ausstattung, bei der man im Urlaub auf nichts verzichten muss, selbst wenn man wie wir mit dem Flugzeug kommt. Auch ohne Auto ist es kein Problem. Mit dem Bus ist man innerhalb von 30-45 Minuten inkl. Fußweg in Bergen, je nachdem welchen Bus man wählt. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Danke das wir Gast sein durften.

Such an amazing location in Olden and we loved being right on the water. Couldn’t think of a better place to stay. We loved spending time outside in the jacuzzi and using the fire pit. The town is nearby and the home included everything we needed.

We stayed at Anne’s with three families with seven kids age 11-14. Great spot and big property that is perfect for kids. Idyllic setting and tons of space and toys. Best of all was that there were night bathrooms that couples could each have their own and not even have to share with kids! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, well-stocked home. Anne and Chriss were super responsive and wonderful hosts. The location was about 25 mins from Bergen. Kids loved that it was far away from city without being too much of a drive. Only downside was that nearby restaurants and grocery were minimal - but that was also part of the charm!

Miejsce jest naprawdę godne polecenia! Dom zaprojektowany i wykonany z wielkim kunsztem. Naturalne materiały we wnętrzu pięknie nawiązują do widoków za oknami. Wyposażenie też bardzo gustowne. Byliśmy z zaprzyjaźnioną rodziną, mieliśmy wspólnie wyjątkowy czas. Każdy z nas wspomina ten wyjazd jako najlepszy w życiu. Poza samym domem okolica jest piękna. Podczas całego pobytu każdego dnia zwiedzaliśmy nowe miejsca. Piękny kraj, bogaty w niesamowite krajobrazy, które zabierają dech w piersi. Myślimy o ponownym pobycie. Łóżka były bardzo wygodne, pościel jak w najlepszych hotelach. Wygodny stół (w 8 osób było nam bardzo wygodnie)i dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Codziennie gotowaliśmy pyszne dania podziwiając widok gór za oknami. Niesamowite przeżycie. Siłownia dobrze wyposażona, piękne pokoje do wypoczynku. Było dużo lepiej niż się spodziewaliśmy! Kontakt z Ove był bardzo dobry, jest bardzo uprzejmym i pomocnym gospodarzem. Podpowiada najlepsze miejsca do zobaczenia. Na nic nie można narzekać!

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

Ingvild You have a beautiful house, very cozy and with a wonderful view, every detail is thought out with great care. You feel like you are in your own home and to complete the excellent experience we had the privilege of seeing the northern lights from the terrace, it couldn't be better!

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!

We had a wonderful stay at Merete and Jesper’s beautiful home. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we felt at home right away. You can really tell how much thought and care has gone into making it such a special place. This stay was a real highlight of our trip—we’d love to come back. Fantastisk opphold i en romslig og koselig hytte. Vi var 10 gjester, og hadde alt vi trengte! Verten svarte raskt, og var veldig hyggelig og behjelpelig. Kommer garantert tilbake!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt - alles entspricht den Fotos. Die Hütte ist groß, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet mit toller Lage und einem wundervollen Blick in die Berge. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Hot-Tub ist noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem I - wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

My stay was truly great. This place offers something magical and unique which can hardly be described in a review. The house is spacious and cosy with a stunning view from the outside terrace. The silence and peace of the surrounding nature allows for a complete relaxation which can be further enhanced by heat from jacuzzi and sauna. I have befriended a bird, admired mossy rocks in the search for trolls and listened to the Norwegian folk music in the radio. You can have many little adventures there :)

A beautiful cabin with panoramic views across Fjellsaetra with a wonderful hot tub to use after skiing. We had the best week. Eirik was extremely helpful in giving us advice on local places. The cabin itself was well appointed and great for two families

Kristina and Adrian’s cabin was a great home base for exploring a beautiful area. They were also very responsive and when we needed help troubleshooting something. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and very easy to use. We traveled with 2 small children and were happy we didn’t need to do much childproofing!
