The location of this stunning villa on the hillside directly overlooking the sea and towards Mount Etna is far more spectacular in real life than it looked even on the comprehensive and accurate listing. Mari and Guiseppe are the most attentive, thorough and delightful hosts and the house has the ambience of a luxurious family home (rather than a rental property) as they use it themselves regularly. We rented the villa to mark my eldest son’s 30th birthday and both our sons accompanied us on this trip to the Catania area where their great grandfather died in 1943 at the Battle of the Sfero Hills. We paid our respects at his grave and traced the place he fell on the battlefield. The beautiful villa is a good base for many Sicilian wonders nearby. Syracuse/Ortigia , Rugusa and Noto to name but a few. Etna was erupting and sadly remained in the clouds in rather unsettled weather but that didn’t detract from an exceptional stay. Loredana war stets per Handy erreichbar und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen herzlichen und netten Kontakt auf Englisch. Das Haus und der Garten sind wunderbar: toller Pool, wunderschöner Garten, rundherum eine Mauer bzw. Hecken, großes Wohnzimmer, gut ausgestattete Küche, ausreichendes Bad. Alles war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Kritik nur für das weiche Ehebett (für mich okay, für meinen Mann nicht) und die kleinen Kinderbetten. Für kleinere Kinder ausreichend, für größere Teenies nicht mehr. Die Umgebung ist ruhig, man braucht zum Einkaufen ein Auto. Schöne Strände liegen in der Nähe. Preis- Leistung ist hier top!

We spent 10 fabulous days at Giovanna's house. The house is set in beautiful gardens with a lovely pool. The house is very spacious and beautifully furnished, it was superb. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The house is very well equipped, it had everything we needed and more. We used the BBQ's most evenings, eating outside & enjoying the sunsets. We bought great local produce from the local butcher who was very friendly & helpful. You can get most supplies from the local shop in the village including charcoal. The house was a good base to visit the area including Ragusa, Noto, Modica, Scicli, Ortigia & Marzamemi which can all be reached in approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. We travelled a little further to visit the amazing mosaics at Villa Romana del Casale. Thank you for making my husband's birthday so memorable and special. We were very sad to leave and can't wait to return. Thank you Giovanna and Carmelo!

The property is a semi-detatched spacious two-floor villa in a countryside type of environment, very quiet and sorrounded by fields and a lawn where there is a raised swimming pool. A plus for us was also the presence of a piano for rehearsal reasons. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities and equipment, the bed(s) very comfortable. We did not meet Giuseppe in person but on video calls; we were welcomed by his mother who devoted all attentions to us by also beeing very discreet at the same time. We fully enjoyed our stay and the wonderful surrounding beaches minutes away from the house. Visiting wonderful Syracuse, Noto, Scicli, etc. is within short drives. Distance to the Catania airport is 1 hour drive. Very convenient and relaxing location, attentive and responsive hosts: we fully recommend!

Giovanni’s place is very nice and well-appointed. Giovanni and his wife Jenny were very prompt in helping us with some issues we had at home. I strongly recommend this place but preferably during the spring/summer season.

Santo’s house was the perfect location for our vacation. We stayed there for 7 days to explore the region and calm down from the craziness of the big city. The house is brand new, very clean, spacious and modern. It is powered with solar energy and is equipped with everything we needed ( washing machine, grill, nice kitchen, airs conditioning, nice terrace). Highlights for the smell of the lemon trees or the beautiful olive trees. They looked spectacular! Santo was an amazing host and helped us a lot with all we needed and was always available and answered promptly to all the questions. I’ll for sure be back when traveling again in the region.

Als je fan bent van een prachtig zicht over de zee met de Etna op de achtergrond, de rust van een privé woonwijk, een paadje naar de zee beneden slechts 50m verder, een fijne tuin met alle nodige meubilair om te zitten en liggen, een zwembad met buitenkeuken, een ruime woning met alle nodige voorzieningen,... twijfel niet. Wij hadden een hele fijne tijd hier! Enige om rekening mee te houden: het ligt rustig afgelegen, maar dat betekent ook een beetje rijden om ergens te komen. Dat doe je wel op comfortabele wegen, dus helemaal goed. We bezochten de Etna, Noto, Necropolis Pantalica, Siracusa, Cavagrande, Oasi Faunistica di Vendicari, en wel meer in de buurt. Niks verder dan een dik uur rijden. Tijdens de zomermaanden is er een superette vlakbij, de rest van het jaar moet je een eindje rijden voor boodschappen, maar eens je alles in huis hebt wil je er niet meer weg :)

Rendkívül jó szálláshely, a bejutás körülményes egy kicsit, de abszolút kezelhető. Tökéletes panoráma volt az etnára, és abszolút kényelmes és tiszta volt a szálláshely.

We had a wonderful stay at Gioi Villa near Noto for Christmas with our family. The house is very welcoming and offers great views and sun gazing. There is plenty to visit in the region, with delicious restaurants & Enoteca to perfect your stay.

Very nice, calm place. Noto is near (by car) with great restaurants. Communication with Simone and the team on-site (thank you, Corrado) was top.

My husband, young daughter (2) and I spent a wonderful 6 nights at Gio’s place. It was so peaceful, the pool was superb and the fruit trees and animals were fab to have on hand, and were a source of great entertainment for our daughter. There’s lots to do in the surrounding area and we also enjoyed the beach a 5 minute walk from the house. We had a small issue with the shower draining, but Gio was incredibly responsive and super helpful in sorting it very promptly (within a couple of hours). Fully recommend Gio’s place for a restful break or as a base for exploring the beautiful south-east Sicily. Thanks for having us Gio!

We were three families: 6 adults and eight children. The house was perfect for us. We spent quality time at the pool, beach, kitchen, and backyard. Great Sicilian family retreat :-)

Wir waren 2Nächte & 3 Tage in der Unterkunft. Die Villa war sauber, grossräumig und hatte alles war wir brauchten. Der Gastgeber war auch so nett und hat für uns einen kleinen Einkauf gemacht, damit wir gleich was essen konnten bei der Ankunft! Wir waren 10 Gäste und sie gaben uns beide Villen zur Verfügung anstatt nur eine wie geplant, super!! Wir fühlten uns sicher und wohl. Zu Fuss kann man einfach zum Meer, das wirklich schön ist ansonsten braucht man ein Taxi oder man muss sich mit dem ÖV auskennen. Der Gastgeber half uns dabei. Wir sind wirklich sehr zufrieden gewesen und haben die Zeit genossen. Die Ortschaften waren wunderschön!

wow wow wow. es war einfach schön. wie auf den fotos oder sogar besser. man hat platz,der pool ist gross .....es ist wie im beschreib. pietro wie auch riccardo sind hilfsbereit und nett. riccardo ist immer zu stelle wenn was ist. wir waren uns mal unsicher,da es in der nähe gebrannt hat und er kam sofort nachschauen. wir kommen gerne wieder und können es allen empfehlen.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Jochen & Katia's place. The location is excellent, with several beautiful beaches & a supermarket all within a 15-minute drive. The nearby town of Pachino offers fantastic fish markets, cafes, and bakeries, & a 30-minute drive to Noto made for a wonderful day trip, even on a rainy day. The property is well-maintained, & the pool is a great feature. However, there were a couple of small issues that could improve the experience. The security lights in the rooms were quite sensitive, & any movement at night caused red and green flashing lights to disturb the darkness. It would be helpful if these could be covered or adjusted. Additionally, while the kitchen was generally well-equipped, a sharp knife would have been a useful addition. Lastly, our host Carla was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a comfortable and convenient stay, but with these minor tweaks, it could be even better.

We were a group of six seeking peace, warmth, rest and relaxation in the sun beneath blue Italian skies. We found them all here at Il Primo Fiore. The villa suited us perfectly - plenty of space, very good kitchen facilities, a nice pool and glorious views over Noto by day and by night. As well as visiting Noto itself, the villa was convenient for Ragusa, Syracusa as well as Catania airport. Local beaches at Noto and Avola were also lovely. The villa was beautifully clean when we arrived. The hammocks hanging between the trees were well used and we all fell in love with Gordano the cat, who was also very cuddly and friendly. Sebastiano and Emanuel were quick to respond to any questions we had and were very helpful. Altogether a wonderful stay in a beautiful villa, enjoyed by us all. Thank you so much.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem der Pool ist ein Highlight. Auch der wunderschöne und saubere Strand sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Es war alles da was wir zum kochen brauchten und Concetta hat eine Mappe mit Tipps und Hinweisen zu der Umgebung in der Wohnung hinterlassen. Es sind sogar zwei Strandstühle und ein Sonnenschirm für uns da gewesen. Wir sind begeistert und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Casa grande e bellissima corrispondente alle foto. Stephanie e i suoi collaboratori sono sempre stati reattivi e pronti ad ogni nostra richiesta. Tornerei sicuramente!

la villa è magnifica, ben curata e dotata di tutti i confort. la cucina super accessoriata, con numerosi omaggi di benvenuto da parte dei proprietari. tutto davvero perfetto e addirittura meglio di quanto descritto. Marco e suo fratello persone molto gentili, a modo e soprattutto disponili . Una esperienza che consiglio a tutti!

We had a fabulous stay. Both Denis and Katjuscia were really helpful with recommendations . The Villa is just outside Scicli which is a pretty town with everything you need. The pool and grounds were great , everything had been tastefully renovated and it was spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend . Its in the countryside so you definitely need a car.

Das Haus war fantastisch. Andrea ist ein super Gastgeber. Unsere Kids haben vor allem den Pool geliebt. Einziges Manko waren die lauten Umgebungsgeräusche, für die der Gastgeber gar nichts konnte. In der Nachbarschaft gab es eine Baustelle, die leider auch samstags stundenlange Motoren-Geräusche zu uns rüberwehte. Und die Motorsäge war leider auch ein täglicher Begleiter. Wir hatten aber trotzdem eine traumhafte, entspannte Woche hier und haben viele tolle Ausflüge unternommen.
