Tolle Unterkunft mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den See. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man zwar ruhig wohnt aber dafür weit weg von den Orten wohnt. Der whirlpool funktioniert, wenn man den über längere Zeit vorheizt. Einen Kamin haben wir nicht entdeckt, auch eine Heizung oder funktionierende Klimaanlage. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft ein Traum und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

I believe that the restaurant on location is more than enough of a reason to stay at this location. There is a great selection of food and drinks with a friendly staff. Across the street, you'll find a nice pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and kayaks at your disposal. The little cabins offer that decompression you don't normally get from a basic hotel room. The shower drain was a little slow, but there was good hot water pressure and even a purified water tap. There was no TV in our cabin, but we weren't interested in that. The Wi-Fi speed was 12mbps, I believe. The property is covered in an assortment of flowers and plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflies etc. Only real complaint i have is the barking of dogs from neighboring properties. It can go on for hours, but closing windows and blinds helps to dampen the sound.

This cabin is the perfect escape—quiet, surrounded by forest, and filled with birdsongs. The views are absolutely breathtaking, making every moment here special. While it's outside of town, it's just a 5-minute tuktuk ride (about $2USD) or a 15-minute walk to the restaurants, cafes, and bars. Town can be noisy, so this peaceful setting is a huge plus. The solar power, Starlink internet, and filtered water are a rare find and make the stay even more comfortable. Ximena, the host, was amazing—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. If you want serenity, incredible views, and great amenities, this is the place. Highly recommend!

let me first start off by saying, you NEED to book here if you’re visiting Lake Atitlan. Angel and the entire staff was so friendly. They made us feel like we’re their family. We visited for my son’s 5th birthday, and they decorated the entire room with balloons and even bought him 2 local car toys. It was amazing. The breakfast, snacks and dinners we ate were always good. They even bought us smores to make one night since upstairs has a little fire pit. My kid loved it! You do have to take a lancha to get here, but ask the host and they should be able to arrange. They had so many amenities for kids to enjoy! Pool, bouncy house, jet skis, kayaks, so much!! Some for a fee, keep that in mind. The only off putting thing we experienced was lack of water since it’s in a rural area. The water works, but you might need to contact host to turn it on. Everything was just amazing and the views were amazing. We are so thankful for Angel and the staff 🥰❤️🙏🏼

Magdalena was a wonderful host and we had such a lovely stay. The view from the terrace was amazing (perfect sunrise spot) and the hot tub was great after a long day

Beautiful porch and view with easy access to the lake. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Kitchen had a coffee pot, blender, microwave, and everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were wonderful too; very attentive.

Sehr schönes abgelegenes Apartment. Toller Ausblick und sehr gute Kommunikation! Das Team vor Ort hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Wir haben uns stets wohl und sicher gefühlt. Am ersten Abend haben zwei Damen für uns gekocht. Die Tacos waren ausgezeichnet. Den extra Service kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Vor allem, weil das Apartment abgelegen ist und man sich selbst verpflegen muss. Die Restaurants im Ort (ca 15 min zu Fuß) sind sehr gut einfach, aber günstig. Einziger Vorschlag für einen noch besseren Aufenthalt wäre ein Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse. Ab ca 9 Uhr liegt das Apartment komplett in der Sonne und es wird sehr warm.

Staying at Michelle’s place was great. Located perfectly between San Marcos and tzununa allowed for access to the towns while also a quiet and retreat, and space to get work done. If you have a chance head to tzununa on mondays to take a farm tour of Atitlan Organics and other permaculture projects. The cats were wonderful especially Oscar!

This is a great cabin to get away from everything. The construction is really nice, the bed is comfy, and the property is beautiful. When we were there the thimbleberries were perfectly ripe and so good. It's private and quiet (except when the cows cross the road). The insects and birds in the evening are relaxing from the upstairs porch. The wood stove is nice but can get a bit smoky where it's not sealed until the fire really gets going. Everybody involved is nice and helpful. You do have to get a tuk tuk or pickup to the property and they might try to overcharge you, but overall it's not *too* inconvenient to come and go if you're patient. It is out of the way and there's only a few places within walking distance, and no direct lake access nearby, but the place itself is lovely.

Kenzie and her team very responsive and great hosts. Overall a great place, very beautiful views , clean & private. If staying at lake atitlan for numerous days & looking for some quiet I would recommend her place. For shorter stays like we did where you want to explore or have access to dining it’s worth considering Kenzie’s place but keep in a mind the locations pros mentioned above also come along with Tzununa having less going on. Amazing & beautiful place nonetheless.

Diego is a wonderful host who provided all we needed during our 5 day stay. the place was a perfect location to sit and just relax and enjoy nature and the lake. Highly recommended!

Una experiencia inigualable. Este lugar logra un equilibrio perfecto entre confort y naturaleza. La tranquilidad es absoluta y las vistas son simplemente espectaculares. Desde el amanecer hasta el atardecer, ardillas y pájaros nos acompañaron, creando un ambiente mágico. La energía de los volcanes y la serenidad del lago hacen que la estancia sea totalmente renovadora. Desde el deck, se puede admirar un impresionante risco de piedra que se sumerge en aguas turquesas. Sin duda, un destino al que queremos regresar pronto. ¡Altamente recomendado!

We had a wonderful stay at Ricardo & Davids. The hosts were very kind and helpful with everything we needed. The kayaks were awesome to use and the terrace overlooking the lake was amazing in the morning for yoga, chilling, and reading. The cabins are comfortable and cute. San Marcos is about a 30 minute walk which has all the shopping & restaurants you will want. Location is amazing in terms of accessibility (right by the dock + walking distance to San Marcos). Downsides: road is directly behind the cabins so you hear and feel every vehicle passing by (it slows down in the evening and in the night almost nothing). They are working on building up a stone wall behind the cabins though, to minimize the sound. Bathrooms are also located down the hill from the cabins. Kitchen is very very basic and shared with all cabins so keep that in mind. Tzununa has very little to offer, we can recommend pizza night at Love Probiotics on Friday nights. Otherwise go to San Marcos. :)

La Cabaña es muy bonita, cómoda, completa y a 10 minutos caminando de la Calle Santander en el corazón de panajachel. Los pequeños detalles en la decoración se aprecian bastante. Mis amigos y yo disfrutamos de este lindo lugar. Recomendado.

It is hard to find a place in this town where you can rent the entire house and have greenery around you. Casa limon was just such a place. The host took the time to explain all the rules and was extremely flexible and accomodating. Very good bohemian vibes. Be sure that you have transportation to and from the village. Jonathan is very familiar with the area and always responded to any questions we had. If you've ever gone camping, or you like how older homes often have unique details about them, then you will enjoy this place. It has a very similar vibe.

One of the best AirBNB experiences I've had. The place was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable with nice linens. We picked up groceries on the way per Tina's suggestion and enjoyed cooking breakfasts and dinners with a gorgeous view. The kitchen had everything we needed. I also forgot something at the AirBNB and Tina has helped me arrange getting it back now that I've returned home. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
