My colleague and I came for a work trip but also had a few days to relax and enjoy San Marcos. We truly had a gem in paradise with tremendous views and peaceful decor on the inside. Augustus was so helpful with everything and made us feel right at home.

Carlos is an extremely friendly and responsive host who lives on the property in a separate fully contained unit. His motto," Mi casa es tu casa" is evident in all the interactions. He provides eggs from his 14 chickens to start your day. The main house that you stay in has two bedrooms with queen size beds that are comfortable. There are two lofts with steep ladders that could accommodate more but we did not use. There is another attached unit with a queen sized bed and kitchen but we did not use them. The kitchen has all the utensils you need but could be organized a little better as it feels a little cluttered. There is a water filtration system in the house for your drinking water. We had ample hot water for showers but not in the sink in the bathroom. The area feels very safe and for Pana is relatively quiet except for occasional barking dogs. The house has a lovely garden that Carlos takes a lot of pride in and is frequently watering. Overall, it provides a good value..

A stunning, magical Airbnb and also where my fiance PROPOSED TO ME! Clearly, Mikael's Casa Cielo will always have a special place in my heart. The house is just like everything that was described in the description and you are well taken care of from A-Z during the stay. Miguel-Lukas, the landkeeper, and Mikael made my fiance's proposal vision come true! We greatly appreciate everyone who was involved in this process. One thing to note is the hike is a real hike (we both work out 2-3 times a week and definitely felt it every single time we return to the house), so make sure you have everything you need before heading up and certainly make use of the delivery opportunity! I strongly recommend Casa Cielo for anyone who is looking for a beautiful, special getaway!

El alojamiento de Mikael es super bonito! Rodeado de naturaleza, con mucha luz y vistas maravillosas! El espacio para hacer yoga es espectacular y el amanecer frente a los volcanes no podría ser mejor. La llegada el lugar fue un poco complicada, pero fue más por un retraso que tuvimos en llegar al punto de partida de los botes. Igual recomiendo considerar una backpack porque aunque los anfitriones y sus colaborades siempre dan apoyo, la subida a la casa no es facil con maletas. Una recomendación importante es cargar con efectivo! Porque en Guatemala casi todo se puede pagar con tarjeta, pero en la zona del alojamiento no siempre hay señal y al ser un pueblo pequeño, la mayoría pide efectivo preferentemente en moneda local. Très propre! Magnifique logement à proximité de plusieurs petits restaurant et café. La vue est magnifique. Je recommande :)

It is hard to find a place in this town where you can rent the entire house and have greenery around you. Casa limon was just such a place. The host took the time to explain all the rules and was extremely flexible and accomodating. Very good bohemian vibes. Be sure that you have transportation to and from the village. Jonathan is very familiar with the area and always responded to any questions we had. If you've ever gone camping, or you like how older homes often have unique details about them, then you will enjoy this place. It has a very similar vibe.

I just have no words for how beautiful this house is. we stayed here for our honeymoon + it just exceeded our expectations in every way. Luis is the man! thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. we will definitely be back!

This was a beautiful spot! the view really was incredible. The place was clean and well equipped, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. as a few other reviews said, there is a restaurant next door that played loud music in the evening, but it was always over by 9:30pm so it didn't affect our sleep.
