We love our stay at the villa. It’s gated and private with direct access to the lake behind the house. On clear days you can see the three volcanoes at the lake. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Very peaceful, you can hear birds singing. The interior is beautiful and cozy for the four of us. The house manager Juan is there during the day and took great care of us during our stay. We love that we are just a few steps from the center of the village with a church, market and few local shops. Santa Catalina Palopo is a charming, small, very local village. Just 10-15 mins tuk tuk ride away from Panajachel where you can catch public boat to visit other parts of the lake. We are glad we picked this place as our home base during our visit.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

By far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. We came during a time where there were protests blocking the roads for hours and Daniel kept us up to date on what was going on, met us late at night when we got there to guide us to our destination. He even made sure dinner was ready for us when we got there after such a long day of traveling. Maria made us a delicious dinner and breakfast. The house was beautiful and exactly how the pictures looked. This is a must stay destination if you’re in lake atitlan

Somehow the pictures don’t do justice to this place!! It is way more beautiful! I felt like I own the world, with that view of the lake and the volcanos. The stuff were very helpful, very kind, schedule a massage for me and were there to answer any questions. Two things you need to know though, they were tooo many stairs to arrive to the house from the lake, and they don’t have a comfortable living space ( basically no living room!! Or they do have a small space, but the chairs are not comfortable!!!)

Beautiful house and plenty of room to spread out. There were 6 of us and we loved having our own rooms and bathrooms. Private and secure. The hot tub was a nice touch.

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! Miguel always there to care about our stay and each day he prepared the bath with clean hot volcanic water. This bath was awesome and made the difference in this stay. The place was the neighborh of the main street with artisans wich is nice. However for people who want peace, just to let you know that it was sometimes really noisy. The temescal was accessible with a cost. Internet was good to work and the place was rustic but clean and comfortable. Santa Catarina is a nice little town with friendly people. Excelente ubicación y el lugar muy bonito y cómodo para bastantes personas, mis amigos y yo encantados con el lugar aparte de que todo estaba muy cerca para los lugares turísticos, incluso caminando. El amanecer es algo increíble y hermoso desde los balcones. Vale toda la pena del mundo.

Una casa increíble, vista espectacular, solo deben de tener en cuenta que no hay negocios cerca, deben de llevar comida y el muelle hizo difícil el acceso.

This place exceeded our expectations, it was even more beautiful than the photos! The living space is spacious and breathtaking, with a stunning yard that offers an unobstructed view of the volcano. The kitchen was fantastic, and we loved spending our evenings cooking dinner and grilling on the barbecue. Every night, we used the temazcal (like a sauna), which made our stay even more special. Lesley and the groundskeeper were incredibly responsive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Lesley also shared local recommendations and kept us informed about daily events in San Marcos. An unforgettable stay, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Joshua’s home was a paradise getaway. The views of Lake Atitlan from almost every angle were captivating. The architecture of the villa was an art of its own. The house manager & his son were incredibly helpful, gracious, & much appreciated in every way! & what a lovely experience it was to be boat taxied into town and back. Beds were comfortable, home was clean, and kitchen came equipped with anything you could need. We hope to return at some point, a definite recommend.

We absolutely loved the Jade casita at Balam! Valentín was there to welcome us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Balam is a little oasis, about 5-10 minute tuk tuk from Pana. You can also walk or take a Tuk Tuk to Santa Catarina which id also recommend if you have time! Definitely recommend having them cook you breakfast in the morning so you don’t have to run to town or cook yourself.

Tolle Unterkunft mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den See. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man zwar ruhig wohnt aber dafür weit weg von den Orten wohnt. Der whirlpool funktioniert, wenn man den über längere Zeit vorheizt. Einen Kamin haben wir nicht entdeckt, auch eine Heizung oder funktionierende Klimaanlage. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft ein Traum und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Beautiful and tranquil spot near San Pedro. The views of the lake were stunning, and the atmosphere was peaceful—great for relaxing. A bit removed from the bustle, but still easy to get into town. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

Una cabaña muy bonita para relajarse, cómoda y excelente atención.

Don’t wait, BOOK NOW! You won’t regret it, it’s so beautiful & peaceful. A 5 minute walk to their farm full of animals: llamas, chickens, goats, pigs,etc. for free! You also get breakfast included & the people are so attentive & nice. Waking up to the sunrise thru the clear windows is something you have to experience. They have so many activities & a great restaurant too.

Muy lindo lugar, con todo lo necesario para pasarla genial. Tiene varios servicios incluidos, lo cual hace que valga la pena el precio que se paga, ya que puede usarse la bañera de piedra, el jacuzzi, shala de yoga, piscina, sauna, restaurante y el acceso al lago con muelle propio. La pasamos muy bien en este alojamiento, gracias por hospedarnos.

El alojamiento de Dushinka es demasiado bonito, incluso más que las fotos! Hay varios espacios para estar: el muelle, el deck donde se puede cocinar, el área del jacuzzi y la casa. Tiene todas las comodidades y muchos detalles que hace de la estadía muy completa. Además el personal de apoyo es muy amable! Si quieren una escapada este es el lugar ideal!
